The store was very Organized and well stocked with everything from liquor to wine. Also Russel (a new hire) was an amazing help! He personally helped find what I needed quickly. Also the other employees were very kind. It was thoughtful how some of the shelves aren't tall so you can grab what you need, which was a great help for short people like me! This is located next to Best Buy kind of off by itself. This made for easy parking. I was looking for gourmet bottled sodas for a gift basket. The Natomas Bottle Company down the way didn't have any. They had some although most of it was different kinds of rootbeer and expensive AF for $2.19 to $3.99 for one bottle of soda and I needed 21. This whole store is expensive but you are paying for convenience. I was too tired to drive all over town looking for it. I did wander around aimlessly looking for a cart and to find these sodas. I passed by a few employees who never asked if I needed any help when I was clearly lost. Btw, there were no carts but this giant one left in the front. I looked in the parking lot and there was only one in the cart return so I shrug to say if they offer carts at all?? Saving grace was the nice young man at the register who put them in boxes for me. This place is so unorganized. It doesn't matter if it is busy or not. Somehow, someway they have you waiting. This time I really analyzed the situation, they have one cashier and multiple employees in the aisles stocking. This makes absolutely no sense on a weekend in the middle of a Saturday 10/4/25 evening. Shouldn't they be stalking during the week preparing for a weekend? I can never get out of here within 5-10 mins after just quickly grabbing something. This is why I don't come here much and fool myself thinking they will one day get it together. read more

Myself, cousin, and best friend came into the store to purchase some soda for mixers and attempted to purchase mini-bottles of Pink Whitney and Fireball at the register. Though I was the person paying, we were all asked for our IDs and my 27 year old cousin who was on a work call did not have her wallet and we were refused service. I had to request the sodas and provide proof of ID for NON-alcoholic options and argue that ginger beer was also non-alcoholic in which we had to have a separate transaction that my cousin whom did not have her ID purchased. Quite frankly, save yourself the trip and just go to Target around the corner or local liquor store. You'll have a similar ambiance anyway of mildly dingy and mid-level service. I've been a loyal customer at this BevMo for years, it's the only place I buy alcohol. I recently placed a pickup order and my experience with Jill, the cashier, was beyond unacceptable. She was rude, unfriendly, and outright refused to check the back for my order, claiming it wasn't there. Isn't that her job? She offered no assistance or resolution and seemed completely uninterested in helping. Thankfully, we spoke to anotber store associate, who was kind and professional. She immediately retrieved my order from the front so Jill lied or didn't even try to look for our order. When Jill rung us up she doubled down on her dishonesty claiming the order had just been packed. Even though the helpful associate explained it had been ready for a while, and they had tried calling us because one item was out of stock. I've never had an issue with any other employee at this store, most of them go above and beyond and are incredibly friendly. This experience however was very disappointing. Employees like Jill, who do the bare minimum, lie to customers, and lack basic customer service skills, shouldn't represent this business. I gave 2 stars because the customer service here is usually good. However, if I were rating based solely on today's interaction, it would be 1 star. read more

The workers here are pretty nice which is important because they know where items are located and can find it with the quickness. The store is separated by the type of alcohol. My fav beer shop with more selection than the grocery/drug stores etc. Untiiiiiiilllll Total Wine arrived on Arden. That store is like crack, heroin, psych, ecstasy, presciption pills for drug abusers. I jest. The selection at TW is insane. I can spend 2 hours there easily. Now back to BM. Good-sized clean store. Friendly workers and usually someone will see if you need any help. One time they asked everyone but me. I used to come here for beer tastings. Paco who used to work here was a cool dude and ran the tastings. He had a vast knowledge of beer. I miss him. I never did ask but I assume he left for greener pastures. I think he was going to college about 10+ years ago when I knew him. Bev Mo still has tastings. Beer Iam not sure. Wine I think so. Store is organized. Selection is decent but pales in comparison to Total Wine. Prices are higher than TW. Beer prices have been going up since gas prices went up! Arrgh. Sale items on ad and sign up and get coupons. That is the best defense against these rising prices. But of course most of yours and my favs will never be on sale and if you want it, then biting the bullet so to speak is par for the course. Easy in and out. Nice clean store and overall good workers. They will put your beers and wines and wrap them in paper and use boxes where necessary. The reduced beverage selection is not discounted at all with similar pricing to a regular grocery store. Service is sloowww. I don't come here as off as hubby but I do make it out Here about once or twice a year. Our normal run here is usually for some speciality alcohol and this time around it was for raspberry liqour and pumpkin beer. It been awhile since once been here but walking through the store I can see they have had made some changes in the store. Love that they having a host area for gift ideas, fine wine tasting area, cold cuts and cheese fridge, pickled items, glassware, cigars, mini bar stock ups for stocking stuffers . Only downside thing I have to say was it wasn't busy at all in the store like there was 3 customers and 2 of them were us but we weren't even offered help and even when we asked for help the lack of knowledge in a product was disappointing. They just lacked customer service there wasn't anyone At the cashier. They have a decent selection around over all but just needed to work on the little things. read more

