So this week I've been on a Thai cuisine kick. I decided to check out this place for lunch since it got great ratings. Believe it or not, I had never tried Pad Thai before, so I thought I'd give it a go. I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived 15 minutes later, so bonus points for that! They are located in a sleepy strip mall - same area as the Salvation Army and Nory's Restaurant. There is plenty of parking available in the lot. They offer lunch specials for $7.95 that supposedly comes with rice, salad, soup and a main entree, but apparently if you get your food to go, you don't get the soup? I thought that was kind of lame. The portion size of the lunch was just right though. In terms of the taste, I had never had beef Pad Thai before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I just thought the dish was average. Nothing to write home about, and I probably wouldn't order it again. If you check in on Yelp, you can get a free Thai Iced Tea, so I got one. It was just okay. There was a lot of crushed ice and very little drink. The service was just average as well. There was only one girl (or so it appeared) running around doing everything - handling the to-go orders, seating the guests, etc. She seemed a little stressed, but was able to handle it alright. The restaurant had about 5 tables occupied when I arrived around 11:30am. Overall, I'd give this place 3 stars, which means it was just average to me. Nothing really stood out. The one good thing is the lunch special prices - that is quite a deal! I would probably try other Thai restaurants first before returning here again. read more

My family has been going to this resturant since just after it opened and we have always been delighted. We want this wonderful business to succeed in this trying time! Because of Covid-19, we have been very afraid to buy food not prepared in our own kitchen, we have a high risk person in our household. For anyone who is really scared to order food in these uncertain times like we are, curry is a very safe thing to have delivered. You can 100% guarantee your food safety by following these steps. The delivery person dropped our order near the door (thank you!), after he left, 2 of us went outside, one person opened the packaging and poured the curry into a pot that the other person is holding. We threw the packaging away outside immediately. The person holding the pot then opened the door, the person who handled the packaging thoroughly washes their hands before touching anything. The person with the pot puts the curry to simmered on our stove for 2 or 3 minutes to make sure it reaches 140°. We love the curry here, but I'm sure there are ways to heat other dishes on their menu to 140° to guarantee you will have peace of mind. I've explored quite a few Thai restaurants in South OC, but I must say, this place stands out as the best in my book. Even though I've only ordered food for pickup or through Uber Eats, it has quickly become my go-to Thai spot in South County, a weekly tradition. Decided to try a new Thai place, and placed an order via Door Dash. We ordered their Thai beef salad, BBQ chicken, pad see ew, and bbq pork fried rice. The only thing we wouldn't get again is the BBQ chicken - it was really dry. But almost every Thai place seems to overcook this dish. Everything else was delicious, with my favorite being the beef salad - but the "spicy" is really spicy! My mouth was on fire! But it was sooo good and worth it. While we did really enjoy the service here, both of our soups were lacking flavor and we're really not worth the almost $10 per bowl. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is brought out very quickly, hot and fresh. Not a huge fan of the fried wonton app either, not much in terms of filling, very much like fried paper. They have a huge menu selection and seeing as they were busy the entire time, I am assuming there are much better menu items here than the soup. Was looking for a new Thai spot for lunch during workdays and I can confidently say this place will be my new go to! Parking - pretty easy to find even during lunch, there's quite a large parking lot. Service - great! I made phone orders both times and they had it ready within their estimated time. They're very friendly and professional! Food - I tried the Pad Thai with Chicken and Pad Kee Mao with chicken. Priced relatively the same to other Thai spots ($11.95 each) but you get a decently large amount of food. My favorite was the Pad Thai. Though this spot isn't my favorite for pad thai, they do a great job here so the food hits the spot. This dish comes topped with bean sprouts and crushed peanuts. The noodles had enough sauce without being too soggy. There's also plenty of chicken included!! I asked for lime and red pepper powder on the side to give it more zing. I liked the Pad Kee Mao, but I've definitely had better. It wasn't as savory as I was hoping (like it needed more soy sauce or something) but still good nonetheless. Probably will try something else next time. I did also get to try a little bit of my friend's Pad See Ewe and that was very flavorful and well cooked!! Delicious!! Wow, I've