Stopped here for lunch today. It's a dimly lit restaurant. The food was excellent, well satisfied. Everything tasted homemade and was flavorful. The service was fast and easy. Will come back here again to try their other dishes.

Was looking for a Thai place while in a nearby city and found this resto while browsing through Yelp. I came at a time when I was the only customer inside since it was early. Food is good. Service is great. Server was attentive, observant, and was kind enough to show me how he made Vietnamese coffee when I was curious how it was done. He was also accommodating when he offered to have my food adjusted in the kitchen when it was not spicy enough for me. He also asked if I needed another plate, which I politely refused, when he saw me slicing all of my food into smaller pieces first before eating them. The place is festively decorated, one could see a variety and abundance of Asian decor. It has a down-to-earth yet very warm and welcoming vibe. Food ratings: Tom Yung: 4/5 Rad Nah: 4/5 It could do with a bit more broccoli in it. Spicy Egglant: 3/5 Vietnamese Coffee: 3/5

This place was highly recommended by a friend and it did not dissappoint. Came on a Friday for lunch and was able to be seated quickly. Love that they were able to accomodate my food allergy.Waiter was awesome and always checked on us. We ordered a few items to try Lao's style papaya salad, chicken larb, boat noodle, lao sausage (my fave flavor was good and it was crispy),chicken yellow curry and sticky rice.We got medium spice and just be warned they are SPICY, if you don't like spice try mild first. Love to comeback and try otherdishes.

A friend recommended this because I was craving boat noodles, and I'm so glad she did, because now I have my go-to boat noodle fix! The interior was nice and well-kept. I love the very unique designs. Employees are attentive and nice. Our waters were always filled, frequently asking us if we needed anything, and they always had a smile on their faces. Boat Noodles was 9/10 - love everything about it, and the spiciness was just right for us, and I love the hint of sweetness, it complements the dish even more. Chicken wings 7/10 - a little bit dry, the seasoning was OK, and the sauce that came with it helped a lot! Overall, I am satisfied with the food and will come back here.

Vacaville has a solid variety of Thai food options, and this place definitely stands out. It's a great spot for a relaxed family sit-down meal, with plenty of parking and a welcoming ambiance inside. The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our visit. The soup was hearty and flavorful, and the spice levels were perfectly balanced across the dishes. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely come back again.

This Thai Lao combo restaurant offers the usual Thai menu and Lao dish that I'm unfamiliar with. We started with the fresh spring roll appetizer, which came with our entrees. Then the pumpkin/eggplant entree but wasn't pumpkin, was squash. The chicken was scarce, barely enough for two people to have three each bite size pieces. Since we weren't familiar with Lao cuisine, I asked the server for a Lao noodle dish. He pointed to the menu on the wall and suggested tom koa poon, which tastes like a papaya salad with thin rice noodles. I expected a stir-fry noodle dish, so I learned for future to ask for more details. After this party of six left, we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. I observed two or three to-go orders during our dinner. There was only one server who bussed tables and also handled the cash register. It's surprising they sell Cafe de Monde coffee. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3.5. And I'm not sure I'd return.

Great little Thai spot. Well decorated, tables are adequately spaced apart and the soft music made for a nice relaxing lunch. It was cold and rainy out so I came for pho but enjoyed with the boat noodle soup. Medium spice was strong enough to clear my sinuses but mild enough to still taste the beef and vegetables in the soup. The server was attentive but not intrusive. 10/10 Will eat here again.

Bhan Thai Lao Kitchen is a great find in Vacaville. This place has a cozy, welcoming vibe, plenty of parking, and kind of an authentic feel. We started with the chicken satay, paired with an amazing peanut sauce. This was my favorite! The chicken tasted great and the peanut sauce is amazing! For the mains, we went with the chicken pad kee mao and beef sweet Thai basil. The pad kee mao is a little on the sweeter side but still really tasty, and the beef basil was flavorful with a little spice, lived this dish as well. Our server was friendly enjoyed the help ordering. I wouldn't mind coming back the next time im in Vacaville.

I am always looking for Lao and or Lao Thai restaurants. I am always curious to see what traditional dishes are available on the menu. While in Vacaville I discovered Bhan Thai Lao Kitchen, a little ways from the shopping center but easy to find and plenty of parking. The restaurant was decorated with traditional Thai and Lao items, which I thought was cute and has that authentic feel. We started with the chicken satay as an appetizer and for our mains we chose the chicken pad kee mao and beef sweet Thai basil. I was torn between the drunken noodles and the pad kee mao. I was warned that the pad kee mao is on the sweeter side and yes indeed it was. Savory and sweet. The beef sweet Thai basil had lots of flavor and a tad spicy. There were so many different dishes on the menu that I wanted to try and I'll save that for next time. The service was friendly and fast.

