Great place to live! Easy access to shopping and dining. The community itself is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are fun and always have community events happening every month! We started in their small two bedroom and upgraded to larger two bedroom and they both are clean and no pest issues. When it comes to maintenance, we don't have to be chasing them down to get the job done, they are quick to address any maintenance requests we have. read more

There are bad business practices here. I was charged $85 for damage to a window sill that was already damaged when I moved in. I marked the damage on the apartment inspection form. And don't you believe for one instance that they are going to fix the sill with that $85, they didn't for me. And why would they when they can just keep on ripping off everyone who moves into that unit for damage they didn't do? This place is also noisy, everyone has large breed dogs crammed into the tiny apartments that constantly bark. read more

As an update, the issues were resolved. Now that I've had to move away I miss this complex terribly. I miss stopping into the front office with my little girl for hot chocolate before walking to the nearby playground. No renewal of my lease and nothing they can do. Why even reply when there is no change in the situation?! So for not being at all a fan of Austin, and even less of a fan of the management I had met here over at a different property, I have to say iMT has exceeded my expectations. They are really great. The management is no nonsense, they mean what they say and enforce that, which I like, even if sometimes I get the correction end of the paddle, lol. Grounds and pool are kept in great order, but sometimes the shielded trash gets out of hand. Although that has nothing to do with them, they clean it up promptly, it has everything to do with the losers who move out and leave their crap behind. The parking is great, covered is really reasonable, and garages are available, with a little wait. Any maintenance is prompt and very sweet., they will always go the extra mile for you...even if it's a weekend when they don't have to. Couldn't ask for more. Neighbors are all pretty cool, they do a good job of screening tenants...although even the nicest are dumb when they can't figure out how to use one of two dog parks onsite, or how to push a button on a trash compactor. But maybe that's just my dislike of Austinites lack of thinking in general. Only drawbacks, the units are very small and a bit high priced for their size, with not a lot of sound proofing. That can prove to be a challenge if you need much quiet time. The blinds on the doors are plastic, so unlike the metal ones, that big load of groceries you fumble through the door with, will break the blinds instead of just bending them out of shape to be fixed later. And there was a little extorting incident that cost me a few hundred!, which sucked. Not the on-property management or executive management in California, they actually stepped up, but the regional manager is a shady cheat...avoid her if you can so she won't extort you too. Even for a misunderstanding that turned in to a comedy of errors. Other than that, I can't say much is bad, especially for apartment living. They have made a great offer to renew our lease and we are absolutely considering it. If we do move, it will ONLY be for a larger floorplan, at a better price, that our furniture can fit in. Being an interior decorator by day, I'm pretty good at pulling off small spaces, this one just may not be able to work. But I would highly recommend iMT Anspderson Mill. read more

I recently moved to Austin with my boyfriend from out of state and initially we were having little success in finding an apartment. Many places were difficult to get any response from. Having viewed photos of many properties and their floor plans we eventually came across Bexley Anderson Mill. It looked like a great property. We expressed our interest in an apartment and recieved a quick response. The people in the leasing office were happy to help us out with any questions or concerns we had. They were very friendly and respectful to us. We applied for the apartment we wanted and were approved shortly after. Bexley kept in contact with us regularly from then on to help things go smoothly as possible. Since moving in they have been great with responding to maintenance work orders and anything else we have brought to their attention. I'm glad we found a place here at the Bexley Anderson Mill property. And I would recommend to anyone I know looking for a place in Austin area. read more

I would have given 5 stars, but you charged $20 in "damages" for stretched carpet. We moved into the complex for 4 months while we finished a major home remodel. We did get most of our deposit back, but I am a little frustrated that we have to pay for carpet that actually stretches. I've lived in MANY complexes during college and as a single adult, and I always get 100% of my deposit back since I know what to expect. Again, we only lived there for 4 months, and my husband and I are two adults over the age of 35 that don't exactly live wild lives (hey, so what). We also happen to know that the carpet is on the cheap side since we have been researching carpets for our own home and are not spending lots of money on carpet, just something decent and expected to last more than a year. It's only a meager $20 to us, but I worry about those college students or single-income families who sign longer leases and end up paying much more for something that should be attributed to "normal wear and tear". Overall, the apartments were nice for the location and price, and our dogs loved the parks! read more

This property has went WAY down since the new management took over. Before, you really felt that the management actually cared about it's residents, not the case any more. I went from loving living here and now I can't wait till my lease is up to move. The manager Erica is sarcastic and condescending and not very good at actual customer service. The staff just doesn't seem to care. The grounds are still nice, with the exception of the pool which always seems to be nasty. It's the staff that just really makes this place undesirable to live at anymore. read more

