Beyond Exteriors helped to remove the existing concrete and stones, added proper slope, replaced with water proof Duradek, re-attached the gutter with proper flashing. Solved water leaking problem for good! From beginning to end, the company demonstrated their excellent customer service and professionalism with superior expertise. In office Linda is super friendly and efficient, always follow through with calls and timely appointments. Estimator Andrew is very knowledgeable, explained the problem and present the solutions with clear pictures. Andrew is very responsive to follow up questions regarding the proposal, always answer my questions within 24 hours, compare to other companies I have to wait for days to receive email response. My project manager George is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the subject! He clearly communicated the process, challenges and expectation with me. Patiently answered my questions and concerns. Working with George is like having a good education process, not only got the problem solved, but also learned quite a bit on the subject. The process took three weeks due to heavy rains, at the end of each day the workers cleaned up the work area; if forecast rain the next day, they wrap up the balcony with tarp really well. When project completed they did a very good clean up as if they never been here. And it's worth to mention that with the record heavy rain in July, there is not a drop of water leaked from the balconies! Working with Beyond Exteriors is truly a five-star experience! There is a reason why so many reviewers have so many nice things to say about this company. They are truly deserving. We found them through Yelp... and they have lived up to the high expectations. We worked with George on a leak that was coming from the roof all the way down to the basement. He came by and spent over an hour probing the causes and answering all our questions and was open about all possible options that we were dealing with. His knowledge and experience in the field was very evident and reassuring - particularly after we had previously dealt with two other companies on the same issue. By that evening, he prepared and sent us detailed estimates. Scheduling for the job was painless despite it being a busy period for them after some storms had come through the area. The job was completed as planned and the crew cleaned up all the debris. That very same afternoon, they called to confirm that the job had been completed and George scheduled to come by to speak with us about the job. In addition, Megan was very responsive and courteous and would always call to confirm an appointment or advise when they were running late. Something that stands out about our experience with Beyond Exteriors is that they bring back the customer service of old. I couldn't have been happier with the responsiveness, professionalism, and work of Andrew and Beyond Exteriors. After reading reviews on-line I called them and was pleasantly surprised when I got a real person on the line. Andrew came out to assess some storm damage to my roof the same day that I called. He took lots of pictures of the damaged shingles and other areas of concern including debris filled gutters. Within a day I had a reasonable quote that outlined each area to be repaired and the associated photos. The repairs were completed within a week of signing the contract. By the time they were done with the roof, I couldn't even tell they had been there - they left no debris or trash anywhere around the property. Within a day or so of completing the project I received more photos of the finished product. I don't know how Andrew found time to send me photos when he is out working on houses all day long. We found that we had a wet patch on the ceiling of our closet and decided to call Beyond Exteriors after seeing their great reviews on Yelp. From the very first call working with Beyond Exteriors has been a pleasant experience. They called to confirm the appointment the day before. Then, John Campbell called on the scheduled day to find out whether it was possible for him to stop by earlier, which it was. Once at the house he handled things in a very professional and friendly manner. He first had a look in our attic and then went up on the roof to check for any leaks/damage. After looking in the attic, he had already said that the water stain was possibly from the open vent. He confirmed it when he went up onto the roof and saw no damage. As I did not have any work done I cannot comment on the quality; however, I can say all in all it was a good experience. I appreciated the honesty and the way he went about his work. I have been a homeowner, having owned several homes over the past forty years and I have never had a better experience with a company I've called upon to make repairs. After our severe rain storms in April I realized the hard way that it was time to repalce our old 5" gutters with new larger ones. I can't say enough about George Simmons, owner of the company, and his responsiveness to my every question and concern. George went above and beyond to find an exact color match and guided me on my choice of size and options. The job was completed even sooner than promised and the workers were extremely neat and efficient. I have yet to find a stray scrap of metal or nail. We first worked with Beyond Exteriors (BE) when we were looking for a company to repair woodpecker damage on our house. We were impressed with the no pressure expert consultation, followed by a detailed professional proposal including computer generated graphics, outlining the areas to be worked on. Belinda, in charge of scheduling, did a wonderful job keeping us updated if there were any changes. When it was time to replace our roof, we had no reservations to work with BE again. George provided us with options in reference to replacement shingles and how best replace existing skylights without adding major cost to the project. He also prepared us for possible subbase damage, which can, in some cases, only be detected after the old shingles have been removed. Roof installation went smoothly and the crew cleaned up after themselves before they left the premises. George did a final inspection a few days after completion of the project. Excellent experience dealing with Beyond Exteriors. Very professional, quick to respond out to provide estimate, and were able to come out the following week to do the job. They installed new gutters and downspouts, and repaired fascia for me, and did a wonderful job. I've had contractors do work at my house, and some are good with clean-up while others aren't. Aside from the fact that I had new gutters etc installed, I couldn't even tell that the installers had been to my house b/c they didn't leave any debris behind. Also, great customer service. I rec'd a call the day prior to confirm installation, then a call afterward to follow-up. Very professional. Installers showed up on time on the day promised. I know I'll need a new roof eventually, so I'm definitely going to call them again. I am in California. The house being sold is in Virginia. The inspector for the buyers found a small leak where the furnace flue penetrated the roof. I called Andrew of Beyond Exteriors after doing some internet research, which is not my preferred method of finding good contractors. I have changed my mind! Andrew at Beyond Exteriors listened to my problem and said someone would go by to look at the roof. No service charge! When he called back (no, I did not have to call him) he told me what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. They did the work, the buyers were happy and I no longer have a spare house, so I'm happy. I contacted Beyond Exteriors to get an estimate for a potential roof replacement after reading great reviews on Yelp. I never regretted this. Though the roof replacement wasn't approved by the insurance, there was a roof issue that needed to be addressed. We were relocating temporarily to another state and needed the problem solved fast. Andrew was very responsive, prompt with a very reasonable estimate, didn't offer additional services that in reality were not needed. The repairs were finished in time to accommodate our schedule. Overall, the smoothest process I could ever imagine! Very satisfied! On top of everything, 2 days before leaving we discovered a separating caulking below one of our windows. I just had the great experience of Beyond Exteriors installing windows in my home. The installers were very quick and clean. It only took them about half a day to remove my old windows and install the new owns. The windows all look great! Customer service was also very helpful. When the installers went to install my bay window they realized that there was a minor defect on the inside of one pane of glass on the tint layer. They quickly replaced this with no problems.
