Worst experience ever 100% would not recommend If I could leave negative stars, I would. I don't even know where to start. From the start when I inquired about the vehicle. That I purchased. (A 2024 ford mustang Gt) they took my deposit instantly to hold the vehicle but beat around the bush and didn't tell me right away that this title was lost and every day I kept calling asking about it and they wouldn't tell me what was happening every time I called I was told I would get a call back no callback from anybody whatsoever. Their communication was terrible throughout the whole entire process. From the time they took my deposit to the time I picked up the vehicle. It was over 2 1/2 weeks of a waiting period. When I arrived to look at the vehicle there were scratches and swirl marks all over the whole entire vehicle whoever their detailer is did a terrible job a 10-year-old could've done better at detailing the Mustang.Johan my sales rep didn't really seem to care about much seemed he only cared about getting his sale and his commission that's it I proceeded to tell Johan due to the paint that was extremely flawed, I will need them to work with me on the price. His response was I doubt they will go any lower. Once we got inside, I spoke with Joe. The preowned sales Director. He was a straight A$$hole....as soon as he walked in the room, he was giving my father and I, both an attitude instantly and didn't shake our hands or anything, just walked out of the room with an attitude wasn't willing to negotiate on the price whatsoever then finally Bruce one of the finance directors was able to talk Joe into knocking a few hundred dollars off due to the flawed paint of the vehicle Bruce was the only one who seemed like he cared about the transaction he was a super nice guy even though over the phone, his communication was terrible as well now I'm about a month in owning the vehicle. I still don't have my license plate or registration and the temp tag expires today. And you can't get anybody on the phone. Their communication sucks. I've been dealing with Mike the finance guy for the last few days. He told me the other day they can't do much which in fact they can. They just don't wanna pay the money to re-issue another temp tag they said my real tag should be here this week sometime I Called them 3 times today. They said they would call me back. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. My car saleswoman has the manager fired because she was verbally abused in front of me. I bought extended warranty for my tires and rims. it has been 4 months and they have not responded or fixed it. Wayne the service manager should be fired. I have called customer service and they have tried to get an answer for me for months and he won't even call back them. i got suckered into something they claim was an easy warranty and I'm driving on an unsafe tire. my next step is to look into a lawyer to take further action . I have never met a place that has the most unprofessional people . Bradley who handles my case in service is just as bad. won't give answers, no call back and when I physically go there they still say it's being worked on. Do not get a car from this dealership and do NOT get a Chevy Traverse. This is our second lease from this dealership and we are in a nightmare. The 15 month old car is having more issues than I can explain. It has been at the dealership in service for 26 days the last month and a half and they still can't resolve the issue. They do NOT offer courtesy cars, you have to pay for rental cars out of pocket. They are lying about the issues the car has and did not properly document the issues on service tickets. I am going to have to get a lemon law lawyer to get me out of my current lease so I can be free from this car and dealership and I'm sure they are going to make it a miserable experience. Horrible|Terrible| and all other negative expletives.I recently took my car for service for an issue, where the car (2013 Chevy Impala) would sometimes not start and several of the service lights were going on and off while driving, making it difficult to drive safely. Despite my better judgement of not doing business with Companies whom entrap you by charging you an exorbitant amount of $$$ for just looking/assessing the car, I decided to receive service at Bical Chevrolet of Valley Stream. After 2 weeks of the car being serviced at Bical, I was told that there was a short in the engine control module ECM and the body control module BCM. I was told that the total cost for service and labor would $2,114.94. Additionally I was told that car had been driven and tested for any issues. After paying and driving off with my car, my only expectation was that the car would function. 1 week later the car would not start, I took my car back to Bical Chevrolet of Valley Stream. This time around I was told of a different issue; the actuators for the HVAC unit were causing the battery to be drained. I was told that I would need to pay $432.51 for service and labor. After pleading the issue associates/manager, because I now had some valid fears that I was overcharged and mislead; I was told that someone would get back to me. It has now been a week no one has given me a call or followed-up. I guess they got what they wanted which was my hard-earned money. My recommendations to anyone who will read this is "Go to Bical Chevrolet, If your interested in highway robbery without the highway, or Lube service without the Lube" read more

