The storeroom is a nice place to shop, conveniently located in Proctor with ample free street parking in the area. We got a consultation in our home so that we could see the products in our space. The quote was given right away. The salesmen was very helpful and told us that the Hunter Douglas line is a lifetime type of purchase and therefore pricier than other options. Ultimately we chose a less expensive option but I think this store is worth a look, especially if you want something less common or have a more complicated situation.

They had a few issues with the process, but what blew me away was that every time I found a problem the owner immediately wrote me a check to cover the damage with no hesitation. Overall though it is a good product, it did a great job of sealing around all of the top and bottom plates, and I'm sure a bunch of other places I can't see. The aerobarrier got me down to 1.2 ach50, which surpassed my target. Their main guy was out of town, so they sent a less experienced tech. They ended up not taping off all of the plumbing penetrations, so we ended up getting sealant stuck in the dryer vent, b-vent, and a few other places. They either sent someone immediately to clean it up, or paid to replace the item when cleaning wasn't possible. They gave me an extra refund for the trouble. I wished I had the more experienced tech for the blower door, as this guy missed several things that would have improved the score. There was a window which was ajar, some plumbing penetrations which weren't taped off, and the HVAC duct work to the original house (which was square footage excluded from the test) needed to be taped off but wasn't. He also didn't know how to do a duct leakage test to the exterior (running duct leakage during blower door essentially). But I can't complain too much, as I still received a score which exceeded my expectations.

She was very responsive and emailed me all the details of who was coming to my house for the estimate. Jack came to our house and by this time we had 3 other folks come by. Jack was professional and told us what we needed to do baseline and what he recommended. He worked within our budget and needs and was amazing to work with. Day of install Jack, Joe and True came to the house and started work. All great and friendly. Did all the work needed in one day. Would highly recommend the fine folks at QNorthwest!

Patricia responded in a very timely manner to my inquiry, and had Jack scheduled to come out for an estimate pretty quickly. Jack was prompt, to the minute, the day of our scheduled estimate - that speaks volumes because contractors typically give you a large timeframe of their arrival, and you end up waiting around for hours wondering when they would show up. Jack is super personable and gave his professional opinion on the camera/light installation we wanted done around the outside of our house. When we got our first quote, we did go back and forth via email a few times to finalize the scope of the work we wanted done for the budget we had. When we came to an agreement, a day and time was scheduled for Jack to come out with a colleague. When that day came, Seattle had a snow day with icy roads, and therefore Jack wasn't able to come at the scheduled 8am time. Patricia attempted reaching us very early in the morning to inform us of Jack's delay. When I didn't respond to her first few text messages to acknowledge the delay, she found another way to get a hold of my husband. To me, that is dedication and putting the customer first - she didn't want us to be waiting around wondering where Jack was. I consider that excellent customer service! The start time ended up only being a 2 hour delay, and Jack showed up promptly again. He and his colleague, True (sp?), completed the project within 2-3 hours. They went above and beyond, spending time to help us label our entire circuit breaker box. This was certainly not expected, but extremely appreciated! We would absolutely hire Qnorthwest/Jack again for any additional electrical work. The cost was reasonable but the work and experience was exceptional. Thank you!

    I wanted to outline a recent experience I had with Sean and Lee from Wipliance that I thought was…read moredefinitely worth recognizing. Over the past several years I've worked with them on the installation of an outdoor sound and video system as well as installation of outdoor shades for our upper and lower decks. They've done those jobs professionally and to a high level of quality, but you'd expect that working with a high end AV company. Recently while cleaning out an IT closet, we came across a number of items that were ordered on our behalf but ended up not being used during our installation. They had been sitting in our closet for the past four + years. Initially I was upset about why we had purchased these items if they weren't going to be used. During the course of the install parameters changed and I guess they became unnecessary. When I reached out to the company, even with the amount of time that had lapsed, they gave me full credit for these items and gave me my money back. Says alot about the company to me. These guys have earned my business with their good work, but keep it by doing the right thing.

No communication on what they were going to put in. We want to simply listen to music using our cellphones a remotes. They won't let you do that. You get on clunky controller that will work. The old system could be controlled by laptop tablet or phones.
