I would not recomend Appliance Repair Company, My washer went out on me, called Nations who had me call BHB App7Repair, had a tech Maverick come out that afternoon, great !!!! , 15 min later he left then an hour later I did a load. All he did was empty the water from the filter Low and behold the same error. I called BHB, cant get anyone out until Monday, talked to Belinda. Monday, Henry came out and diagnosed the issue. It's the motor on the pump. Part has to be ordered. Ok.....no problem. Tuesday I called and told them I am having surgery Thursday and please....put me on the schedule for Thursday morning as I need to leave at noon. Nope, cant do it without the part. Wednesday I called. Can come out Thursday at noon ...told them that wont work. And I wont be home until Thursday afternoon some time. I have dealt with Belinda, never once was there an apology. I am a Sears Warranty customer. BHB was originally contracted to provide warranty repairs for our Refrigerator in August 2016. They came out for an initial inspection and informed me they would have to order the part, and it would be available in a couple of weeks. They called me a few weeks later to inform me the part was backordered. It's now January 2017 and I've received no callback from them. I have been proactively calling them for over a week, and 3 separate times they have told me "they will call me back" and never do. The office manager cannot find the file associated with my service request. I'm now having to go back to Sears to get them to reassign the work order - after 5 months. I highly recommend finding another company. read more

We had washer go out on us and called our warranty service (Choice home warranty) - Service request was opened on Oct 05, 2017 and still sitting today and don't have it repaired. First we were told that the part is not available, then we were told by our home warranty company that it is back ordered and finally they said they got the part week and half ago. We scheduled appointment for last Friday Oct 20, 2017 no one showed up and called them they said someone will come by Monday 10/23, nothing done or no one showed up. I been calling them for all of the morning and still don't know if this will be fixed! I've spoken to BHH multiple times over the past severalonths. I recently spoke with a manager on Wednesday and setup an appointment today from 2-4. I was told they would call on Thursday to confirm because I would have to unplug my fridge the night before and leave it open. I never received a call. I called around noon today and they confirmed my appointment and that the technician would call 30 min before arrival. I left work early today to be home during their scheduled window. I have not received any calls today. I called them at 3 30 and it went straight to voicemail and so I left a message. Their answering machine says they are unavailable from 2-3 pm which makes no sense. Still no answer again at 3:45 I have been more than patient and this is a very reasonable request. What more can I possibly do?? read more

I have used and requested BHB Appliance many times through my Nations Home Warranty. Maverick and Kendrick are both very good at repairs, customer service and communication. I have also used them a few times for my COD work when I buy a new appliance for installation not covered by the home warranty. I am sure they are very busy working though several companies as the prior reviews state. However, from personal experience, the "other" companies that do the service plans for manufacturer's do not communicate very well. Why would they if your appliance broke under warranty and the manufacturer will lose money. Just glad that BHB is willing to step up and work for these companies even though it may be lesser pay and longer to get paid... Again, from prior experience. read more

I have a Home Depot protection plan, services via Asurion. I called them on the 8th to have my dish washer looked at. They told me the earliest they could have someone out would be the 13th. I agreed and arranged to take the day off work. They assign BHB to handle the service call. The 13th arrives and I still have not heard from BHB. I called BHB Appliance at 8 am on the day of the appointment and had to leave a voicemail, they didn't return that. I called back at around 11am, and the dispatcher hid behind the "we didn't get the request until this morning" line. I asked that they conference in Asurion so we could get this resolved. They told me they weren't allowed to conference them in. That instead I would have to call Asurion and have Asurion call them,and that I couldn't be on that call. When I asked to speak to her supervisor I was told no. When I asked for the supervisors name I was told no. I was then hung up on. I call Asurion, and they put me on hold to talk to BHB, and then tell me the earliest BHB can be out is the 14th. I have no option but to agree to this, they say BHB will call me back to confirm the appointment, that they won't confirm the appointment, and won't tell me the name of a supervisor at BHB. It's over an hour later, still waiting for a call..... read more

