    Back of the car involved in my review

    I bought a 2019 Mercedes GLC Coupé from Certified Performance Motors. Two months after purchase, the car broke down on the road. It's been in their service department for over 40 days, with no clear timeline for repair. I'm still paying the car loan and insurance premiums. I politely requested a courtesy vehicle while waiting for updates, but they ignored my request and are now avoiding my calls. If anyone have any suggestions on what I can do please help

    UPDATE!!! I'm updating my review to reflect continued issues with Certified Performance Motors beyond my original complaint. After I posted about their fraudulent financing practices and hidden fees, I received a call from Sami at the dealership. He offered to write me a $1,000 check in exchange for deleting the review and signing paperwork stating I had no further business with them. I did not agree to this, as I felt it was an attempt to silence my honest experience rather than resolve the issue transparently. More recently, I discovered that the vehicle I purchased has an undisclosed safety recall that was never mentioned at the time of sale. When I called to ask about it, I was repeatedly placed on hold or ignored after identifying myself -- further proving how they avoid accountability instead of helping their customers. This dealership has shown a pattern of deception, avoidance, and unethical behavior. I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with them to be extremely cautious. Check for recalls independently, have all documents reviewed by a third party, and keep a detailed record of every interaction. 2months ago I had a deeply disappointing experience with "certified performance motors" and feel compelled to share my experience to inform potential customers. Unfortunately, I encountered fraudulent practices during my transaction. Specifically, misrepresenting the financing terms while also adding hidden fees. Upon discovering the discrepancy, I reached out to the dealership in an effort to resolve the situation. However, I was met with dismissive behaviour and a lack of accountability, This response, coupled with the initial misconduct, reflects a concerning lack of integrity and customer care. I encourage prospective buyers to exercise caution when dealing with this business. Ensure all agreements are thoroughly documented, review contracts carefully, and consider seeking independent inspections or legal advice before finalizing any purchase. I am in the process of reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the state attorney general, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to help protect other consumers. Trust and transparency are fundamental in any business transaction, and unfortunately, my experience with "certified performance motors" fell far short of those standards.

    Check engine light

    First the bait and switch where the cars I wanted were listed for $20k and $30k but cost me $30k and $38k. Then the finance manager discriminated against me suspecting fraud and delayed delivery by 4 days. Then after purchase, I found that the cars (I purchased 2 Maseratis) had not been serviced despite updated service stickers in the window with grossly inaccurate recommended maintenance schedule and then 1 of the cars' check engine light came on and they've "fixed" it 3 times but it keeps coming back on. My temp tags are now expired but I can't get hard tags because the car can't pass inspection with the check engine light. I'm repeatedly pulled over and ticketed for my expired tags when going back and forth to the dealership. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I would not recommend purchasing here.

I expected professional service; instead, I was subjected to a predatory "stewing" tactic that lasted from 2:00 PM until after dark. To those who say 'you could have just walked out': When a dealership takes your keys for an appraisal and refuses to return them after three explicit requests, you are no longer a customer--you are being detained by the withholding of your only means of transportation. As an out-of-state visitor with no other way to leave, I was effectively trapped. I didn't sign a $915/month lease because I wanted a deal; I signed because it was the only way to get my property back and finally go home. 1. The Insurance Sabotage: To hide the true cost of this $915 note, the staff committed a blatant act of financial sabotage. Without my knowledge or consent, they fudged my insurance policy to liability-only just to show a "cheap" quote. This left me legally exposed, in breach of my lease, and facing a $500/month insurance correction ($1,400 total monthly) once I restored the required full coverage. 2. The Math: After $2,000 down, I am paying over $54,000 for a truck valued at $40k-$45k. This was not a "favor"; it was a calculated exploitation of a service member. PUBLIC NOTICE: If you have been held against your will, had your property withheld, or had your insurance tampered with at this location, do not stay silent. Report these facts immediately to: Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs: (516) 571-2600 NY Dept. of Financial Services (Insurance Fraud Division): (888) 372-8369 These agencies need to be made aware of these practices. Veterans and travelers, stay far away from this establishment. They do not respect your service, your time, or the law.

    I've been going to this place for the past 3 years and it never fails to disappoint me…read more Today I went in for tire rotation and oil change. It took 2 1/2 hours before I decided that I was gonna check on the car, during the timeframe I was sitting there I got no update, on what was happening with the car, but this is not unusual this is the norm for this location. I asked if the car was ready. Advisor said give him two minutes 20 min passed still nothing. I got up and went to advisor he Said it's gonna be another two minutes. Finally, I got the receipt, I paid and went to the valet, He said give him a minute he need to have some move the car that was parked in front of my mine, which means my car had been done and sitting there for a while. As I left the lot, I noticed the front left tire was lower than the usual 34 it was at 31, and the other three was at 33 when it's usually @35,36. So I went back, I spoke with the attendance supervisor about the issue, I ask him if his engineer can't make sure that the tires pressure is good on a car after it has been service, how should I be comfortable knowing that my car wheels don't fall off, if they can't do a simple thing as making sure the tire pressure is good after service. He was very dismissive told me let's go outside and talk, But instead, he walked me to my car Open my door and practically sit me in the car, to avoid the complaint. On my way home, I called my husband and I told him what happened He said if they had rotated the tires, the front left shouldn't been the Lowest Pressure tier still, not possible which, leads me to believe that they never did rotate the tire. They just changed for the Service and said they did it. I do not trust this service location.

Met with RIck who completed all of our paperwork the next day and we were able to walk out with the title. They gave us all the paperwork we needed since we were registering the vehicle in Arizona. Drove the CRV to Arizona and have put 8000 miles on it and haven't had any problems!!
