They are con artist I traded my Jeep back 12/27/18 they had a 10 day pay off they never paid off the vehicle let me stuck with the car payment for a car they had in their possession. Last year I leased a Honda pilot from JYD and returned a Jeep Compass. I received a call from a collection company stating that i owe money on the compass that i already returned through JYD. They assured me that everything will be taken care of (the bill) and that i will not have any issues going forward. I have been emailing and contacting everyone including the owner "Anthony" but to no avail for the past 6 months. No one answers emails and everyone that deals with this situation is suddenly on "Vacation". I called inquiring about a lease just to see the outcome and and everyone was willing to help but for my situation no one is still available Very unprofessional. After the disappointing news of JYD reneging on the offer they claimed to match from Levittown Ford - I'm happy to say that Levittown ford, even though I was a day late (because I was lied to by JYD) honored the original lease offer and Within a day of me contacting them I was driving out of there dealership in my brand new 2020 explorer. Do NOT do business with this company! I worked in auto finance for 8 years. I left that job after unfortunate situations causing me to not be in the top credit tier. I worked with Esther who was wonderful. Once it came down to finance, I explained from the beginning how I was not in dyer need of a vehicle but was interested in my opinions. Further explaining how I know my situat ion so again, if nothing can be done to where I can afford it, with my trade in, it is completely fine. Shoot to the following day after Anthony, the finance manager, calls me to tell me what he got done. I said I couldn't afford it so I'd have to pass. He followed up by INSULTING me without even knowing me. Now, as I started off saying, I worked in auto finance for 8 years. Never ONCE in all 8 years did I hear someone insult a customer. You do not judge someone or say anything when you know nothing about their history. That is not your place. When I called to complain I spoke with another manager who apologized and said he would try to help. The following day, I receive a call telling me that Anthony never even submitted my loan with my trade but instead, they suggest I just allow my car to be repossessed. I was absolutely baffled by hearing that. Not only that you would suggest that to a customer but to a customer that knows every in and out of the business. By suggesting that, you're telling me that you want my business but you want me to be screwed over forever. But thank god you got your sale! With dishonesty, unprofessionalism and disrespect, I would never suggest this company to anyone. If I treated customers the way I was treated when in the industry, I would've been fired. Had an awful experience which I am still trying to sort out. Everything seemed great, but as soon as I gave them my payment it went downhill. Every thing we were told was a complete lie. The vin number of the car changed about 5 times before I even got the car. I had to keep calling my insurance company to switch it. Was told they were going to cover the last 2 months of previous my lease and found out they did not pay this. I paid for 2 cars for 2 months. This wasn't even the worst of it. OMG BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JYD!!! Here's why: Attempted to purchase a truck for father's day. I was promised the truck would be delivered but that didn't happen. I had to drive from Westchester to Long Island to pick up the truck. -Color choices were grey, red or bullet silver. I choose red but got a burgundy truck. -The truck wasn't clean. Both the outside and inside were very dusty. No gas. The radio didn't work. JYD associate said there was some kind of system wide update being done and that should fix the radio. That was a lie. I called the JYD, they SAID they were going to look into this for me and call back, didn't happen. I went to my local dealership and they said a cable was loose and if JYD inspected the truck like they were supposed to they would have known. **More time wasted. -At the start of August I was contacted by my insurance company, they were going to cancel my insurance because JYD didn't send the required information. (though this was fixed w/o any follow up). - Initially JYD said they were going to buy out my Civic from Honda. Then minds changed and they're going to payoff the lease and send it back... JYD HAS RUINED MY CREDIT! I purchased the truck mid June. My Civic car note was due the 28th of each month. JYD made a payment in at the start of July. After that nothing! - JYD also took a long time getting all paperwork in order. So apparently JYD made the first care note on my behalf because the bank needed to be paid, the paperwork wasn't complete and I never received an invoice. Naturally JYD wanted their payment back. However I still had this damaged truck. I told them I'd give them the money when the truck was fixed. I thought that was more than fair. Well the truck never got fixed. And Honda does not care! Yes JYD made one car payment to Honda while they were "finishing the paperwork" on July 16th but that was it! Fast forward to October I've been getting harassing calls from Honda because the car note was due. That's 3MONTHS OF NO PAYMENTS TO HONDA. The money I owed to JYD, I paid to Honda mid October (discussed with JYD). Verdel said he would take care of the remaining lease amount. Yet it's the end of November and Honda has not been paid. I keep getting nasty calls, at all hours of the day and night. They wont return my calls. The truck is still damaged. Wish I never bought this damn truck. TO DATE MY CICI HAS NOT BEEN PAID. After seeing JYD all over instagram, I gave them a call on February 20th looking for a quote on a car. At that point, I had already shopped around, and Dean was able to beat my lowest price and told me that JYD delivers. As a mom of two little kids, the thought of getting a new car without stepping foot in a dealership with two munchkins was amazing, and that alone had me ready to sign. We agreed on a price, they took all my information, did a credit check, and Dean told me he'd call me within a few days to set up delivery. Over the next few weeks, I got 2-3 calls from Frank and a few texts from Dean letting me know that they were looking for the car I wanted and were unable to find it. I even gave them two different color options, but supposedly they were unable to find either one. Frank had a few leads, but as per Dean on March 24th, nothing was definite, and they'd let me know when it was. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to wait for my car. After all, they're a leasing company and they'll definitely find it, right? However, I never heard from them again. On April 11th, more than seven weeks after I "made a deal" with JYD, I walked into a dealership, and walked out with the exact car I wanted within two hours. Oh, and they beat JYD's price by $19 a month. Not sure why they were unable to find the car, or why they gave me the run around and eventually brushed me off... but needless to say, I will never deal with a leasing company again, especially not this one. read more

