I love potbelly's and typically I'm happy but I got an apple walnut salad and it was so absolutely old. The apples were so old it almost tasted like they had been fermented. Some of the salad greens were slimy and brown, and the grapes were brown. I don't even understand how the kid making it didn't notice it I did the second I got home and looked at it. I was going to drive it back but I like 15 minutes away and it's not worth my time but here is a picture of it literally throwing the rest away. read more

Great food. Good service. But l believe that people who work around food should have their pants all the way up and their underwear should not be exposed to the food products. Please tell your employees to do this. Underwear is for hygienic purposes and exposing them around food defeats the purpose. read more

The dining room was close and doors locked. Sign said to order online for pick up so we did. Pick up time was 2:20. I walked up at 2:20 on the dot and looked in the window. The working inside was leaned up against the counter drinking a soda and looking at her phone. She saw me and walked into the back. I waited for another 15 minutes before my girlfriend called the restaurant asking about our food. Five minutes later they open the door handed it to me without a word. No thank you, no sorry - nothing. The food was a mess. Cold and soggy sandwiches. Never again. Hire better staff. read more

Stopped by Potbelly the other night and although the sandwich was good, the customer service was lacking a bit. It was also a bit unorganized. It could've been an off day or maybe someone was on break, but I noticed the lack of communication between the two girls who were working there. I ordered with the first girl and the second girl made my sandwich, but did not know the rest of my order. Usually Potbelly is on top of it, but not last night. Saddest most pathetic excuse for a sandwich. Paid for the big Mediterranean and got barely more than lettuce. It's supposed to have hummus, feta, cucumbers and red peppers in addition to artichoke. As you can see from my posted picture....there is hardly a sprinkle of any of these. The cheese is barely visible and I didn't taste that or the hummus. And that's literally the sandwich. My favorite quick sandwich. I like the meatball with tomatoes, onion and peppers. It's a gotta order. I also enjoy the roast beef with peppers - also a must taste. I have eaten at potbelly a across the US - since they expanded off of Lincoln Ave in the Northside of Chicago. I have been pleased with the consistency and quality of Potbelly. Potbelly makes some of my favorite sandwiches. Potbelly is also about more than just sandwiches. It's about the people, their quirkiness, the dude jamming somewhere, etc. This place was so blah and lacking energy it was simply disappointing. I've been to Potbelly in the city and been impressed. Highland - first visit... not so much. We arrived at 11:30am for lunch and were the only customers. We ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 chips and 1 drink for... $17????? Seemed high so I asked for a bill. The bill was for $12something and not ours. Next bill: $17 and ours with other food on it. After a discussion with the server and a long line of annoyed people behind us, finally got our bill for $14 plus. Still too much for a couple of not that great sandwiches. So, inefficient and an only okay lunch. Like the review says "Meh. I've experienced better." read more

This is the only potbelly that I know that is in my area. I usually buy downtown and I love the way they make my chicken salad salad. When I come here its just....OK. The staff is pretty nice but I'm use to more quirky staffs at other places. I'm a fan though and will be back. read more

I'm writing this review after multiple bad experiences, as I'm one who likes to give places a chance and give them the benefit of the doubt at times. This is ridiculous, we ordered 2 and a half hours ago. We ordered for employees at our business and first could not even place it with the app as it wasn't working properly. We then called and we're put on hold for a long time and finally could place our order. We have waited and waited and called many times and they gave multiple excuses as to why our food was not there. Each time we were faced with poor customer service. They told us our order went out with the door dash and was en route yet here we are 45 mins later with no food. We called to speak to a manger and she was very unhelpful and could not give us any information we asked for. She was also very unpleasant. We have been understanding, but this is ridiculous and unacceptable. Completely handled poorly the entire time. Never ordering from here again. read more

Great service and quick...I ordered the Italian on flat, and my other half got the Wreck...Both were good. I had time to explore their decor and they need to concentrate more on the food. We need more Jersey Mikes! I've been eating at Potbelly since it was a lone store on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. I loved them then and still like them now. I like the addition of salads and chili. This store is the largest Potbelly that I have seen. I think the size decreases it's charm and eclectic feel. But the food is good, the service is pleasant, and the prices are decent compared to some sub shops. Definitely worth a stop. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed a large order for delivery to feed my staff today at a location that is less than a half mile away. After I paid via credit card I was told it would be about 30 minutes. Not a big deal. After an hour wait I called to check the status of the order and was told they were waiting on the door dash driver to pick up the food but it should be shortly. Maybe another 20 minutes past and we called again, we were told the driver had just picked up and should be to us soon. Another HOUR past before we bugged them again. Still no food. They would put the order in for us again and have it there in a half hour. 45 minutes and nothing. My staff is starving and Im out over $60. I call again to cancel the order and was told I need to wait until tomorrow before someone can give me a refund. I paid you to not give me food and now I have to wait to start the refund process? Meanwhile I was met with annoyance each time I called wondering where the food I paid for was. No food and horrible customer service? My co-workers and I have decided we will never go to Potbellys again. Whether for personal or staff catering. We then ordered from Jimmy Johns and got our large order in less than 20 minutes which is clearly the choice we should have made from the get go. read more

The new Kingwood Restaurant needs to get its act together.....STAT! Pulled into the drive-in at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. I was the third car in line. Order was taken right away. Ordered the chicken salad sandwich and Farm Salad. I sat in line for 14 MINUTES......WAITING AND WAITING. Finally I get to the window and the server is on his cell phone obviously on a personal call, he reaches out and grabs my card and then slams the window. I sit and wait for another 6 MINUTES. They have my card so I can't leave. Finally I knock on the window and interrupt the server (who is still on his personal call) and I motion I want my card back, he opens the window and thrusts the card at me and slams the window AGAIN. Another 4 MINUTES and my order is finally brought to the window, it takes another 3 MINUTES to put the sandwich and salad into a bag and thrust it through the window to me....not a thank you...have a nice day...or kiss my butt....just slams the window in my face and that's it. Bottom line....the plain chicken salad sandwich was DRY, FLAVORLESS, I ate about half and threw away the rest. The Farm salad was soggy, chopped up so small it was actually soupy, there were 5 small cubed pieces of chicken on the salad that were dry and hard and they did not give me the packet of dressing. The salad was SOUPY AND FLAVORLESS and I took about 5 bites before throwing it out. The meal cost me $14 and was a total waste of my time and my money. I would NEVER RETURN. If this is par for the course Potbellys won't last long in Kingwood. read more