I expected to have an annoying day at the car dealerships. I went online and found a vehicle that I wanted for my wife. As I walked through the lot to find the car i was greeted by Hector one of the sales people. I asked to drive the car and within 2 minutes we were on the road test. He told me about all the available incentives. So when we got back to the dealership he introduced me to Diana the manager she told me the price and gave me the 28k ( Blue Book fair trade in value) for my Tahoe trade in. On to financing where Dawn the finance manager asked if i was buying an extended warranty. I said no and that was that. Never mentioned or tried to push it again. I got a good loan rate and was happy that the loan was for exactly what Diana rote in the total space on the original contract I signed. After signing all the paperwork I had a couple laughs with the other sales people while my car was in the service department getting ready . Took only an hour and a half to get the car washed prepped and filled with gas. I would have to say it was probably the best car purchase experiences I've ever had. All done the same afternoon. The only way it could've been better is if i was buying a vehicle for myself. As this car was for my wife. Will be back again and definitely will recommend going here if you want to get in and out without all the typical back and forth between the sales person and there manager. Signed the dotted line on a used car today. They sold it to me for +3k lower than other dealers in the area were offering. Anthony M. was very nice and deferential to my needs - not pushy at all. He ended up giving me a fair deal for a beautiful car. In the end there was one negative: they went with a different bank for the financing and it was 3.5% over the APR I had been pre-approved for prior to coming in. They didn't tell me this, didn't mention it at all, i had to find out on the day of signing by looking at the contract. At that point I just smiled and signed it because their dealership is ovbiously hurting from this pandemic, they were very nice, and i didnt want to nickle and dime them for $600 when I had gotten such a good deal already. I took my car to Bical for an oil change and inspection. An hour later I was told one of my hoses had a hole in it. I checked under the hood and saw a liquid pumping out from the top of the black hose. The hole was brand new. I could see the liquid spreading and could tell it had only just started. I think they purposely poked a hole in that hose so they could charge me for more than an inspection and oil change. I had to leave my car overnight and ended up paying over $1200 . I felt duped and it was so unnecessary because if they had a good service dept, I would've been a customer for life and they would've gotten more money from me over time. Instead, I will never go back even if they were the last dealership on earth. In addition, they stole my granddaughter's college graduation tassle that was hanging from my rear view mirror. Took me some time but I eventually noticed it was missing and never saw it again. So petty. Terrible place. read more

Chris the manager,Roy in sales and Jim in financing are the dream team when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. I am not someone who enjoys buying cars and trucks, I find the entire process stressful and unnerving. However, this dealership is no-nonsense business that takes care of their customers. The van had a defective back door lock and Chris promised me he would fix it, all I had to do was give him a call before I brought it in for service. Promise kept! If it were possible to give negative stars I would. This dealership is the absolute worst place of "business" I have experienced ever. The cars will be affordable by nature due to the brands offered, so just go to other dealerships and you will be better off. For the entire life of my lease this dealership was a pain to deal with, causing tons of unnecessary frustration that other people i know never had to deal with. For example, I was repeatedly refused RainX, a very simple product that came with the maintenance of the car. 3 years and never received an application. Months before the return I was called EVERY SINGLE DAY to think of getting a new car compared to zero callbacks ever when owning the car. Finally, when it was time to return the car this dealership refused to take it back. Luckily my bank was understanding and had experienced this before with these scammers at Bical, and arranged home pick up. Please, do not do it to yourself. I recently took my car that i bought at the dealership for an engine cooling system issue. They supposedly flushed out the cooling system and stated 2 hoses were leaking which caused the anti freeze to leak. They charged me $950 for the repair. 