BUYER BEWARE: I would like to give a huge THUMBS DOWN to JYD auto leasing group in Howard Beach, NY. We used them to lease a Chrysler and were told by them ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS that if we leased another car from the same brand we would NOT be responsible for a $395 disposition fee charged at the end of our current lease. Before signing the papers to lease another Chrysler, we again asked about this fee and were told that we would not be responsible for this fee and when/if we received a bill from Chrysler we should fax it to JYD and they would take care of it with Chrysler. We received a bill from Chrysler, spoke to the sales rep at JYD who said it would be taken care of, no problem. We emailed it to JYD (as per our conversation that day) and received no response for almost one full month. Yesterday, We received a phone call from Chrysler again. We called JYD and now we are being told that "they don't recall saying that" to us. Since they used a different bank for the lease that it probably doesn't count as a Chrysler lease and therefore they probably cannot do anything about the $395 fee but we can call Chrysler and try to argue that we shouldn't have to pay it. She explained that, "sometimes you get lucky and Chrysler doesn't catch it and you don't have to pay". Obviously, this is an issue that has come up in the past and perhaps she was banking on that chance when we were blatantly lied to regarding this fee. This was a "bait and switch" tactic to make a quick sale. We were completely mis-led and lied to multiple times by more than one person at the JYD auto group. While they "understand" our frustration, we were told tonight that there's nothing they can do for us. We are incredibly disappointed in the lack of professionalism that at least three of the sales reps/managers have demonstrated to us in this matter and hope that no one else falls victim to their dirty lies and tactics. read more

I asked them about a Lexus, and a Cadillac. The person I spoke with could not even give me a price on the Lexus, and told me a story about what the price was a week ago when he last sold someone a Cadillac truck. He told me he'd have to call me back. Over an hour later he called me back, and gave me pricing which seemed to be the same; if not higher, than the local Lexus and Cadillac dealer. read more

I just want to take the time to commend the young lady Megan who handles the rental and DMV service department at JYD Auto Leasing and Sales. Megan was so kind and helpful from the very beginning of my dilemma. I got into a terrible accident and she provided me with a great rental car at no out of pocket expense to me. She handled everything with my insurance company and billed them directly. My car was deemed a total loss and she assisted me in returning my license plates and canceling my insurance.
