Had dinner at Bibo's Pizza in Willow Glen and it was great. We ordered the giant Classic Combo without olives. At first, I didn't think there was any sausage on it. It wasn't a big deal, but then I remembered that's what we'd ordered and asked about it. They explained that their sausage is usually shredded, which I'd honestly never seen before. Even though that's how they normally make it, they went out of their way to make us a medium pizza with chunked sausage so we could try it that way too. Totally unnecessary, but such a thoughtful gesture. Everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and they were welcoming to our pup, Maverick. Came here years ago and left my review for the food hall as a whole, but recently came back to enjoy Bibo's before a Sharks game, so figured they should have a review of their own. I got a slice of pizza and a glass of wine. Ordered both at the Bibo's register, then took my receipt to the wine counter on the other side of the wall to pick up my glass. It was fairly crowded with other game goers, but luckily the food came out very quick. Others who had ordered whole pies seemed to have a longer wait, but the by the slice orders were nice and fast. There's a lot of good pizza around so I wouldn't say that Bibo's is the best, but it's a fun spot in a convenient location, and the pizza is still solid. We came here today to try it out this Pizza restaurant which is a walking distance from our house and decided let's see if it's good. The Caesar salad was a good portion and flavorful. We had the salt and pepper wings that were delicious and crispy and the french fries were to die for. My husband ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza but next time we will get a whole pizza to share they also have some free arcade games, which is a plus and some good cocktails, which we didn't get to take a picture because we drink them way to fast. Definitely recommend coming here as a group or date night lots of room and a big variety on the menu. read more

I visited on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was nearly empty. The food was okay, but the service was unfortunately disappointing. After I had already paid my bill, my server brought me another check. I explained that it wasn't mine and that I had already paid. She then asked what I had ordered, despite there only being two guests in the restaurant. After I told her, she still attempted to charge me for another table's order. I ultimately had to show her the receipt on my phone to confirm that my bill had already been paid. Throughout the meal, my drink was never refilled, I wasn't asked how the food was, and I had to request silverware after my meal arrived. I visited Bibo's for the first time before Saturday's Sharks game. Our group arrived early, at 4:30. One of the gals knew the owner, so she requested we be able to order an off-menu chicken pizza that she knew from previous visits to the Willow Glen location, declaring it "the only pizza I will eat outside of Italy." With such high praise, that made my decision easy, so I tried the chicken pizza. The slice was a decent size, good crust. Minimal sauce. Grilled chicken breast with full cloves of garlic, shredded basil, and a ranch type dressing drizzled on top. It was good (though the garlic stayed with me all night). The service was disappointing. My drink never arrived so I had to go up to the bar with my receipt to request it. We also didn't get any napkins, so i snagged some cocktail napkins from the bar. The water dispenser was empty. I could understand if the place was packed to the gills with Sharks fans, but it wasn't what i would consider to be crazy busy. I don't mind a self-service type restaurant, especially with a group (easier to pay individual tabs), but I kinda bristled at the 18% service fee. Prices were good tho, only $6 for the slice and $12 for the cocktail, so I think Bibo's is a good option for quick, cheap tasty eats before an event at the SAP Center which is a short walk away. read more

Cute spot in San José's Little Italy. Had a combo pizza & fries. It is NY style so the slices are thin and foldable. Good flavor. The have lots of craft beer on tap. I sampled 2, but both were a bit flat. I finally settled on a hazy IPA. Wished they had 1 or 2 "regular" beers like Stella or Modelo on tap. When visiting the SAP center for a Sharks game, this is a great option. It's a very roomy establishment. I had the meatball sandwich and it was good. The meatballs were very tasty and the bread was really nice too. Service is not the best. You can expect to refill your own water here. It's worth nothing that they do have a Bibos inside of the SAP center as well. read more

I came here since it is within walking distance to SAP Center and there's a partnership with Bibo's and the San Jose Sharks. I had heard of Bibo's also from some social media posts and had been on my list of places to check out for a while. Got to the area a little early to get myself a slice of pizza before the game and ran into a lot of other Shark's fans doing the same thing. Person taking my order was super nice and accommodating and asked me where I was planning to sit. I saw a stool at the end of the bar, so I pointed there and placed my order. Nicely lit restaurant with plenty of seating. Once I got my silce, I examined it for texture, size, and how thin the crust was. Bit into it and was welcomed with an amazingly flavorful bite. Amazing thin crust with a nice chew and good char on the bottom. I can see myself finishing up a whole pie because it's so good. Limonata was nice and sparkly that's not overly top sweet and refreshing to sip on. Bibo's is legit. Food is on par with what I would expect for a NY style pizza. read more

Lived in San Jose for 20 years and never knew about Bibo's. But we really enjoyed it and we'll come back again for certain. We only had two items, but both were quite good. The caesar salad was fairly basic but great dressing. But we really, really liked the pizza. We had half pepperoni, half sausage and mushroom. The pizza is New York style and has that floppy thing going. So bet to fold it in half when you eat. BTW they charged me the combination price for this, which is a little suspect. The restaurant itself is split into two parts. Not sure why, but one side has video games and seems more casual, and the other has a wine tasting area. Very rustic and authentic. The service was odd. Two servers helped us. One was really nice and friendly. The other was not friendly at all. But either the bartender or manager (not sure which) also came out to check on us. Nice touch. read more