    Khao Poon!

Food: 100/10! food was incredible. Ordered Lao style papaya salad, khao poon, beef larb, boat noodle, stir fry sweet basil. Everything was flavorful and spicy! Service: 10/10, Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, food came out super fast and we ordered a lot for 7 people :) Ambiance: 10/10. It was empty before we had got there. but it's very nice, clean and spacious. Plus, the decor highlighted the Thai/Lao culture beautifully! Overall, I think this restaurant is my favorite for Lao style food. I live in Oakland and this beats my fave thai restaurant in my city which is saying ALOT! Soo good! Will be coming back!

MAR2024 Ordered food for pickup. Everything was done quickly. The restaurant is in a small shopping area so there weren't any issues finding parking and the such. I had ordered the veggie soup with tofu, Beverly Thai mixed vegetables, and the cucumber salad. The mixed vegetables were cooked well, but the sauce didn't really pop for me. It had good flavor but wasn't cooked throughout the dish. The veggie soup also a little plain, but the broth tasted really clean. I was dealing with a cold at the time so this help tremendously. My favorite though was the cucumber salad. I really liked the sauce with peanuts in it. It made for a nice contrast and difference in texture in the bites.

Love the service and food here! Must try is always boat noodles and pad thai!!! We also love their lao sausage! We branched out to try other items but thus far our favorites are boat noodles, pad thai, Lao sausage, and any of the curries.

From the first bite, I could tell this place was different. The bread had that perfect crisp on the outside while still being soft inside, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything came together really well. You can tell they actually care about the quality of the food here. I've tried quite a few banh mi spots around the area, and this is easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The flavors were balanced, the portions were great, and the sandwich didn't feel thrown together like a lot of places do nowadays. It hit the spot without trying too hard. What I also appreciated was how simple and authentic everything felt. No gimmicks -- just really good food done right. If you're anywhere around Fairfield or Vacaville and craving a good banh mi, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. Glad to finally have a go-to spot in the area.

The pork one was really dry and the chicken was just okay, but we decided to give them another try and dine in this time. When we arrived, we were seated and greeted pretty quickly. There wasn't anyone else there, so we figured the food would come out fairly fast. After about 15 minutes, one of the chicken banh mi sandwiches came out and was dropped off by the cook. We had ordered two. We waited another 15 minutes or so for the second sandwich, but it never came. At that point my wife was almost done eating, so I asked the young lady to cancel my order. She seemed surprised and asked why. I told her it was because my wife was nearly finished and I still hadn't received my food. It was frustrating because she didn't seem to notice what was going on and appeared to be busy FaceTiming someone instead of checking on the table. I really wanted to like this place, but after two tries, the food and service just haven't been there.

It's located downtown next to the movie theater, if you're facing the theater, it's on the right-hand side. There was a sign on the door saying cash-only and no dine-in. I had cash and we were planning to take it to-go anyway, so that part didn't bother us. But oh my goodness... the staff needs improvement. Please address it ASAP. The vibe was not welcoming at all and felt very unprofessional. I could hear screaming and shouting coming from the kitchen from one of the younger girls, who honestly looked pretty mean. She was also taking orders. Thankfully, she wasn't the one who helped us, another girl took our order. Their POS was down and they said they accepted cash or Zelle, so we paid with Zelle. The girl told me, "Show it to me when you pay it," which I did. THANK GOODNESS I paid with Zelle. (I'll get to that). We ordered two salt & pepper wings and an order of garlic noodles to-go. The noodles came out first, so we sat down to wait for the wings. I noticed there were people dining in, so I guess the "no dine-in" sign wasn't accurate. When our wings were ready, we went up to grab them. The girl who took our order loudly asked in a rude tone, "DID YOU PAY?" It was embarrassing because everyone heard, and could've been handled so differently. I told her yes and pulled up the Zelle confirmation, the SAME one she had asked me earlier to show her. She clearly forgot and didn't make a note of it. Honestly, I can't imagine if I had paid cash. I wouldn't have had a receipt or any proof. So if you go here and their machines are down again... pay with Zelle. While we were there, I noticed a mother and daughter who had been waiting even before we arrived and still had no food. When we went up to get our wings, the daughter walked up to the counter very upset and said, "Give me back my money. We've been here for an hour and we were here before them." That pretty much confirmed everything about how chaotic things were. It felt like a total zoo in there. The system for handling orders and payments definitely needs work, especially with cash transactions. The tables were also dirty and could've used some attention. Additionally, the girl screaming in the kitchen shouldn't have happened. The wings? Still delicious. But the service and organization at this location really took away from the experience. The only parking available was at the garage across the street.