2 month later I had the same over heating issue. I went back to the dealership thinking that they would guarantee their work. How wrong was I - they claimed they would reexamine the car and if it was caused directly by them they would do the repair for nothing. Low and behold I get a call that the water pump was leaking as well as the thermostat housing. Why wasn't this picked up the first time? They told me the repair would cost $1500. I told them you want to charge me $1500 more on top of the $900 I already paid. You would think that they would make good on their repair and since i purchased the vehicle there. I said just fill up the car with antifreeze and I will come pick it up. They still had the nerve to charge me $100 to tell me what was wrong. This the will be the last time I will visit this dealership. Think before you take your car here - profit is more important to them than honesty. Not a good dealership. I would up finding a local mechanic who did the same job for 1/3 of the price. read more

BICAL CHEVROLET - worst dealership representing a resilient and good American car maker. I would NEVER recommend this fraud, not even to my worst enemies. I leased a 2016 Chevy Trax from them. When I was in the process of getting the car, they were the "sweetest" and most begging kind of people. My lease is for 24 months (I have 3 months left as of date). I wanted to return it early, so I started the process. I called them, they said to call GM financial. I spoke with GM financial to set up a free inspection before returning the car. then after the inspection I called them, they said that diana (manager) was going to return my call later that day. 3 days later I called again to be told the same thing. at the end of day, no call from her. on day 5 I called saying that I was going to come by and drop off the car, then all of the sudden she was available. I got there and spoke to her about my situation. Told her I got a new lease from BMW and was to return her car early, I have no space to keep it, and I don't want to leave the car in the street. I paid off all the remaining balance on the lease and was told that I can return the car where I got it from. RIGHT AFTER I told her I got a BMW she got pissed off and said "oh you got a BMW, that's a 45 thousand dollar car". I asked her if it matter? I told her I was told by GM financial and GM corporate office that I could return the car. So all of the sudden, she was like "we have no space in our lot for your car". She is like go to other dealership and return it there. I said that I will leave the car on your lot and leave. she said they would sue me for this. I called the other dealerships and ALL of them said the same bullshit - "we have no space in our lot". diana (manager) - very unprofessional woman and likely has racist tendencies. She assumed that me being black meant that I couldn't afford a brand new 45k BMW by her comments to me ( I would hope a 45k car isn't too much for a black person to have, especially when I bust my ass day in and day out to save lives in the Emergency Room). diana (manager) is useless and very rude. She does not deserve to be managing anything in life. I do not know who BICAL is, but he/she clearly is either dead or blind to read these comments about his/her business. She is trying to avoid me by not returning any of my calls. I am trying all legal options to return the car that I paid off all the balance of, but she refuses to take it. Bical sales reps misrepresent programs and then call people liars. They use less than above board tactics. I was told about the Costco Auto Program when I leased my car. The sales rep told me to sign up and give him the membership information and I would get a gift card from Costco. He was either misinformed or intentionally mislead me. I was never informed that I had to be a member prior to October 1st of 2019. In fact he specifically said that as long as I have a membership # when we sign the contract that we would be eligible. When I spoke to the sales manager Anthony Gallo, he was dismissive and told me to take it up with Costco. I was on speaker phone and someone else with him stated that I lied. I recently brought my Malibu to them for warranty repair and I while almost everything was fixed properly, the screen on the dashboard was not fixed. The service guy tried to double talk me which angered me even more. Had he been honest and told me they didn't have time to repair it, I'd have no problem bringing the car back. To add insult to injury, he told me I must have some type of out of pocket repair for a little less than $500. I spoke with another dealer and he explained it's nothing more than a money maker for them and is totally unnecessary. Do yourself favor, find another Chevy Dealer. They called me in the morning and said I have to pick up my car and they cannot fixed it. I picked up my car