Anyone know how to work with them? They were contracted to do repair work for our Sears appliances. They have our part and we need it installed. They are unresponsive and won't take my husband's calls to find out the status of our repair. They were supposed to be here between 1-5 on Wednesday and still have not shown up. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Let me count the ways... 1. The first attempt at repairing our fridge left us with a freezer that wasn't cold and a fridge that was freezing things (despite us changing the temperature.) 2. Extremely difficult to get ahold of (had to leave multiple messages each time to get a response, sometimes in excess of 7 messages without a call back for up to a week.) 3. When we attempted to contact again to get the original mess up fixed, Sassy Whoevershewas LIED to me and tried to tell me we refused appointment that was never offered to us. It has been exactly a month since we first started dealing with them, and all we have is a broken fridge and a bad taste in our mouths. Do not use if you value your mental health. read more

We had an LG refrigerator linear compressor go out. It was still under warranty, but had to utilize an LG certified tech to honor the warranty. We called BHB despite the reviews. Maverick came out and was able to replace the linear compressor after it was delivered by LG. This replacement was on 3/25/2017 (a Saturday). Setting this appointment was not as frustrating, because Maverick showed up as scheduled. Unfortunately, the compressor gave up again BHB mentioned that all the LG compressors they were shipped to make replacements, have been acting up. (Around April 18th) Now for the fun: Bad part of the review: This is true, they do not call back, they are very difficult to get ahold of. I'm sitting here waiting for them to call me back. I called earlier to confirm my appointment for today, and she said, let me call you back. So far, no call. So what do I do with this time while I wait? I'm going to review them. I have repeatedly called them, being courteous and trying to find appointment slots. We originally had an appointment for Saturday, May 13th. No Show, no call. I booked this appointment 2 weeks in advance. When I called on Monday, the person that answered was shocked they scheduled on Saturday... they never schedule on a Saturday. We settled on May 25th as the next available date. Between 8 and 10 AM. I called at 8:30 just because I wanted to make sure I was still on their books. They said they would call me right back. Now I am still waiting for their call back. And I cannot get a hold of them. For the good side of the review, I have dealt with Maverick on an earlier repair. He was courteous, and very professional. Overall, honoring appointment times and courtesy calls are big key for customer retention. read more

Sears master service plan sent BHB Appliance out to service our ice maker. Since then absolutely nothing has been done. No phone calls are returned. When you catch them on the phone they schedule for an appointment to install the part that was ordered. As of today we have had three appointments that they have not shown up for. It's easy to see why Sears struggles when they have this kind of incompetence representing them. If my ice maker covered by Sear's warranty is ever fixed it will probably be my last dealing with them. DO NOT USE BHB APPLIANCE IN MCKINNEY TX. read more

Absolutely awful. Our warranty company sent them to repair our leaking dishwasher. After two trips (one to install a new gasket) the dishwasher was still leaking and the tech said that we needed to order new rails to fix the problem. When I called the office to follow-up I was told that the rails were no longer manufactured by the company and our warranty company wouldn't cover the repair even if they were. I told the office that I would I order the rails (which I did from Sears Parts) and pay BHB to install them. After the parts were shipped to me - BHB informed me that since the warranty company wouldn't cover the repairs - they would not be able to service the dishwasher (regardless if I paid for the repairs myself) and that my file was "closed". So - I called a tech from another company - and he fixed the leak in about an hour. The leak was caused by a split drain line and not the rails. So, not only did BHB leave me with a leaking dishwasher - they misdiagnosed the source of the leak. read more

I was sent over to them by NFM warranty through Assurance and have had nothing but run around with them. I set up online with the warranty company on a Friday with an all day appointment on Monday. I sat at home all day Monday and when I called them Monday evening I was told they had no open slots and could do it Tuesday morning. I waited at home again Tuesday and after my appointment time came and went I called back. I was told someone would look Into it and get back to me. After another 3 hours I called again and was told I wasn't even in the system ( after I had already called them 3 times) and should call the warranty company. I called the warranty company Wednesday morning and they contacted BHB and we set up for Thursday. Maverick showed up to my house on time and told me I needed a new control panel on my washer. He went out to his car and called around and told me that he could have the part Monday of this week and gave me his word the repairs would be completed by today. I called this morning to inquire yet again to be told no part that they would look Into the part and get back to me. Still nothing from them. They make a lot of promises that they don't keep. NFM has likely lost my future business because I can't trust their repair companies to take care of warranties I pay for. I am now coming up on 2 weeks without my washer that I reported the first morning after I had issues. read more