I moved in to Bexley in June of 2015. At first it seemed like a really nice garden style apartment. You do get quite a bit of value for the lower rent you pay out here. Obviously you are very far from the action (about 30 minute drive one way to get downtown), and the buildings are older. But they are nicely renovated and have all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a much more expensive place downtown. The fitness center is great, I never used the dog park but it looks nice, and ditto for the pool. Where things began to fall apart is when I started to interact with maintenance. I first suspected things weren't that well run when I put in a request for a simple light bulb change. This somehow required two visits. I'm not sure how it takes more than five minutes to successfully change a bulb but there you go. Then in November I noticed evidence of rodents in my apartment. Food gotten in to, crumbs scattered, property destroyed. I put in a request and the team came out to put mouse glue traps under my fridge and all the usual places. After several more incidents, I put in additional requests, which led to a few more ineffective glue traps being placed. Finally in January (2 months after original sighting) the rodents chewed through some things in my dishwasher, putting it out of commission for 3 weeks while they got a part on back order. At this point I finally went to the office and appealed directly to the assistant property manager. Things moved relatively quickly from then on with actually competent maintenance placing lethal traps in the attic (roof rats!) and offering to help me cover the cost of property destruction and peace of mind. Although, this was only after a somewhat protracted back and forth where they insisted they had acted appropriately. Since the lethal traps went in, I've had zero further incidents of rodent activity. tl;dr Very nice apartments for the price you pay, great amenities, nice location if you don't mind being in the 'burbs. If you have any serious maintenance issues however, be sure to go straight to management, do not leave it to the normal request process. read more

Make sure you understand the lease terms ( move-in/ move-out) thoroughly even though its a huge list . Lately the community has become a lot noiser ( dogs/late night loud talks at least in certain bldgs) . Also , the residents there don't care to clean up their dog mess in the campus. Was much nicer years back when we first moved in. Hope they able to restore it sooner. read more

I had an excellent 2 year stay at IMT, the staff is friendly, responsive and more than willing to help. There is plenty of parking and very good grounds to walk your dogs (although there is poop that unresponsible owners do not clean). They should implement pet dna testing to fine violaters, warnings and threats do not work. They do offer first floor apartments with gated yards, make sure you physically look at the yard you will be assigned, the initial yard I was assigned was about half the size but the same price. Also the yards vary from very good grass to majority dirt, expect to pay roughly $1.4 per indoor sq ft if you do choose to rent a unit with a yard. Big bonus is that they allow grills in the yards. read more

The staff is excellent! Everyone is so friendly and the environment is welcoming and inviting. Brittany Vires is one of the leasing consultants and she's outstanding! She is so sweet and it is very evident that she goes out of her way to please potential residents. The apartments are clean and appear perfect. I have absolutely no complaints about the apartments or the staff! They are even so dog friendly, it's almost as if they are leasing to the dog itself! My only complaint is that making a left turn out of the entrance onto Anderson Mill is difficult during traffic, as there is no traffic light. You might take that into consideration when leasing. If you go right toward Parmer, you're fine. read more

I have lived at Bexley Anderson Mill for about nine months now and it is the best apartment community I have ever lived at. I was moving from Denver (after spending most of my life in Texas) and had never seen the complex upon signing my lease, the staff in the office was very accommodating and understanding of all that a long-distance move entails. I arrived past midnight on my move in day and the office was nice enough to put a lock-box on my door so I had somewhere to sleep that night. My only complaint would have been the apartment, upon move-in, could have been cleaner. I complained about it, and the office had said they changed cleaning services and was recently aware of the problem. It wasn't a big deal to me, since I always clean really well when I move in anyways. After move-in, the complex has been great. They usually respond to maintenance calls within 2 days and notify me if for some reason they can't. There is not a problem with dogs running around off-leash or owners not picking up the dog poop. No more of a problem than other places, and much better than my last apartment community in Denver. My biggest complain is the Urban finishes that my unit has, but I understand they are working on renovating those units. The staff in the office is great! My favorite person there is Lauren, because she is so easy to talk to and really listens to my questions/concerns. Maly (transferred to a sister community) and Zach are also really nice, but I haven't interacted with them nearly as much. All the leasing staff are incredible really! The only reason I am leaving this property is because I had someone move in with me and needed a two-bedroom, luckily there was a good unit available at Bexley Whitestone that we were able to snag (I will really miss my yard though!). The transfer process was easy and painless too. I just hope I have as great of an experience at Whitestone as I have had at Anderson Mill. read more

