I've been to this BevMo! a few times now and it's my favorite liquor location in the area. They have garage parking off of the sidestreet Sycamore, which they will validate for you. A couple of parking spots for BevMo customers are right outside the door with a 20 minute limit, but there are other spots if you go up a bit higher in the garage. As a craft beer girlie who loves bourbon barrel aged beers, I appreciate their selection here. It's hard to find BBA beers in this town and they have a bunch of great options. They even have Goose Island Bourbon County variants at a reasonable price of $25. I'm such a fan of this BevMo! location, I'll definitely be back. read more

I went to Bevmo on a Sunday afternoon. The store was pretty empty so I had time to browse around without feeling rushed or anxiety from large crowds and chaos. The young lady that was working there preparing delivery orders took time to help me out and answer all of my questions which was kind of her considering they had more online orders then people in the store. The layout of the store was huge and it was well lit and clean on the inside. They have underground validated parking but I just parked in the strip mall locate directly next door due eas of the complex. I will definitely be shipping here again on a Sunday afternoon to avoid the crowds and get in and out in a timely manner. Plus they had the wine that I was looking for so that is always a win-win. read more

A bearded male employee with glasses and a medium build was rude and dismissive when I asked a simple question. Instead of helping, he had an unfriendly attitude that made me feel uncomfortable. One of the workers tried entering the restroom while I was in there ! (No one else was in store beside the workers. He was outside bathroom before I walked in and when I exited) and when I exit he said something very inappropriate to me. I was very uncomfortable/scared ran out. Told my friend who was waiting in car, he went and said something to the manager. The manager didn't seem to care. And was clearly covering for his coworker with out listening to us. Not the widest of any big-box Bevmo (their tequila is surprisingly sparse for LA) and their staff isn't the most knowledgeable, but they have a lot, and parking is easy once you get the hang of parking in the lot around the corner (they validate for an hour). read more

I literally always come to this location. For years even. Never have I been racially profiled like I was last night. I was getting multiple spirits for my graduation party. The associate came and took a few of the bottles I chose to the register. I chose to continue to browse. Until I realized The security Noel, was coming and standing at the end of every aisle I was on. Long story short, I went down 5 different aisles and here he comes to watch me and pretend he is doing his job and not trolling. Literally down EVERY AISLE this man Noel followed me. In the photo this was my last straw. He's pretending to look the other way when he sees my phone but there's nothing but a WALL behind me. I Decided to just leave because I was uncomfortable and at this point your treating me like a criminal who doesn't have over $100 of product sitting at the front counter. So I went to pay for the spirits that was already at the counter and I told the manager Kathy, she didn't seem to care, gave me a chuckle, and eye roll and told me "it's been a lot of thefts around here" and I I said " he didn't do that to anyone else in the store, that's profiling" she responded "l'll talk to him" i mad I even gave them my service. Great staff at this location! The general manager Rob is super nice and helpful. I called one week in advance to reserve a keg and the process was smooth and easy. The person that helped me over the phone (Xavier I think?) was sooo friendly and knowledgeable! I would def recommended this location to anyone in the area. Had such a great experience had to write a review. A few days ago I purchased a 24 pack of Lagunitas IPA - one of my favorites, and we noticed the taste was kind of off - no carbonation, no bite, no hops. Tried another round and it wasn't a fluke. Called the store and an associate connected me with a woman who I am assuming is a manager and she was very helpful. I even learned about the julian bottle date thing breweries do. The beer I had gotten was bottled awhile back so it made sense why it tasted so bad. Anyways, I was able to bring in my 24 pack and get it exchanged for a fresher beer. I was expecting to just have to deal with my old beer. Such a small thing really helps during these crazy times. read more

I bought a bottle of Red Stag whiskey, or, at least, I thought it was whiskey. Turns out it was a sweet blackberry liquor made to look like whiskey. Not Bevmo's fault, but I brought the bottle and receipt back and asked if I could exchange it. The Saturday afternoon manager came over, and said the ABC laws prohibit him from offering an exchange on the liquor (I didn't want my money back as I just wanted to replace the item with something I could drink). I then asked if I could, at least, get a small store credit, and he said I could not. I reminded him that I was a frequent customer there (a fact he could confirm by checking my Bevmo! customer card number). He, again, said no. I've been here a couple times before and it was always a great experience until yesterday when me and some friends went to buy a bottle. The security looked angry and miserable the WHOLE time the cashier in front kept telling my friend to move over here and stand over there there were NO customers so it was really annoying and then when my boyfriend asked one of the workers if we could get a Hennessy bottle she said "now I feel uncomfortable" ??? Don't come here with your younger brother (12 year old), or they'll ID both of you and feel like they're doing a deed to society. I see people in here with their kids all the time and they aren't ID'd, absolutely absurd and illogical for them to refuse to sell when he's obviously under age. Could have just told me when I was greeted at the door he wasn't allowed in the store, even the older security lady assured there was no issue but the self proclaimed "manager" needed the satisfaction of having me walk around and select my beer and wait in line just to be slick and tell me at the cashier he's going to need my brothers ID.
