    Catfish fresh from the fryer

Step back in time! The building and decor are definitely not modern but the food is amazing. Not a big catfish eater but I went back for seconds! The boiled shrimp was perfect. They have this green tomato relish that tasted great! It's not fancy like an Applebees but if you're looking for a good ole fashioned fish fry this is the place! And don't forget about the peach cobbler and ice cream!!

This place is a fat boys wet dream. It's has all you can eat very good catfish and I mean. Catfish not that white fish most of these places call catfish. It also has very good steamed and fried shrimp. A decent salad bar that has all the country fellas type stuff on it from onion wedges green tomato relish and pickled okra. The coleslaw was a little sweet for my taste but over all it was good. The beans were some of the best beans I have ever had. And the dessert I'm just going to say home made vanilla ice cream and peach cobbler. I think that speaks for itself. It self serve in every thing. The place was packed but doesn't take long. I would recommend this place for all who loves the pure taste of cat fish and not the over breaded fish stick. I would give this place 5 stars but the only thing my belly wasn't big enough to get the dessert but the wife said it was great. Don't waste your time at others place this is where the wet dreams begin. After looking at some of the other reviews looks like the bad ones are from a bunch of city folks that doesn't know the country. Because this is a country cafe with good country cooking. We will be back often

This local place is good, really good. When we arrived, the parking lot was full--always a good sign. They only have a buffet. $15 a person. Personally, I don't like seafood but my husband says the shrimp and catfish are good. I found plenty to eat though with the chicken strips, hush puppies and corn fritters. The salad bar is kind of sad but salad is not why people come. While we were there, the people who work there were continually coming out to put fresh food out. The pans on the buffet were never empty. For me, the golden star of this meal and the reason I'd go back--the homemade peach cobbler and homemade ice cream--both incredibly delicious. It's very important to note their very limited days and hours of operation.

Overpriced and overrated. Not happy about my experience there. They food they had was decent but defiantly not for the price.

I don't really care for peach cobbler but the abundant amount of crust with a lower fruit content is the best.

It's a buffet..I'd argue the best buffet around! Not sure why the the poor reviews. The crab legs…read moreare always delicious and the prime rib is a major home run. Their fried chicken is seasoned and fried perfectly. Desserts are tasty. All around huge selection...they have something for everyone. Service is always great and the restaurant is clean! We really enjoyed our dinner this evening.

I was honestly concerned about trying this place out and skeptical about the quality of food that would be served after reading some of the existing reviews. Unfortunately I feel similarly about what many have already said. They take payment at the entrance and then take you to your table. The server brings and refills your soft drinks/tea/coffee (which are included in the price of the meal), and you grab a new plate each time you want to take a trip up to the buffet area like usual. The restaurant was definitely not occupied by many guests at all and it was during peak lunch hours. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about, and in fact a little dark and dim, making it somewhat sad. The buffet area is split into several different stations including salads and cold food items, soup, Asian, Italian, American, BBQ and meats, noodles, and dessert. Most of the areas were manned by an employee who would take your plate and fill it with whatever item you want. This is not a buffet where you help and serve yourself. While there is a decent variety of food offered, the quality of the items were very subpar, reminding me of buffet chains back in the day. The BBQ meats were dry and tough to chew through. The fried fish was overdone and barely flaky. The soups were bland and watery. Grilled and steamed vegetable items were undercooked and not very flavorful. You get the idea. The most memorable items I fairly enjoyed on my plate were mashed potatoes with gravy and fried tofu strips. Oh, and I noticed there were a lot of tiny mosquitos flying around The, especially hovering over the salad area. The dessert bar appeared to have a few sugar-free items good for those who have to be cautious or prefer a zero sugar option, and the regular desserts were A-OK. Cake slices were plated individually, ice cream sundaes are made to order, and cookies are put out so you can take it yourself. The sundae was actually pretty good and I was able to top it off with a few of my favorite things. The service was alright and our server kept our drinks filled and took dirty plates off the table in no time. The gratuity has already been paid with the meal upon entrance, so unless you want to tip more you can. All in all, it is not worth time or money unless you plan to stay at the casino to play for a long time and need something to keep your hunger pangs away, or if you're a member who has earned a free meal.
