We interviewed 4 or 5 roofers to replace our composite shingle roof in Chevy Case, MD. The original portion of our home is 100 years old with a modern addition attached. We were first introduced to Beyond Exteriors a few years back when USAA sent them to us to replace our ceiling due to a water leak. Fast forward to 2018, our roof had considerable amount of damage due to the 2018 March windstorm. The first person I called was Beyond Exteriors to fix my roof. They showed up today and found a lot more exterior water damage..keep in mind that my house is over 80 years old so I wasn't shocked. Just wanted to update that my leak has been successfully fixed! I got a new roof (unrelated) and Andrew suggested replacing the sliding door before we go so far as replacing the siding. The roof looks great (and was done in one day!). Andrew/Megan also helped me get any paperwork the insurance company requested. The sliding door was installed awhile back. The workers were on time, polite, and quick and cleaned up after themselves great. However, no one had delivered the lock for the sliding door. The team put in a block of wood to secure the door and George called and came by on a Saturday to install the lock. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Thanks. read more

I called Beyond Exteriors for an estimate based on the great reviews on Yelp, and I am so glad I did! I have had ok experiences with contractors, and I have had terrible experiences. But I have never had an experience that I would classify as great - until today! I am in the process of selling my house so wanted to address any issues without spending a ton of money. (I have had water leaking into my second-floor bedroom on 4 or 5 occasions over an 8 period, so there's a problem, but not a real obvious one.) Beyond Exteriors was able to send someone out within two days for an estimate. George went up to survey the situation. He took several photos with a digital camera, and then took the time to thoroughly explain what he saw. He recommended improvements that I could make if I was planning on staying several more years, but he was also very clear on the repair he felt was needed to address my problem. He told me that they could come back out to do the work, but also emphasized that it was a repair I could easily do myself (and explained how). We needed to have our roof replaced because of its age. I asked Andrew to give us an estimate, and he came as promised, gave us a very reasonable price for roofing and insulation, and helped us decide what we needed. I wish I could give these guys 6 stars!! Professionalism at its best - They are as good as it gets. We had a leak in our Townhouse roof that we let another company repair, and almost 1 k later, we were left with a botch job, AND a leaky roof. I scoured the net, asked my social network for recommendations and was led to BE. Within 24 hours, my inquiry was addressed, and George came to home, inspected the roof, and sat down with me for almost an hr and explained the entire process !! He gave me diagrams and showed me pictures that he took of the existing area for the leak, and he reviewed a detailed process of how the roof should be repaired (using rubberized material or metal). His price quote was VERY REASONABLE and it was guaranteed for a year! I immediately signed them on, and my roof repair required the perfect outdoor temperature ( to ensure rubberized material would hold), and I was KEPT INFORMED ON A DAILY BASIS as to whether the repair could take place on that day or not. Within a short week, we were able to get the repair done. The repair crew showed up on time, completed the job with accuracy, and completed the interior dry wall / paint repair ( since leak came into our Master BR) with precision. The gutters NEVER worked properly, and the installation damaged my roof by loosening the tiles and causing them to fall off. In addition, I paid to have mesh screens installed to prevent clogging, but they did not work either and the gutters clogged, I asked the company TWICE to resolve the issue, but they told me that I must REMOVE the screens twice a year to clean the gutters . Problem is that the scress are NAILED INTO THE GUTTERS! REALLY? I'm supposed to remove NAILED-IN screens twice a year?? I must now pay a legitimate company thousands of dollars to install new gutters AND to repair my roof. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY ITS WORK!! read more

We used Beyond Exteriors last week for full gutter replacement on our home, including screen covers, downspouts and replacement of some fascia boards that had rotted. The person who came to do the quote was very professional and talked to me about the benefits of both screen covers versus full cover gutters without pushing the upsell on the full covers.The work was done promptly and perfectly, and the price was very reasonable. I had previously obtained two other quotes after calling multiple vendors. Some never even bothered to return calls.. One quoted a price over $1000 higher for the same job and another quote I got through a Costco vendor was an outrageous $7000 higher for the same job with covered gutters. I have worked with this extraordinary company since 2012. Back in 2012, they replaced my roof and my siding. The entire process was seamless and I appreciated the communication and follow up that George provided. I interviewed several companies and decided that this was the best fit and price for my budget, and I was correct in my choice to go with BE. Fast forward March 2018 and part of a soffit had to be fixed due to the terrible wind storm that wiped out a lot of fences in my neighborhood.
