I was on my way to the airport from Ilwaco and Googled restaurants, BevRidge Public had good reviews so I decided to stop in. As I approached the door and nice young man opened it for me which was a lovely way to start my dining experience. Then, I had a wonderful server, Dani. She was a true delight. I saw the Burger on the menu and was a little hesitant to try it since I'm from Chicago and we have a ton of burger options. There's a burger place in Chicago called Au Cheval which is all the rage. I have to say that the burger here rivaled that one. Highly recommend stopping in to grab a meal here. read more

I came to the food place based on my nail technician nearby. I decided to purchase for five different items so that I can taste the type of food that they prepare. I purchased the crabcakes, the steelhead salmon, the buffalo wings with mac & cheese, and the steak bites. Everything was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a fantastic seasoning added the crabcakes were the best I've ever put in my mouth. The mac & cheese is the best I've tasted in the Pacific Northwest. And steak bites were really good. I will definitely come here again, even if it was just for the food. The service was fantastic. We were addressed immediately upon entering the establishment. Our server was delightful and so was anyone and everyone who worked there who came by our table. The music was great. The food was great. I'm always looking for a great place to eat in Southwest Washington. I will definitely drive the 30 minutes to come here again. read more

My family and I have been to BevRidge numerous times and have always had good service and good food. Tonight was a much different story. We came in after a soccer game and knew we would likely need to wait for a table of 8. We waited out of the way as much as possible in the small entrance area. Our kids were calm, quiet, and in control. I was not happy when the hostess told us we needed to wait outside. We were the only ones told to wait outside, and we had also patiently been waiting the longest. If they had a heated patio for people to wait, great. To tell us to go stand out in the cold seems like poor service to me. I hope they come up with better solutions in the future because we really enjoy the restaurant. read more

So incredibly happy we finally tried this place and on my birthday! We had an AMAZING server, Dani, who was absolutely wonderful the whole dinner. The crab cakes were divine, the chicken sandwich was amazing, hubby loved his smash burger, my son loved his freshly breaded chicken nuggets and my friends loved their pasta dishes. Excellent service, cute location next to a darling bookstore. We love to come up here to grab lunch and books! We got the smash burger and the chicken strips to share. The smash burger was great and super flavorful. The chicken tenders were a bit iffy on chicken quality for me but I'm very picky about that. The ranch is a must have if you like ranch. It's excellent on the tenders and fries. I got a mocktail called the Honey Badger, which was delicious, but smaller than I wanted for the $8 price tag. Don't judge a book by its cover. A lot more hip & modern on the inside than I was expecting, considering the location, since it's in a perimeter strip mall for a grocery store, and located in Ridgefield, WA. Given the decor it would fit right in in Portland, or progressive downtown Vancouver, WA. Both the menu and the tap list are on the small side, with the food being mostly your typical pub fare, with a few upscale surprises such as seated steelhead with carrot purée & rice. We were disappointed the tap list had only about a dozen options, one of which was Coors Light (but hey, if that's what's done if their regular customer want enough to keep it on tap, then it makes sense). For our meal the Hubs had the Philly Grilled Cheese & fries, and I had the Cali Chicken sammie, but subbed in the gluten-free bun ($1.95 extra, harsh!) & side salad instead of fries ($2.95 extra, ouch!), so my meal alone was nearly $22 bucks. I decided to go back recently, and I have to say, the place has improved a lot. We had a good experience and was able to ask questions about the gluten-free items in the menu and felt that the staff was more knowledgeable on how to prevent cross-contamination in the kitchen. I had the pasta, and it was very good. Highly recommended. Also, I was able to try some of the other cocktails provided, and they were delicious. Had a great experience here today. The customer service was incredible. I was there alone with my dog and the hostess was extremely accommodating getting us seated on the patio. She let me go get him then got us seated, then offered to bring him treats and water. They'd already won me over and I hadn't even seen a menu! I ordered the chicken sandwich which was possibly the best one I've ever had. The batter on it was perfect. Great beer list as well. My waitress was the perfect amount of attentive. I like this Pub for the food and have been there many times. However, this last visit was disappointing because their beer menu is a bit confusing. They have some beers with the same name and so I accidentally order an IPA instead of a lager. When I asked for a replacement they made me pay for both beers. I think that this is very poor business. This place is really good! The servers were really friendly and it felt very genuine. We got the Thai peanut wings. Had a great time here! I definitely liked the vibe but I feel like they have a good ways to go. I don't expect them to be perfect, but it does seem a bit off. So much space, maybe add some ambience music? The service was not too bad. My wife and I saw the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign and there was nobody really hosting the first time we went. We sat down at the bar and continued with our dining experience. The waiter/bar tender did help out with our questions and was really nice. The quality of the food is not bad! It was really good, except that it was a little on the salty side. I know there are growing pains and I sure they figure it out! I got a Cubano burger which hit the spot, but was salty. The wings were delicious! So good, well cooked and flavorful. I had a hazy IPA (can't go wrong) and of course enjoyed it.
