I called the locksmith to help me make copies of the house keys which he did right away. He came to my location just to do that. But I thought I'd ask him if he can make a copy of my keyless car key for my 2017 Civic Si. He said no problem and started working on it. It was ok. Not the best experience. He was late to our appointment. He gave me an estimate of $85.00. Total cost was $109.00 for a new car key & fob with working battery. Too late in getting another bid for half that cost from a different shop. It didn't take long,. He was efficient. Would have been quicker if he hadn't been dealing with a frozen locked gate into his establishment. Very difficult place to find. Heck, he even showed up a half hour early, which in retrospect was better for my schedule.
