    Pork soup dumplings

I had to come back to try their food and I am so happy that I did! This place is definitely a new favorite of mine. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was truly a 10/10. The pricing is also very good. I cannot wait to come back and try more of their food. This place is a must try you will not be disappointed!

Came here for the first time for lunch. Their menu offers a delicious selection of food. The food was yummy and the service was also wonderful. Great staff. A must try!

It was time for dinner and we were out of town so we all decided we wanted dumplings. We found this place and we're seated right away. Very friendly welcoming clean inside. Menu is simple yet has a lot of variety service was great and we probably ordered a little bit too much food some of it's not even pictured here. Prices are also very reasonable. The sesame chicken had some of the most amazing batter I've ever had, but it was a little bit too sweet, the honey walnut prawns were great, the shoe eye was great, sesame balls were also really nicely done, but they were pretty small, the wonton soup was excellent and a huge portion.

Nice to see new asian restaurant popping up in Vacaville. This place reminds me of 88 bao bao but they are fairly new but decent for our first time here. Seems like they are still training some staff and they were friendly and helpful. Portions was decent not too little and not too much. Price point is where you expect now with average of $14-20/per person. We ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice plate which was enough to have leftover. The male spicy flavor rice noodles soup definitely has a kick of spicy and the server did warn us and told us the golden spicy soup was even spicer so we're glad we took it down a notch. Lmao! I had the wonton and egg noodle soup & added chili oil that was available at the table. The dumplings were great didn't fall apart and had good amount of meat stuffing inside. Minus when they were first seated us right next to another only party in the whole restaurant a little too close for comfort to be able to get in and out we were moved at a different table to have a bit more space.. everything was great!

This was my first time trying FDH. Heard a lot of good feedback about this place and finally had a chance to see what they're all about. I ordered through DoorDash got crispy chicken that came with fried rice and a egg roll. I also got some BBQ Pork buns. The filling on the inside of the buns were very nice, though I thought the bun was a tad bit undercooked. The fried rice was decent, but felt a little bland in some bites. The crispy chicken was my favorite. They definitely didn't skimp on the crispy and the batter had a nice seasoning to it. They threw in some chili sauce on the side and it pairs well with the dish. Just wish maybe I could've gotten one more container of the sauce because it was nice. There were some hits and misses, but would definitely go back for the crispy chicken as well as try some their other dishes.

This place was amazing! It's good to finally have a local dumpling place without having to drive to the Bay Area. The place is fairly new but they have already got the hang of things it seems. The staff was super friendly and accommodated our large group right away. We were given menus, water and hot tea, which is always a plus! We ordered a bunch of food, not all pictures, but everything was really good! The wontons and garlic green beans were 10/10! The soup dumplings and fried rice were really good as well. Our noodles were good but probably could have used a little more flavor to them as well as the boba. Other than that we enjoyed our dinner! We were helped by Vikki and Kylin, if I remember correctly, but they definitely were super attentive and patient. We'll definitely be back!

Fortune Dumpling House is a small restauraunt but has very yummy eats! We came on a whim and wanted to try out some of their XLB. We ordered the XLB, crispy spicy chicken and mala noodles with chicken. Everything was delicious and the XLB came out nice and juicy! The mala noodles had a great spiciness and the crispy chicken had the perfect numbing to spicy ratio. My few complaints are that they only have regular spoons for the XLB. They are not very soup-friendly especially once you bite into the dumpling. I highly suggest Chinese soup spoons to make these easier to eat. The dumplings were also more on the expensive side, but it beats driving all the way down to the Bay Area.

Decided to go try this place out. We walked in and were greeted by the person behind the counter. We looked over the menu and decided to go with the Chicken Stir-fry noodles, Fried dumplings, Garlic spice edamame and Pan Fried Pork buns. Everything came out all a once which was nice. The chicken stir-fry noodles were very tasty and delicious. Fried dumplings were amazing we had 2 orders of them. Fried pork buns and Edamame were delicious as well. Prices were reasonable and I would definitely go back and recommend this place. The inside was nice and clean with a good amount of sitting. So if you're in the area and want to try dumplings go check them out.