I have been here about two months and I couldn't be happier. My fiancé and I were hesitant to move into an apartment complex after renting single family homes for the last few years. We like our own space where we have a bit of distance from our neighbors, which we felt may be compromised by living so close to others. The transition to apartment living has been incredibly smooth here. The place is silent with the exception of the occasional dog bark. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and maintenance has been prompt as well. The other folks I have met that live here also seem to enjoy it a lot. I'm now torn by IMT Anderson Mill. The grounds are great and very dog friendly, which is why I was drawn to the place. Concrete floors with a super small backyard? Worked fine for my price range at the time. new appliances, firepit, pool dog runs and play days. It was seemingly pretty great. My first 5 days there I went on their website on a Sunday, when the office was closed, and attempted to pay my first months rent. I stopped when the $25 'Convenience Fee' for credit card payment, was going to be charged. I wanted to talk with someone about other payment options. When I get home from work the next day there is a very threatening letter on my door that 'eviction process had begun and I had 30 days to move out.... ... For being a day late because I didn't want to pay their convenience fee. I chalked that up to them probably having a few bad tenants and this was their attempt to lay dominance and nip anything in the bud. Still pretty unethical, but lets move on. The year actually went smooth despite the thin floor if you are on bottom. It's like people walking around with lead weights on upstairs. We had AC units moisten the walls and leave floor stains on the ground and sheetrock inside, which turned to mold in the walls quickly. This was supposedly fixed pretty quickly with patchwork plaster jobs. If you do move in, don't leave any nice chairs on the patio. Security here is a joke and people walk off with whatever they feel like. Lets move on to the real reason I couldn't bring myself to go for that 3rd star. The sprinklers in said yard quit working. In Texas, that's a death sentence to grass in August. Then throw a dog into the mix, the grass is gone. Fine I'll eat the money on that one even though your sprinklers failed, but the part that really eats me up is they had the audacity to claim our apartment wasn't cleaned so they could milk us out of an extra couple hundred bucks in 'cleaning fees'. My wife and I stayed up all night long scrubbing toilets, counters, floors, baseboards (Yes even the baseboards that they never cleaned up from their leaky moldy AC unit bust) and scrubbed and shined everything.. Spackled walls for nail holes and shined the glass and mirrors. Back yard grass replanting and cleaning fees topped over $500 for an already spotless apartment!! Never again IMT. I will steer everyone away from you and no recommendation to anyone that comes through my office. read more

I lived here for a year. I've lived in better places but I've also definitely lived in far worse places. Pros: the fenced in backyards convinced me to move in and my dogs LOVED being able to sunbathe and hang out outside. I often sipped a glass of wine out back while they played - a nice way to end the day. The dog park in the center of the complex is really large, well lit at night and both the dogs and the people who frequent it are friendly. The fitness room is nice and well taken care of for the most part though it was frustrating when the treadmill was broken for WEEKS. You have access to the facilities (fitness room, computer room) almost around the clock, using your clicker to gain access after hours. I felt the rent was reasonable. The maintenance guys are nice and efficient WHEN requests are passed along to them. Cons: It's frustrating that owners don't do a better job of cleaning up after their dogs. Some areas get really gross. The parking is a pain - I almost never found a spot close to my building. There is only one area to drop off trash so if you live at the opposite end of the complex, it is a pain - people drive around with garbage bags on their cars or drive through the complex with gross, leaking bags of garbage hanging out their windows. I had really mixed experiences with the office. The property manager doesn't seem all that bright. Some of the individuals in the office are very helpful, others are decidedly less so. More than once I called to report necessary repairs multiple times but was roundly ignored. Given that the maintenance guys are really nice and helpful when you speak to them directly, I think the problem lies with the office and poor communication between the office and the staff. There also seems to be a lot of turnover in office staff so who knows what it's like to work there. Kids run around everywhere, which is fine with me - I understand that kids need to burn off energy and are bound to be loud, but sometimes it was disconcerting to see how little supervision they received. IMT seems pretty safe but with everything that goes on in the world... Overall it was a pretty good apartment experience as far as they go. My boyfriend and I recently moved into IMT after experiencing the most horrific apartment rental situation I could ever imagine. I was very concerned with all the 'small print' within a lease and reviews regarding IMT etc. Staff at a rental location is very important to me as this is going to be your home and you want to deal with people who are not only professional but friendly and welcoming. I also wanted somewhere I felt safe (as I did not in our previous complex) especially as I work mainly from home. IMT fit all these requirements and more! There are TWO dog parks within the complex, along with a park down the road for kids and to walk your dogs through. The large dog park is HUGE, bigger than I've ever seen made available to an apartment complex. The pool is gorgeous and well maintained. There is a walking path towards the back of the property which we are yet to venture, but hear only great things about. You can bring your dog into the office, etc. Yards are available, patios are such a nice size (even if you don't have a yard). The layout of the apartments are very open. Appliances are new and work amazing. The people who live here are great. The office staff are SO helpful and kind. The manager is a gem and sincerely cares about all her residents. We have been here going on a month now and any issues we have had have been fixed within 48 hours (very small things that I feel are usual to have some issues with when you first move in/with time simply need replaced). Our neighbors are friendly and helpful. The dogs here are all well loved and behaved. The area is safe and the property is always clean. We finally feel at home in Austin thanks to IMT! read more