So, my wife and I went to Bibo's after having dinner across the street at PHB. We stopped in for gelato. We really enjoyed our gelato as we always have. One surprise is they added 18% service charge without informing me. I don't really mind the service charge, but I like to be given the choice to accept the service charge ahead of receiving a bill. It was only $2 in our case, but between the service charge and the tax, it added 1/3 to the bill. I feel like there should be a clear sign posted or the server should inform. read more

The service at this spot is fantastic. They are fast, friendly and professional. The cheese board was a little lacking although the Pizza slice and the Caprese sandwich were delicious. Parking can be a challenge so be on the lookout for the perfect spot. read more

I came across a video on IG of Bibo's advertising their hand tossed pizza and I was sold!! I am a thin slice pizza lover and am always on the hunt to try new spots. Bibo's is located on the corner of Little Italy and it is the cutest restaurant! It shares the space with Enoteca La Storia (which is one of my favorite Italian restaurants, located in Los Gatos). This is a fun spot because you can order your food from either place and sit wherever you like! They seriously have it all. Good beer on tap and wines by the glass and bottle. I love that they offer pizza by the slice and whole pies. My friends and I shared a whole pie, half truffle half Margherita. Our favorite was the truffle hands down. It was soo flavorful!! And the crust was delicious. We actually watched the pizza maker hand stretch our pizza and it was out in a flash. The farm green salad was okay. It was just mixed greens with like one shaving of a carrot and couple of grape tomatoes. Not worth the money in my opinion. I can't wait to go back for some good wine and pizza! read more

Second time trying this place. We usually go to Bibo's on Bird for a slice. The first time trying downtown Bibo's was ti pregame for a Sharks game. Super busy and was slightly confused on how to order ect. The food was worth the confusion and wait time. My pasta was perfect and the beef sandwich was amazing, per my dad. The 2nd trip was with the wife. I had the same pasta "Bibo's Rig" and again was a perfect meal. It was a slow night midweek and worked out great. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. She had the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce. Again great food with a comfortable atmosphere. We'll be back to this family owned Italian restaurant with friends and family. New year, new wine bar. I have to say, when my friends mentioned wanting to go to Bibo's Little Italy, I was assuming it was the Pizza shop off of Curtner. (My friend ended up driving there by mistake). It was a relief when we found ourselves in Downtown San Jose and that too in a wine bar. We ordered the Truffle Mushroom Pizza Pie ($36.95) which gave us a total of 8 large slices. This was my favorite off of the menu. There was so much flavor and somehow the green scallions worked on top for an added crunch. We ordered 2 bottles of wine for the table which were great. Midway, we ordered a 3-piece meat/charcuterie for $15.95. I opted for only soppressata since I love salami. I was so disappointed to see a total of 6 slices of meat, an empty tray, and 3 tiny dollops of jam and mustard. Where are the olives, pickles, dried fruit? I reviewed Yelp photos to see a good mix but I suppose those are old photos? This was a bummer. No one should be offering up 2 slices of meat as a portion and that too for $15.95. I also asked if we could mix meats and cheeses but were told they can only do the $59.95 charcuterie board which no one wanted. We all ended up ordering scoops of the gelato at the end. The scoops were excessively frozen but after they sat a little, they were very creamy. The chocolate and strawberry were delightful. All in all, this spot has so much potential. I do foresee myself coming back but being limited to solely the wine and pizza. I think they need to better their service for charcuterie because I would be all over it. Cheers. read more

I've been to 2 events here, an afternoon baby shower and an evening office Christmas party. By far, one of the best venues I've been to. The front pizza place is casual, the back room and patio room can be very fancy. Food is absolutely delicious, down to the premium Italian butter they serve with the table bread. We got the make your own pasta, fettuccine with pesto and chicken fettuccine alfredo. The pasta was made fresh and texture was super good and the sauces was super creamy! The truffle fries were also amazing,, not too salty and also super fresh! We also got the truffle pizza slice and the pizza dough was very soft and extremely delicious! Will be going back for sure! I ordered today through DoorDash, so I can't comment on dining in. Based on my experience today, I don't think I would never order pizza from here again. I totally understand that DoorDash charges a lot for their fees...I ordered a gluten free margherita pizza that came in the size of a personal size consisting of about 6 small slices....they didn't specify size so for the price I assume it would at least come in a medium or large...I was wrong....For $38 on DoorDash that was outrageously expensive! On DD, they only had one size so it's not like I can pick, but we also ordered another half combo/half pepperoni for the same price and it came in a large size box which seems about right. Also ordered caesar salad but they doused the salad in the sauce so it was soggy by the time it arrived. I've had better, and I know what good pizza tastes like. I'll just stick to Pizza Guys or A Slice of NY. Bummer I gave this place a try and was totally disappointed.... read more