We came for the dumplings and they were good. Small.... but still tasty. A little underwhelming compared to all of the beautiful photos I saw on Facebook advertising this place, though. The restaurant is small and gives low-key fast food vibes. Service was pretty slow, but friendly. I prefer Yang Kee in Davis for dumplings. They are bigger, have more filling, and I prefer their sauces. I won't claim these were frozen, but I also wouldn't be surprised if I learned some were. I do plan to return, though, to check out the soups. We passed a table on our way out that went that route and they looked really good.

The server said that this place just opened about 4 months ago, so they considered themselves still in the "soft opening" time frame. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good and my bf and I were happy to see another Asian restaurant open up close to us. We got the shrimp dumplings, assorted beef dry rice noodles, and spicy crispy chicken. I will say the picture used for the spicy crispy chicken was not similar to what we got, but it was a good surprise. The chicken pieces were bigger than the picture. The shrimp dumplings were good. Our favorite dish was the noodles. Perfect amount for 2 people, meat was tender, and the sauce had peanut butter with a little spicy kick.

Nice place. I think I over ordered but I wanted to try and lot. The food was really well cooked and tasted amazing. My favorite was the broccoli beef but I have always been partial. Great service and really nice staff.

Fortune Dumpling House is one of the best dim sum spots around. They have an extensive menu and make some of the tastiest dishes. We started off with edamame and the its was perfectly seasoned and had a nice garlicky taste. Beef roll was very tasty, one of my favorites. The Fried Chicken and Fried rice was also delicious. We also ordered the children's custard buns and they were perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful with questions about their menu. The restaurant is clean and welcoming.

My family and I were in the mood for some comfort Chinese food and stumbled across this new spot. Upon walking in the shop is small but cutely decorated but simple. The staff greatly us warmly. The only I feedback I have is that the windowsill needs to be dusted. But no feedback about the food. Everything was very good! We started with the spicy garlic edamame. We all really enjoyed this, the sauce was so good my mom ended up stealing some to put on her rice. I shared the wontons in chili oil, pork soup dumplings, and chicken wings with my husband and they were all soooo good. The soup dumplings were definitely full of delicious rich broth. The wontons had a great flavor as well. The chicken wings were fried to perfection and have a delicious ginger taste. My sister had the wonton noodle soup and my mom had the shrimp fried rice. Both said they thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I could see the shrimp fried rice came with plenty of shrimp and the wonton soup was huge. All in all we really enjoyed trying this new spot!

Yang Kee Dumpling is located in a small strip mall, equipped with plenty of parking, and EV chargers. When arrived it wasn't too busy, and the hostess showed me to my table. In front of my table was where the staff was making dumplings (they were behind glass). After looking at the menu, I opted to get some traditional soup dumplings, bbq pork fried rice, and pineapple bao buns for dessert. My server was Bing and she was nice and efficient. She came back to check on me a few times throughout my dining experience. My fried rice came out first. It was a LARGE serving of fried rice, it of course had eggs, carrots, peas, and BBQ pork. It was flavorful. Next came out the soup dumplings. They were brought out in a steamer basket with a top to keep them warm. These were amazing. The light and delicate dough, mixed with the savory pork filling, and the salty broth was perfection. Next came out my pineapple bao buns. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. To my surprise these may have been the star of the show. The dough was light and sweet, the top was carmelized and sweet, and the custard inside reminded me of a Dole Whip from disney (exept it wasn't cold, it was warm). These were pretty large and I'm semi embarrassed to admint I had 2 3/4 bao buns myself. Go here. It's delicious.

