Food was good but service was terrible. It was almost like we weren't important enough to get additional drinks. The wait staff was often just hanging out talking with one another and basically ignoring the customers. Several times the channels in the TVs were changed, mid-game, and we had to ask for them to be put back since we were actually watching the game on those TVs... and had been since the start. Easily our favorite sports bar around.... the seating and screens are pretty standard but the food is above average... the artichoke dip is EASILY the best I have ever had in my life.... solid wings (something that is hard to find in Petaluma) and good fries etc. I usually get something fried and a salad and the salads are always pretty solid.... I've been coming here for years and the turkey burger and the sweet potatoes are the best items on the menu. Today I tried the 'BTG Protein Plate' which is a simple chicken breast with veggies. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. I've had their burgers, salads, appetizers and deserts. Their food is always tasty, consistent and good value. Went today during their soft opening- they have been closed for about 8 months and have been re-opened by an new owner. Pretty good, fries were great, Petaluma BLT was good but not great (could use some work) and the Cobb was on point. Chicken on Cobb was yummy, big salad with all the normal toppings. Blue cheese dressing was good (not to strong not sweet). They did not have their liquor license yet but owner who came and greeted us at our table said they would hopefully have it in the next week or so. I will be back. This place looks the same as it did before closing, menu was the the same too. Felt very familiar and warm like before. Lots of staff. Our server was a little "alouf" for being the first day open. My favorite go to place for good food, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. The speciality menus are delicious. I really enjoyed the Marti gras menu! The regular menu is always good too, I cant pass up opportunity to have lobster bisque. The best part is if you are looking for quite, later after noon around 2pm is perfect. But if are also looking for fun events and sports they have those too during different times of day and week. There is something for everyone. read more

Food is still great and it is still one of the places we go to often. I almost always get either a Chipotle Burger or Cobb salad. The service has improved - the terrible server seems to be gone. Looks like it would be a complete madhouse during a big game on a weekend night. Beats normal "pub grub". They have a fairly extensive menu with several healthy options. They are flexible with modifications so I often get prawns in lieu of chicken with wraps and such. BTG IS OPEN!!!! It isn't often that I write a review, but I have to write about this place. BTG is not closed, but is under new ownership/management. The new owners have paid special attention to keeping original BTG menu items and adding new. The food is delicious, with the buffalo style fried chicken salad being at the top of my favorites list. The cocktails (newly introducing specialty cocktails) are fantastic. I must give a special shout out to the double/top shelf margaritas (although not a specialty drink, it is made to perfection every time). If you are a sports fanatic, get there NOW! You won't miss a game on one of the many flat screens hanging on nearly every wall throughout the dining and bar areas! Go Giants .... Go BTG! Lastly, I want to compliment the staff. Starving, we had to find a place in Petaluma to eat...being a yelper, I wanted to try something different. This is a good place to see whatever you may be following on the sports front. Went at about 8:00 on a Saturday night with a small group just for some drinks and maybe some munchies. To our surprise they had entertainment - a 6-piece band. I believe the group was named The Fog. I understand they've played at other places in the area, including San Francisco. The band was great and put on some really good music: rock, classic rock, several blues styles, along with a couple of Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Kiss, Chuck Berry, songs. They had lots of people up dancing and whooping it up. Songs included Hey Bartender, I'm A King Bee, Magic Carpet Ride, and many others. So, i decided to come here for dinner again. About the same experience, great food, nice service, cool ambiance, except for one minor problem at the end of my visit. I was going to bring my leftovers home, and i wanted a bag to carry all of the boxes. So, when i asked the hostess for one, she said "OK I'll get you one" and just walked away. I went back to the table and decided to wait. After a little while of waiting, i decided to go ask her again. About the same answer, and she walked away again. It's not your typical generic sports bar food. I always enjoy my meals. The place is always very very clean and comfortable. It's a good place to bring the family and Beyond the Glory seems to attract a lot of the families from the neighborhood which I think is great. They have big screen TVs at just about every angle you might be facing and when I go on weekends, there is sometimes a group of fans from some out of town team, that gathered to route on their team. Last time a bunch of neighbors who were Saints fans were there. Go figure. Either way, they have this AWESOME veggie and humus plate with warm pita bread that is the best. Plenty of great beers on tap and a friendly group of servers and hostess on hand. All in all, great sports bar, great family eatery, great place for a good meal. Thumbs Up! Go Giants! read more

Upon safely walking into the restaurant on her own, she always looks forward to being greeted by her favorite hostess, Evan. I just booked our Casa Grande Freshmen Baseball end-of-season team dinner there and was able to book a reservation for 50 people with just a few days' notice. They accommodated us quickly and pleasantly. They also were able to do separate checks for each family. We also got all the boys from the team at one table and they matched us up with our kids to be on our checks and were right on top of it. Our food was great and we got to enjoy our time with the team, the coaches and the families, all while the Sharks game was on. Definitely recommend for large team parties. read more

I have been going here with my family for a few years. The food is always decent but the service is terrible. With this being the case, I normally order take out. Literally every order I have ordered to go has something wrong with it. Tonight I did not receive an entire kids order of pasta. My kids were very disappointed and I felt cheated because I was charged for the food. I called to speak with a manager. I spoke with a lady named Monica. I explained to her that I was a little frustrated that I consistently have issues with their food. As soon as I said that she immediately snapped at me with a horrible/rude attitude. I have never treated with such disrespect. Her response to the fact I did not get an entire of order of food was "I always check before I leave" and "Come back and get it then". I told her that I don't live close by and it is an inconvenience to have to drive back for food that I did not receive. She told me "Do you want me to fire my staff" and "What do expect? No one is perfect". I told her I would like to be credited for the food I purchased but did not receive. She claimed to be the owner but I do not believe her because she was so rude. I like the food from this place. We typically eat in the bar, but both the bar and restaurant have good service. My daughter often orders food to go, and it's never been wrong. Their grilled ahi salad is out of this world good! I was there twice in one week, and had it both times. My favorite burger is the 49er burger, but have it on a regular bun instead of sourdough.