and they charged me for $450.00. My other half leased a Cruze from Chevy. The salesman was not pushy. He was very knowledgable. He didn't hound us or stalk us. He cracked jokes. He watched us leave as we went to other dealerships and met us with a smile when we came back to lease the car. The finance department was helpful. The manager came over to talk to us, too. When he took the car for a test drive, the salesman asked me to try it out, too. He also handed me the second key. Finally, they helped us set up the OnStar, even though we didn't need the help. We saw on the internet something about some Cruzes being recalled. We called the dealership and the guy didn't know what we were talking about. Then we received a letter two weeks later saying to bring the car in for the recall. And this is where it all goes downhill. They serviced his car just fine. I had a Saturn and they are a GM dealership, so they said they would service my car because the engine light came on. We told them not to do anything until they quoted us a price. They agreed. They called two days later, not the promised next day, saying that with all that was wrong with it, the cost would be about 3 grand. The guy said that the locks weren't working because of the computer. Hmmm. Okay, well, some of that makes sense to me, but no, actually, it doesn't. I specifically remember pressing the button and immediately feeling and hearing something snap under the button. While maybe the computer was no longer working the locks because of that, the locks were not not working because of something with the computer. So minus 100. I asked what was absolutely necessary to have the car run safely. The guy said everything was necessary.We called back and asked again. The guy said everything except the power steering flush. Umm, that's a different answer. Why do I get two answers that cost different things? Minus 1000. We told the guy not to touch the car, not to fix anything, that we would pick it up later. The guy said that was fine and then billed us $222 for the diagnostic. We were like, For a diagnostic? The guy responded, yes we had to plug it into the computer and look up all those codes. Minus 800,0000. Not for the cost so much as for not informing us of the cost before doing it. And also because the average cost of a diagnostic is half of that. I checked the cost of all the things they wanted to do to the Saturn. Now I know that dealers are usually a little more expensive, but the prices they were charging were outrageous. Outrageous. I've dealt with many dealerships over the years and this one really has the qualities of a terrible dealer. 1. When i was calling to get price quotes, they would tell me prices of cars I didn't even ask for. I was interested in a 2016 Cruze Limited LT1, and i was being quoted on Cruze LS1 and then Chevy Malibu. 2. After I made my way there, the cars I was quoted on didn't exist. The ones they had were of higher MSRP with additional packages that I didn't want. 3. After going back and fourth with them we settled on a car and they insisted on a deposit while I was talking to my father about the numbers. I left a deposit with my card. 5. The dealer has a hidden fee of about $480 that is not explained, they just say its a dealer fee and its separate from registration and documentation fee. 6. It was a hassle to get my deposit back. I called 5 times to try to reach my salesperson Paul but all i kept getting was his voicemail. When I finally reached him, he said I had to go back to get my deposit and they wouldn't just refund it back on my account or mail me a check. So now i have to drive over 2 hour round-trip, pay multiple tolls just ($18 )to get my deposit. From this terrible experience I will not be going back to them in the future. read more

I have had my cars serviced here in the past and have only returned when absolutely necessary. I have not been able to get a straight answer from the Service department regarding car issues. I was turned away for service because their service team was "too busy to help me today". But the most difficult things have been the sheer overpricing for service and the lack of customer service when dealing with the team. I have been checking out various dealerships in the neighborhood to purchase a new car but I want to know that the service is not an issue. Okay let me start with the fact I've bought over 10 cars from them over the years. Some as low as a cobalt some as expensive as a corvette. Let's start with my purchase of a used car, first I bought a used 2004 monte carlo and the only requirement I had on a used car was that it had ABS let me say back then I wasn't as savy under the hood like I am now so I wouldn't know at the time if it had ABS or not. As you can probably figure I bought the car after many many many assurances that the car had ABS. About 3 months later I find out it doesn't have ABS Initially the dealer said o well all sales are final. After going back and forth eventually GM got involved and reimbursed the total car value. Now to the last time I was going to shop there. I was working on a purchase and going back and forth with the guy while also negotiating with another dealer. I caught the guy in a lie and he said to me you know what I don't want to sell you the car the price is 5k higher now take it or leave it. Goodbye Don't shop here. They are a dime a dozen read more