At the time, you can view the menu for next door, but you cannot place an order with this spot. If you'd like to order for next door, it is recommended to go next door to order. Please be mindful. This is the only local dim sum place I really go to because it's close to home and consistently good. If they're closed or sold out, then I'm probably not getting dim sum that day because my next option is all the way in Livermore. I actually really like their setup. It's not the traditional sit down dim sum experience with carts going around, but the way they handle orders and move people through is super efficient. Even when it's busy, everything feels organized and quick!! Reminder, YES it can get busy fast!! One thing I really appreciate is how patient and welcoming they are, especially if you're newer to dim sum. They'll explain dishes without making you feel awkward or judged for not knowing what something is. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the food and take pride in what they do. If they're out of a new batch and making a new one, they're quick to inform you of the wait time. A few dim sum dishes are made to order, so again please be mindful, and they will also let you know. The food itself is honestly a 100/10 for me. I've never had a bad experience here. The drinks I've tried have all been really good too. They also sell their chili oil in store, which is a nice bonus if you want to take a bit of the flavor home. It's not spicy and it's not the same chili oil like you'd use with seasoning your pho. This is more of a dipping sauce and it's savory. One thing I'm not totally sure about, for the amount of time I've been in, is whether they have a system for returning a used, clean jar if you bring it back and receive a discount or percentage off the next chili oil jar. Please ask! Price wise, it's pretty standard for dim sum. It can add up fast if you order a lot. I remember our first visit was easily over $100 because we wanted to try everything. Now when it's just two of us, we usually spend around $50-$100 depending on how hungry we are. What I do like is that the portions don't feel skimpy. I enjoyed the fish; the heat of the jalapeno slices and the salt elevated the light crispiness and mild sweetness of the fish. The fried rice was light and fluffy with bits of egg. The sauteed broccoli had a solid crunch, and the vegetable egg roll was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This was a good, satisfying lunch at Aberdeen Café. When I'm in the mood for comforting Cantonese food again, I'll be back for more.

88 Bao Bao has taught me to not be so judgmental without trying it first. So glad we decided to…read moretry it because it has become one of our top spots for quick-n-easy Chinese food. With so many different types of dim sum to choose from, they also have an impressive variety of main courses, such as stir-fries or ramens. All so delicious! The establishment is small, but very accommodating. To dine in, you can automatically order/pay at your table, and within a few minutes, a friendly waitperson will promptly deliver your order. You can even watch your order being prepared through their large viewing glass. 88 Bao Bao reminds me of Din Tao Fun in Las Vegas, but on a much more subtle scale. However, when it comes to food comparison, I think I prefer low-key subtle over high-end foo-foo. But that's just me. Try it!

We ordered the pork xiao long bao, beef rolls, Shanghai shrimp chow mein, pan fried pork buns, and…read morechocolate xiao long bao. The pork xiao long bao was very bland in my opinion; I had to rely on the vinegar for some flavoring. The skin is very thick, and there is just simply not enough broth in the xiao long bao. I expected more from this, as xiao long baos are their signature dish. The beef rolls were mediocre; the beef rolls I've eaten are usually dripping with hoisin sauce or oil. This one is very dry. It's really crunchy though, so that's a pro! The Shanghai shrimp chowmein was the best dish out of all. Each bite was a rush of flavor, I can taste the wok air!! As I am a thick noodles person, these noodles were perfect for me. 88 bao bao, you gotta slide me the recipe for this chow mein, hahah! The pan fried pork buns were good. Loved the broth for this one, and they were pan fried perfectly. However, the meat was more dense and compressed than the traditional ones. The chocolate xiao long baos was far from what I expected. I know this new trendy chocolate xiao long baos roots from din tai fung's menu, and there have been countless recipes of them online, the most popular being the Lindt chocolate wrapped in the xl bao skin. I'll stop beating around the bush. A bite into 88 bao bao's chocolate xiao long bao, it was Lindt. I don't know if I'll ever pay 9 bucks for something that is so simply made. Additionally, I'm sure they way overcooked it, cause the chocolate has the same consistency as water. A bite causes a whole splash. Service was very attentive. Mid meal, a woman, which we assume is the owner/boss, came to see how everything was. She was very bubbly and outgoing!
