We had Jin come out and re-key three doors on a house we just bought and he was awesome. Made an appointment with him via phone/text a few days before and he arrived promptly the day of. Took just under an hour to re-key the locks and make us copies. He even took the time to fix a deadbolt that the contractor had installed backwards. Prices were super reasonable. Our key broke in half and after Home Depot wasn't able to copy the key with their machine, we called this place. He responded right away to my phone call and we texted him a picture of the key, he said he could do it so we drove to his place which was very convenient and easy to find. Incredible service! I lost my key and got locked out of my car. I called Beverly Locksmith and Mr. Jin arrived in about 30 minutes. He unlocked my car and let me check my trunk to see if I had left my keys in there. When I couldn't find it, he very quickly made me a new my car key and explained that my old keys wouldn't work. This locksmith is great! My truck had been stolen. When found, I wanted to change all of the cylinders and reprogram my key. The dealership was asking for $1,400. That's a price that made me sick. When calling around, one of the venders I contacted referred me to Beverly Locksmith. For a fraction of the dealership price, he changed all of my cylinders, reprogrammed my key, and gave me two new keys. This is great service from a really nice man who charges a very fair price. read more

Jin was incredible! He answered his phone at 830pm, 5 minutes after my roommate had broken off her key in the front door lock. He was at our front door 25 minutes later, and we were able to get in the house and lock it again 10 minutes later. He also fixed the latch in the door frame so the door shuts tighter than it did before. AND he made us some spare keys, free of charge. All this with a great sense of humor and wonderful attitude. I have never written a yelp review before, EVER, but this man really deserves it! I got locked out of my apartment at 9:30 PM after walking my dog and was in a panic until Jin from Beverly Lock & Key showed up to my rescue. He ended up having to take my entire lock off my door to avoid drilling through it like most would've done in a hurry, fixing the broken lock, making me a replacement spare key, and also tightened my other locks since they were loose. Did I mention this was all done for the same quoted price for picking a lock??! He ended up working on my lock for over an hour with no complaints about the difficulty and length of time it took. I will definitely call him again if I ever find myself locked out. Great service, super friendly, and a really reasonable price for saving your ass from the cold in the middle of the night!!!