always ordered to-go from this place during my busy seasons at work, and I finally got to actually eat at the restaurant for the first time last weekend. This place is legit, and I can vouch for both their to-go food and dine-in food. Biggest tip: if you don't order the Pad Thai, you are missing possibly the best Pad Thai you may ever eat (besides being in Thailand). My boyfriend and I ordered the Pad Thai, and although I'm not a fan of Pad Thai's in general, they did such a great job with this dish and kept me wanting to eat more of it. It's freaking delicious. We normally order green curry at Thai restaurants, and this place's was just average. I knocked off a star because the green curry ended up being a disappointment simply because it was bland and watery. It was unexpected to see such a big difference between the strong flavors in the Pad Thai and the bland and almost flavorless flavors of the green curry. I don't mind it so much because I like things on the less-salty side, but my boyfriend didn't want to eat any more than maybe 6 bites of it. We also ordered a bowl of Tom Yum, and helped to offset the green curry. The bowl was fragrant, flavorful, and just the right amount of lemongrass without being too sour. We finished the bowl between the both of us, and it was the perfect amount. I would definitely order it again, and it was such a pleasant surprise how delicious it was. The waitress was really nice and continued to check up on us. It was almost a full-house when we came in, and yet the waitresses took care of everyone there. I had dinner here tonight and it was definitely not crowded(maybe 3-4 tables). The service was pleasant, the food was meh: -Wonton soup: since so many helpers raves about this soup I had to order it. I mean wonton soup isn't exactly a Thai dish, but hey, it's worth a try if most liked it. Okay, it was pretty good. A 3.5/5 -Panang curry with chicken: nothing spectacular so not memorable for me 3/5 -Kee Mao Noodle: small portion for the price but tastes the best out of all the dishes we ordered. This dish reminds me of pad see eew but has more spice and a kick to the palate. 4/5 -Duck noodle soup: the soup was too gamy(?) and the Duck aroma was too pungent for me. Wow- really really good, hit all the key requirements for our family, save one minor one. Excellent flavors in each dish, excellent portion sizes, no grisle in the chicken for my wife, very friendly service, and all below $10 per meal- my kind of place. Oh yeah, and they serve coconut ice cream to cap things off. Only minor miss is the heat levels were a little weak- asked for extreme heat in my son's Tom Yum and it was maybe a 5 or 6. This has been a fairly common experience for us as most restaurants are hesitant to give him the heat he wants, but we will DEFINITELY be back here and as we get to know the staff I'm sure they'll get it right. I was happily stuffed! I had delicious Thai food delivered to my work that practically put me in a fatty food coma shortly after I walked back in my office. I have a bad habit of eating and working at my desk but for this, I made myself sit at a table and eat. Good thing I did cause I was able to truly enjoy the dishes. That first taste of their chicken panang curry brought me back to my old neighborhood Thai spot. The curry was rich and full of amazing spices. The sweetness was just the right amount. It was filled with plenty of protein and bell peppers. I also ordered the tom yum soup and chicken larb. No, I didn't finish it all! But it was good enough to. Both were way above average and all were definitely worthy of ordering again. Great Thai food, second only to Thai House Café in Prescott, Arizona. They have the best Tom Kha soup I've ever had. You could really taste the coconut milk that they use to make this stuff. Second time here, but couldn't remember the first time because nothing stood out to me. We ordered chicken pad Thai, fish cake, Panang curry, and yum won sen salad. The fish cake was the highlight! It came out piping hot and full of flavor. The pad Thai was the least favorite since it had a smoky flavor like the pan was too hot and the sauce burnt a bit. The yum soon sen salad had good spice and acidity, but the large pieces of lettuce had no flavor and was hard to eat. I spent most of the time separating it from the noodle. The chicken in all our dishes was the dry chicken breast meat which was hard for everyone to eat. I'd recommend opting for any other protein than the chicken. Overall the experience was enjoyable. Been here a couple of times and the experiences were similar. The dinning room is clean and neat. And we were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. When we came for lunch the service was very fast; dinner was a bit slower but just as polite and attentive. This time we got the chicken spicy eggplant, chicken thai fried rice, and a bowl of chicken tom yum soup. Everything tasted quite good. A cup of soup is enough to share with someone. This is the BEST thai food spot in all of southern orange county everyone. They offer authentic thai dishes and flavors, tastes homemade and is never greasy or oily.