WTF!!!!!!!! Tesla superchargers are located right across from this location, so I have ALWAYS conveniently went in and grabbed quick snacks sodas etc, ESPECIALLY when I have my toddler with me. Ran in today to grab A-leave, chips and a soda and was told I needed my ID. Buying alcohol, using a credit card then yes by all means I understand but I've NEVER been asked for my ID before today to but non alcoholic items. Unfortunately all of my belongings were in the car so I didn't have my ID. A complete effing JOKE!!!!! Is there something special that you want just ask one of the employees because they will find it for you! They can also provide really great advice on what type of alcohol to get in the different price ranges and the mixers! I always get exceptional service when I come to this location. The staff always greets you when you walk in, they're usually on the floor to help with any questions you have, and always open up additional lines when the line gets too long. They have buttons that you can push for help with the locked up items, which is really helpful when you can't find an associate on the floor. I went in today and there was a girl at a booth giving out free tequila shots!! What?? I've never seen that before, but that was pretty awesome! You also get discounts off alcohol for joining their loyalty program, totally worth it!!! They have great sales and email you coupons as well. read more

I went in looking for Cake Chardonnay and was unable to find it. None of the employees asked if I needed help (Chardonnay section is in the front in plain view of the registers) so when I gave up and left, the cashier said "have a great day" and I smiled back and said "you too". Then I heard her with her coworker: "did she just take something?" "I'm pretty sure". What a great feeling to be judged based on my appearance. This isn't my usual liquor store. I came here because I was in the area. I don't know what kind of people frequent this location. I don't know how often theft actually does occur. Maybe they should have security if it's that frequent. But I have a purse like any other woman. I'm wearing a coat like everyone else because it's cold in January. I wasn't looking around suspiciously although they would know that if they'd asked if I needed help. Maybe the employees here should be trained to assist rather than pass mediocre judgement. Can't believe their employee is so rude!!! I frequent this location because it is close to where I live and it is (was) the best option for grabbing alcohol and party supplies. I walked in quickly to grab one item and get back home because I was in a rush. As I walked in, three employees were up front. They said "Hi, welcome in" and I said Hi as I ran over to the item I needed. I'll admit they probably didn't hear me reply at the volume I said it. Chris replied "Oh, I'm doing great. Thanks for Asking. Bitch". I grabbed my item and went up to the register, started paying and said that they should really watch the remarks they make to customers and it was really unprofessional. Chris laughed and I started to walk out. As I was halfway out the door, he turns the the employee next to him and starts saying "this bitch comes in, walks past... etc" and I turned around, asked him if he was really going to call me bitch, again, in front of me. He said he was telling his co worker exactly what happened. So I took his picture and will be calling corporate as well. Today was a super stressful day so I did a buy on line pickup curbside order. When I arrived at the store I wasn't sure where to park or how to check in so I called the store for help. Thankfully Ashley answered the phone walked me through the process I was still unsure of what to do. But Ashley went straight into action and asked what car I was in and my name so she could just bring my order out to me making the process way easier for me! This initiative as small as it may seem was greatly appreciated and not something I experience at other businesses. If you like pina coladas... Or any other adult libation, this is your store! The store is hidden away in North Natomas, but easily seen from the highway. ( so you know it's there ) The staff is brilliantly helpful, and they loved the challenge of trying to find a speciality liqueur. ( sadly not available in California ) The store offers a huge selection of almost any drink you can think of, from beer to champagne. The prices aren't horrible ( the big box stores might be less ) and much less expensive than the area supermarkets. If you're in the snacky mood, there are plenty of options. The Cashier/Store clerk named Richard was very rude!! For one he speaks to customers very rudely and another thing is I was standing in line seeing him not ID certain people but decided to ID and hassle a group of people that had some (POC) with them...It seemed very odd and unprofessional to not ID or hassle certain people by race or color. I can't believe I witnessed this in 2022. He also told that group of people if you don't have an ID to leave the store which you can't technically do especially stating that person who was buying was well over 21 the whole group were clearly older than 21. They have a lot of wine and cocktail mixers and accessories! They even have gift bags in the store for you! So they did not provide me a receipt when I made my purchase last night and when I called in the next day, an employee by the name of Hayden told me that they won't be able to get me a copy of my receipt which I need it for my expense report and I could not find my coupon last night and found it this morning and they would not try to give me a price adjustment and I told them that I wanted to return all of my unopened items due to this horrible customer service and they told me well its unfortunate that we can not provide you a copy of your receipt to complete the return transaction. So I called the Arden location and the assistant manager informed me that Hayden was fabricating his story about not being able to provide me a copy of my receipt!! This BevMo is my go-to place for all my post BeerFest cravings and pre-party stocking up. (Yes I know Total Wine has become a favorite for many but BevMo is 5 minutes from home.) This location seems to have a pretty good selection of beers from breweries found locally and all over the world. Usually if there is something we tried and liked at a local BeerFest we've been able to find it and more here after. One of my favorite recent finds is Crabbie's Ginger Beer. I'm really happy to see they carry this particular beer here as it tastes great alone or can be used for mixing. There is also a great wine selection and you can't forget about their (sing it!) "5 cent wine sale." Prices on alcohol are good, especially when on sale. We often come here for a bottle of Red Stag cherry whiskey and a couple cases of variety pack and seasonal beers whenever we're headed out for a weekend of partying with friends. My boyfriend has even rented a keg from here once. If you need help finding something just ask. The staff here are helpful and can help make recommendations to fit your taste. There is always plenty of parking and lines here are usually pretty short. read more