DO NOT move here. Walls are thin, windows even worse! you can hear everything! it sounds like you have the windows open. You can hear people, music, dogs, babies, people walking A/C units running, clothes washers running. Hard to get a good night's sleep. It is never quiet! storage space a problem, the shower head is for someone 7ft. tall. the water spout in both kitchen and bathroom sinks are single. there is not individual hot and cold knobs, so you have to play around to find the right temp. I've had the staff argue about issues.  Love Dogs but sometimes poop smell issues. Revolving door with new staff. And if you like driving your car, with your garbage in your trunk, to the trash compactor, along with all these other issues, then move in. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Disrespectful staff. Basically mud walking through 70% of the grounds most of the year. They will bait you with a nice apartment, give you one that was not at all what you originally agreed to, then they act like they did you a favor (sounds more like false advertisement and theft through deception to me). If you have a dog forget it, one of our dogs was literally attacked by another dog that jumped it's fence and they did nothing about it. There's so many dogs at this place that our dogs were constantly anxious from unattended dogs in other yards constantly barking. Almost no one follows the leash rule and there is poop EVERYWHERE. They have about the dirtiest rental agreement you will EVER sign (have a decent lawyer look over your lease before you sign and they'll tell you these guys are con-artists). They tried to evict us/cancel our lease a few days after FULL payment of rent (on time) because we were out of town for a few weeks and our place wasn't "full enough" after one of their maintenance people entered our apartment without notifying us (illegal given the circumstances). Then instead of contacting us they contact our emergency contact saying we were "missing". The only thing missing was competent customer service and ethical business practice. Avoid this place or Weinstein Properties at all cost and go with a complex closer to Austin that won't try to treat you like Harvey Weinstein. read more

They are always willing to go above and beyond with any type of question or problem that may arise. The complex is very well kept and extremely pet-friendly. WHERE DO I START WITH HOW AWFUL THIS PLACE IS. 1. I never write reviews because I have never been so mad that I wanted to bash someone/something but there's a first time for everything. My first sign should have been that it took me calling 6 times for them to get back to us about being approved they had just "forgot" to let us know. Well we moved in and my roommates shower did not work and neither did our dryer- it took 6 days and me yelling to get them here to fix it. My A/C has broken 4 times ITS TEXAS AND IM PREGNANT so this is outrageous. They refuse to replace it and I had to start making all my maintenance calls emergencies so they would actually show up. To this day I just have my dad fix everything so I know it's fixed. My roommates shower still doesn't have hot water and all the appliances are barely hanging on, we have to run the dish washer, washing machine, and dryer multiple times for anything to be clean or dry. Next let's get to the staff- the lose EVERY SINGLE PAPER WORK that you hand them. Take pictures of you handing them the papers because they lie about it. We added my boyfriend to the lease TWO times because they kept losing his application. They refuse to give him his packages that are mailed here because they keep losing it and claiming he's not a resident. It's been 3 months and 2 applications and approvals, I think it's time to accept he's a resident. There's been 3 separate months I've paid rent and they have called to tell me I owe rent because it did not save in their system yet the money was taken and I got a confirmation email- sent them the email and they were annoyed with me for having proof. They have 1 dumpster in the entire complex and it's on the opposite side of the complex in a field and you are responsible for taking every bag of trash out their to throw it away and they will fine you in a heart beat if you set it on your porch for a few hours to get it out of the house before walking across the complex to throw it away. Super inconvenient and they don't care at all. We've had 3 different managers since I have been here- which is a total of 5 months. I hope you don't expect them to take responsibility for anything either, because you'll be disappointed. WORSE PLACE TO EVER LIVE and I never will live here again and recommend you spare yourself the stress. read more