Easily the worst customer service experience I've ever dealt with. Belinda the office manager took no effort to help us solve our problem with our oven. The scheduling of my appointment was a catastrophe. They showed up an hour late. Then left within 7 minutes and never came back. Called to reschedule was told it would be a week later. When I said that I was going to complain to my home warranty company she told me "go for it we have lots of complaints". Had them come out to fix the ice machine in my freezer. They changed some sort of chip. They told me to give it a few hours to start working. It never worked. After numerous attempts to correct the situation through Nations Home Warranty, it never got fixed. During this process, on more than 5 occasions, They didn't return calls to set appointments, or missed appointments. This went on for about a month. All the while having to go to the store to buy bags of ice. Nations refused to send another vendor. Maverick and Belinda at BHB have been wonderful for several years now on several repairs through my home warranty company. The other day Maverick came out to repair my fridge... It turned out be something not covered by the home warranty, but Maverick gave me his word that he would be back by today - at the latest, Thursday 8/20, once he picked up a part and some special equipment needed to get the thing running well again... If the past few years of dealing with him, and BHB, are any indication of what his word means to him, he'll be here shortly, I'm sure... Go Maverick... Update! Well, we worked with Sears warranty repair to fix our LG stove and they sent us to BHB appliance. I called to confirm an appointment that supposedly Sears booked with BHB, but they didn't have the appointment, but had the paperwork. They scheduled the appt for today, Saturday, Sept 2 form 8 am at noon It is now 11:15 am. In trying to contact them, I found out they are closed on Saturday and other reviews said they don't work on Saturday's, so here I sit wondering if they are going to show up or not. Well it is now 12:05 pm and no tech. No phone call no nothing. We called LG about the problem which is actually a safety issue so LG is sending out one of their techs on Tuesday. read more

Here to confirm every negative review here. I was scheduled through Sears warranty services with this company for a 1-5 appointment window. I confirmed my appointment and even chatted with Sears to make sure that they had the correct contact information. On the day of the appointment I called the company to confirm my appointment but had to leave a voicemail. No one ever called me back. A little while later, after sitting here waiting, I tried to call them again. No answer and I did not bother to leave another VM. I finally called again and someone actually answered the phone. I was told that my appointment was scheduled for the 14th, 4 days from now. I told them that Sears scheduled the appointment correctly and that I even got confirmation e-mails. They were not helpful nor sympathetic. I called Sears back and was told that this company told them that they didn't have the repair techs to help me today. This company was terrible to work with. The 1st time I used them they did repair and it broke again 2 days later, exact same problem. Then they came out again to look at it and said they would need to order part. Never followed up never called back. Then I called them to follow up for what would be a 3rd appointment. The service man was arguing with me that it was normal for my oven to make a loud buzzing noise. Then tried to say that it would cost something to fix it. (NO DUH)! I obviously assumed there would be a cost associated with any repair so I'm not sure why he was arguing with me about the fact that it would cost something, and not telling me what the part is I needed or how to get it done. Was told these guys were going to come and fix my LG dryer. Apparently, they cancelled the repair without notifying me. My dad had driven an hour out to meet the repairmen as well. When I tried to call during business hours, there phone went straight to voicemail and they did not return my calls. LG also tried to call them with no luck. LG ended up sending out a repairmen directly employed by LG. My advice would be not to use this company unless it is your only option. I joined Yelp for the sole purpose to let people know that the interaction with this company was the single worst experience I have had dealing with any company. Terrible customer service, the "office manager" Belinda had a terrible attitude and was rude at best. i would never do business with these people. the first day they were supposed to come they didn't show up. finally came to fix my freezer and said the part was no longer available and for my son to go get it even though it was no longer available and would not give me the order number so i could get food loss replacement. it took almost 3 hours and many dropped or disconnected calls to get the order number. then amazingly they found that part and rescheduled me and on the day they were to come and at that time i get a call saying i had been rescheduled for the next day without even letting me know and this was a recorded message. i will not renew my sears contract . it has been a month since my freezer went out. i filled out a food loss form and they sent me a check for $50 when my total was $278 and i did my best to recall what was in that freezer that was packed and the cost of each of 35 items. then they said i got the wrong check when i complained and i was supposed to fill that form out again and try and remember it all and the cost again. just amazing all the way around. read more
