Ordered the Texas burger, and it was cooked nicely. Not saying it's the best burger I ever had, I feel like maybe if they seasoned the meat it would have been better.. the onions were caramelized to perfection! Overall I'd come back to try more of the menu.

Visiting the farmers market with my family today and I was craving a good burger per usual. I was nearby waiting for my daughters churro order at a nearby business when I decided to called in my order to Beyond The Butcher. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a coke. Walked over after a while to pay and pick up my meal. Staff was super personable and let me know my order would be ready in just another minute. Didn't take much longer and my meal was ready. Went to my table not far from where an open mic was happening. The burger patty was thick and glistening. I noticed and nice crisp to the bun from the griddle. The first bite into the burger was phenomenal. The bacon offered a great crisp texture to every bite. I can't believe it's taken me so long to come here. This place is definitely going to be a regular stop when craving a good burger. The fries definitely left something to be desired. Not very fresh tasting. The burger was like caviar while the fries were along the lines of canned tuna. The quality and flavor of the burger is just high that when you taste the fries they just bring you down a little. I'll opt for the Mac and cheese next time and give that a try on the side of the burger. Honestly it was super hard to not swing by and grab a burger to take home.

Inside the food courtish place across from the famous Dallas Farmers Market. 1 dude at the counter 1 dude taking the orders from the kitchen window and calling out the orders. A place that celebrate Farmers and our Great Military. My experience today wasn't great. Mostly related to how long it took to take my order and get my food. I was only about 5th in line and it took a very long time and were a bit too chatty. I finally get to order and pretty sure my order got forgotten because I watched people come after and get their food. The guys right before me ate and left before I got my order. Finally the guy checked ok mine and he said 4 more minutes. Well it was definitely more like 10 additional. Which was at a total of 25-30 minutes. He offered me fries or drink, I'm like I just want my food. I did accept a bottle of water. So the rest of my crew had already eaten and was ready to leave. Wouldn't have been so bad but the Philly was not overly hot and the green peppers were not grilled enough. Tasted good and good quality meet, just not in the top 10 that I've had. The Mac & Cheese was good and the Brussels were cooked perfectly and good flavor profile. Unfortunately not something worth waiting 25-30 minutes for

We walked in Dallas farmer's market for dinner around 6pm on a Monday evening. Most of shops were closed. The server at Beyond the Butcher smiled and waved at us. So we decided to try their burger. We ordered Texas burger and Texas Philly. Both were huge, juicy, and full of flavor with perfect seasoning. We were very happy with our meal!

Food is great. Lamb brat was kind of dry though however, the au jus was freaking delicious. Could probably drink a gallon of that without breathing. Service was friendly, fast, and spot on. Other people must have just caught them on a bad day. The vibe is chill. It's in a cafeteria type setting but it's nice nonetheless. They have about 6 chairs at the bar and 2 high stop tables with 2 stools each. I'd come again for sure. Thanks Beyond the Butcher!

Terrible customer service. I waited 20 minutes for a child peanut butter jelly sandwich. I had to ask twice for it because after waiting twenty minutes, they gave it to me with no peanut butter in it. The two girls at the front just stood their with their backs to customers drinking their iced coffees. My brat never came.... I cancelled it. The PB and J was cold sliced bread. No PB. Lol

Highly, highly, highly recommend you try this place! Very flavorful and fresh tasting. The service was also great. They offer beer on tap if you prefer a drink or two with your meal. Once again this place is a must!

Great potatoes and my wife said the burgers were delicious . The salad was too small according to my son in law. Other than that, good .

They added candles to the birthday cake that we brought in, which was very nice of them! Apps: Cheese Beignets and Zucchini Chips - both were tasty! The beignets were small and not too heavy. I enjoyed the herby sauce on the chips, but wished it was served on the side! Mains: English Pea & Potato Pierogi, Mac and Cheese, and Vegetable Pasta - they were very nice to make a vegetarian pasta dish for us, and it was delicious! The tomato sauce was flavorful. The Mac and Cheese was also perfectly cheesy and I enjoyed the garlic breadcrumbs. My favorite was the Pierogi -- savory potato's, sweet brown butter sauce, and fresh greens to balance it all out! Highly recommend!

The roll tasted fresh, but it is on the spicer side so don't order unless you can handle some heat. 9/10 ***Entrees:*** I got the Beverly salad and subbed my shrimp for seared ahi. My salad was fresh, bright and didn't leave me feeling heavy. 10/10 My cousin ordered the Maple Salmon. I believe the waitress said they now use gochujang sauce instead of maple. My cousin really enjoyed her meal and said she would definitely order it again. 10/10 The bachelorette ordered the steak frites, she ordered it to be cooked medium but it came out a bit more rare than she preferred. She still ate it as is and said it was tender and flavorful. 9/10 Lastly we ordered the lobster mac, this was sooooo good! The mac was runnier than I would like but the taste made up for it. I would order it again. 9.5/10

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

WILL NEVER BE BACK!…read more HATED. EVERY. MOMENT. OF. THIS. PISS. POOR. EXPERIENCE. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. VALET. NOT. FREE. I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K

Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

Features a compact bar with only 2 screens, which again is preferential versus something loaded to the gills with cheap TCL displays. Menu is simple and direct, with all of what you might expect from an upscale neighborhood bar & grill. The tuna tartare is excellent, but it's more of a dip almost than a traditional imagining. It has jalapeno, heaps of cilantro, and muddled avocado to tie it all together. Very fresh and pleasant. Pastrami sliders were also tasty, but I would venture to say they are a little too bready for an appetizer, but nicely done otherwise. My go to entree is of course either the hanger steak or filet with fries and semi traditional bistro sauce, can't go wrong there. I have only seen 2 deserts on the menu, but there might be some special appearances from time to time. The do not miss item there is the Basque cheesecake. Which is basically a cheese forwards cheesecake without a crust, and somewhat reduced sugar content versus it's American cousins. Very good, and served with a berry coulis. The only trespass I experienced was with the wine list. It's overall somewhat expensive for what's listed, and on my last visit two bottles I had ordered were out of stock. That being said there are good picks here from Premier Cru Chablis to Faust Cabernet Sauvignon.