Boycott Bical Chevrolet This company is both ruthless and incompetent. They sold me a GM tire warranty which was not honored at a different dealership as promised. It took Bical Chevy 2 business days to change a flat tire that had no rim damage. I was upset that I was without a car for two days for a simple tire change. I incurred taxi expenses. But I was obligated to go through Bical for my tire. Even though they don't have tires in stock. And evidently, they can't obtain tires in a reasonable amount of time. They sold me a warranty for a product they are ill equipped to handle. Because I objected to their lethargic service. They are now declining to service my car. It has several door locks which no longer function. Bical is contractually obligated to service my car. They leased my Chevy Volt to me with a bumper to bumper warranty. So, they get the profit. And some other GM dealer now has to perform the warranty service. It's a nice business model to make sales and refuse to do warranty work. I set out on a mission to help my neighbor to lease a car because him and his wife are elderly and they had never leased or bought a new car before and were afraid of being taken advantage of. I told Johnny from Chevrolet exactly which car we wanted down to the model and the features it had to have- $279/month by phone he negotiated to get us to show up in person at this dealership with the understanding that we would be doing a trade and expected to negotiate the price down further to around $250 a month based on our trade and my Neighbor worked for board of ed and they had some other incentive programs (current Chevrolet owner loyalty). In person we negotiated with Ron (manager from Chevrolet) for the trade and put the trade towards the lease deal and Ron went as low as $252/month for 39 months. My neighbor filled out the purchase paperwork and they promised us the car 11:00 yesterday. When my neighbors showed up to pick up the car, both Johnny and Ron were not there. About a half hour later, my neighbor calls my cell and says "ron is here and he says we need to pay a little more money because he made a mistake." I said absolutely not don't do anything I'll be right there. End Result- Ron and the finance lady said they made a mistake and that they could not go lower than $289/month. That is $10 more a month than the original promised deal that got us to go to this place instead of Brooklyn. And that was not including the $500 they gave us for our trade. They had to put the license plates back on my neighbors car he was trading in and my neighbor had to cancel the insurance he bought for the new car he was promised. Ron promised us and put in writing $252/month for 39 months which would be approx $9828 for 39 months and then when my neighbor was supposed to be picking up their brand new car they told him instead he would have to pay $289/month which totals approx $11,271. They tried to get $1500 more!!!!! at the time where they were supposed to give him possession of the car. It seems to me that you don't have a deal with these people until after you drive the car off the actual lot. My neighbors told me they would have been very upset but they would have done what they told them to do and paid It if I didn't show up to help them. Friday afternoon I was driving home and the check engine light started to flash on my 2018 Malibu. I dropped the car of on a Saturday morning and by 2 pm it was fixed. Highly disappointed, after a successful lease contract of my 2019 Equinox premiere and receiving an extension on the lease, due to the pandemic no vehicle's available part issues, only to have it from in front of my house without even a phone call, is highly unprofessional. Mind you I've never missed a payment I even made a payment the day before they took the vehicle. When I spoke with the reinstatement department (they were extremely helpful and nice) they explained that when I declined the latest offer the clock started ticking. now I didn't accept that offer because they only had 3 vehicles (trailblazers) which is a huge step down and my payments would go from $255 a month to 1.5x that plus another $5000.00 down or receive an extension and wait for more vehicles as per instructions from my sales rep Ms. Nova, I choose the later. The reinstatement dept also explained that when they called the dealership Bical Chevrolet and asked what's my status they were told I didn't have one. I feel this is a grand opportunity for my sales rep to call me considering the fact I'm waiting on more vehicles. Ms. Nova and I have at least 20-30 prior calls and texts messages, this part is even more shocking. I reached out to Ms. Novadene only to have her hang-up (decline) my phone call twice.