We were first greeted VERY LOUDLY when we walked in, then were asked probably 5 or 6 times if we were finding everything okay by another three people while we were browsing. The lamest part of this trip was being asked by associate Aaron if we needed help with anything, then advising him that we were looking for sours. His enthusiasm level was high, his voice was loud, and he basically ran from aisle to aisle (twacked?), pointing out different bottles he claimed were sours. He did this twice- once for me and once for one of my companions. The second time he did it, I became a bit suspicious that there were really THAT many sours in stock, so I flittered over and looked at one of the bottles he pointed out. I would give them five stars but there are a few drink options here that are on the more expensive Side by comparative standards.. but for wine, no one can beat the 5-cent wine sale with the exception of online retailers. Bear in mind that all of the wines at the $10 price point are almost always gone when they have this sale, so prepare for your lesser expensive wine price points to look around the 12 or $13 range. Still an awesome deal! I love the fact that BevMo is your One-Stop alcohol shop, everything you need from mixers to snacks to drink ware is here. Special occasion? They've got champagne.. Great location for us Natomas-ans, and the prices are pretty reasonable for the different stuff. I wouldn't necessarily come here for the domestic stuff. I've ordered kegs here before and it was pretty easy. But if you need wine for a special occassion, set up a tasting with Paco. We did this for our wedding, and it was great! He seemed very knowledgeable, and with our variable menu he did the best he could to pair wines with it, but the wines were also good as stand alones. He even brought out goat cheese, salami, and crackers to clense our palate, and brought out an additional red that was corked and another white to try (probably because we weren't getting sparkling or champagne for our wedding). He spoke his wine-ese, but not snobby about it, and very easy to talk and joke with. Plus, its way better to schedule it and talk to him over the phone instead of online. Lots of things they offer so that I don't have to venture out too far for if I don't have to. Best part is the (Singing) FIVE CENT WINE SALE!!! I honestly love their 5 cent wine sale. It is definitely the time to restock. Everyone there seems to be very knowledgeable. Besides BevMo; there is also Total Wine which has an amazing selection of different types of alcohols. The great thing about BevMo is they will match the price of Total Wine with a penny cheaper. I went to BevMo today taking advantage of their 5cents wine sale when I realized the wine I want to serve for my wedding is one sale for $9.99. I immediately ask a sales rep regarding the deal and whether I can lock in the price. Sale rep, Bret was very helpful and provided a lot of useful information. Since I was not able to store 3 cases of wine at home, it is best to have BevMo do it for me. I order my 3 cases and the great thing is, Bret went ahead and check whether Total Wine has the wine for a cheaper price and indeed they do for $1 dollar cheaper. I end up getting the wine for $8.98. I was very happy with the deal. Of course we all wonder but what if the wine goes on sale cheaper than $8.98 between now and the date of the wedding. Well, BevMo guarantee that if the price is cheaper at a later time before the wedding, they will price match it and give me back the difference.
