Jin was incredible! He answered his phone at 830pm, 5 minutes after my roommate had broken off her key in the front door lock. He was at our front door 25 minutes later, and we were able to get in the house and lock it again 10 minutes later. He also fixed the latch in the door frame so the door shuts tighter than it did before. AND he made us some spare keys, free of charge. All this with a great sense of humor and wonderful attitude. I have never written a yelp review before, EVER, but this man really deserves it! I got locked out of my apartment at 9:30 PM after walking my dog and was in a panic until Jin from Beverly Lock & Key showed up to my rescue. He ended up having to take my entire lock off my door to avoid drilling through it like most would've done in a hurry, fixing the broken lock, making me a replacement spare key, and also tightened my other locks since they were loose. Did I mention this was all done for the same quoted price for picking a lock??! He ended up working on my lock for over an hour with no complaints about the difficulty and length of time it took. He talked me through the options, no BS, no extra sales pitch. As he started working I figured, hey why not see if he can fix this door handle I've been having so much trouble with as well? I needed a spare key cut and programmed for my 2015 Ford Escape. I ordered the key online as buying from a Dealership was very costly. I received the key and called several auto locksmiths to find out if they were able to cut and program it. They either told me that they would not use the key I had purchased because they were liable if it did not work, or they quoted me a price comparable to a dealer or more. I was very frustrated to say the least. I went on YELP to read reviews and I found that Jin from Beverly Locksmith had all 5 stars. I figured I may as well give him a shot. I called him and made an appointment. Met him, gave him my keys, and 30 minutes later he was done! No issues, no problems, very fair price and Jin was very pleasant. I highly recommend him.
