Such a nice guy! I lost my keys yesterday and was panicking a little bit about getting copies for my apartment. I called him around 8:30pm on a Saturday hoping that he could help, since yelp said he's available 24/7. He told me that I would have to come to his house, but would be able to copy my keys. So I drove to his place and he said that it would be $3 per key (I'm guessing cause it wasn't during regular hours.) I reached into my wallet and found that I only had $3 and I wanted to get two keys copied. I told him that he can just copy one of them, because I didn't have enough. He laughed and told me that he'll just copy both for $3 because of the trouble I had to go through in driving to his house. He was seriously the nicest guy ever! I didn't know there are so many different kinds of keys. Apparently, the key I wanted to have copied isn't very common so the worker had a difficult time finding the right key. After 10 minutes of searching, he found it! I got 2 key copied for $4. If I went to Home Depot, I don't think they would've be able to make a copy. I also wanted my car key battery changed but he couldn't get the screw out and also stripped the screw. So, being the handy man I suppose myself to be, I tried to install a locking door knob set into a closet door here at home. My home is too old for that kind of simplicity, the old door knob is some rare, undersized thing which cannot be replaced by today's sized knobs. I call Beverly Locksmith and the dude shows up on a Sunday, takes my new doorknob and installs it in like 10 minutes. It's a clean job and now my door locks. I don't know what this was supposed to cost, I budgeted $100 and paid under that. A slight blemish might be that he did not provide me with an estimate, even after a request or two.
