When they first opened, I didn't go there very much but I was always impressed with how clean it is! As a recently diagnosed Celiac, I learned to love gluten free meals quickly! This has now become my favorite place to visit. The staff is always extremely friendly, and their sweet potato noodles make their way into my bowl every time. The chicken is always super tender, and I love whatever they marinate their tofu in. It's delicious! Also, I recently discovered that miso soup is always complimentary. What a nice touch! Child portions! Tiny spoons to feed adult bodies. They make sure to not over fill the little spoon that they scoop with and the little cup that they scoop the meat portion with. They're prices are not tiny. The stinginess makes me think not to return. I totally leave there hungry. I wait for the food to digest just to see if my body feels fuller. It does not. The one Asian woman never fills a bowl, yet the pictures in the restaurant appear full. The only thing I found was the way it was run when picking your items most were almost empty the items were not refilled the way it should have been no one likes to watch you scrap from the bottom . BIBIBOP is the best new chain in the area! I have been here numerous times and every time my bowl is always packed with food, unlike their competitors. I absolutely love their noodles with any protein and their toppings are so diverse. I am a picky eater and this place definitely has something for everyone! I typically get a bowl with extra noodles, broccoli, corn, eggs, bean sprouts, potatoes, and spicy chicken with their "yum yum" sauce. I have been here about 5-6 times and each time my bowl has been made consistently, I never had a problem with their great staff or quality issues with their fresh ingredients. Compared to other similarly styled chains, you can definitely notice that their food is healthier. I got to try the new Bibibop before it opens this Thursday and it was awesome! This was my first time at Bibibop and I am impressed. I love that they have healthier options, the food was so fresh and flavorful. There were a ton of options so everyone will find something they like here. It's easy to customize. I tried the Korean BBQ Beef which was awesome! I really loved the sweet potato noodles! They have so many topping options and sauces. The restaurant is clean and modern and everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. We really needed a spot like this in Munster so I'm thrilled they are here! The whole restaurant is 100% gluten free too. Do not skip the cookies, they were sooo soft and delicious. (And nut, dairy, and gluten free!). You get complementary miso soup with each order as well! Wow, a BIBIBOP in Northwest Indiana? The Hallyu has finally hit the Region. Never thought I'd live to see the day. For those not aware of the new hotness that is Korean Chipotle, BIBIBOP is a fast casual rice bowl eatery. It derives its name from the Korean word bibimbop which literally means "mixed rice." While traditional bibimbap features sautéed or blanched vegetables like bellflower root, pickled perilla leaf, and bracken fern stems over rice with gochujang and sesame oil, BIBIBOP opts for less exotic but equally tasty alternatives like kale, corn, and pineapple, along with sweet potato noodle as an alternate base to rice or mixed greens. As someone who likes to lean more traditional with his Korean food, I found it initially a little odd, but still pretty tasty. The Korean BBQ beef doesn't quite have the full flavor you'd expect at an authentic restaurant, and I would have preferred if the kimchee weren't vegan, as it has more umami, but that's just me being a snob about my cultural heritage in mainstream American food. I do appreciate the fact they have heukmi bap (purple rice) as a choice as well as the complimentary miso soup, especially during cold winter days. The drink selection is a nice touch. The fresh lemonade and tea varieties are a nice alternative to sodas. When it comes to mainstream ethnic food, there's a fine balance that needs to be struck between authenticity and taste. For the most part, BIBIBOP manages to keep both sides of my palate satisfied. Looking forward to many more visits to fully explore the menu, especially the cookies. read more

This spot just opened a week ago and we have dined in once and ordered pickup once, we liked it so much the first time! They are BUSY, but they mostly keep things moving. I love that they have vegetarian protein options and lots of veggies for toppings. It definitely feels healthier than most fast food options in town, though the yum yum sauce is a calorie bomb (but a delicious one!!) and if you get the carb base it is also pretty heavy. This was my first visit here and I wasn't sure what to expect. Well I found out soon that Bibibop Asian Grill is to Korean food as chipotle is too Mexican food. I am a big Korean food fan and have eaten a lot of it, even in Korea so it wasn't what I expected. However, it wasn't bad. A few weeks ago I ordered some carry out through the drive through. We made the 15-20 min drive home and the orders were wrong. One cup was supposed to be chicken and it was steak. The other was supposed to be steak and purple rice and cheese and it wasn't purple rice and there was no cheese. My meal was devoid of sauces I ordered and was charged for as well. Omgoodness where do I begin. First of all I love having a new Asian food joint that's different than all the boba tea joints that have been coming to the region. Secondly, I love how it's a GF chain!! I'm personally not GF but I have a friend who is extremely sensitive so finding places to eat at together is hard but we love this place!
