Stephen gave us a lucky coin for our new car...what a great guy!

Buying/leasing a car is a hassle. I know this because I'm on my 5th lease. The staff at Valley Stream Mazda make this process stress free. This is my 2nd lease with this dealership and I had the pleasure of working with Stephen. He is one of a kind and truly an exceptional human being! He made this process so easy and went above and beyond in so many ways. You can tell he takes great pride in his work. I also get my car serviced here and am pleased with the service. I've leased with other car dealers and they only care about making money off of you. This might not be the flashiest dealership, but they get the job done and done correctly. Thank you to the staff here especially Stephen and manager Dave!

I got a CX 30 yesterday at this dealership, Kareem was my salesman, he was professional, and answered all my questions. I gave this review four stars not because of him, but because of my experience with the finance manager. I understand he was doing his job and trying to make the most money for him and the dealership, but he was trying to push stuff to make the amount go higher and providing bs reasons when he was fluctuating the interest rate and monthly payments. My overall experience with Kareem will definitely bring me back here, and recommend others to him.

I had an extremely pleasant service and buying experience with Mazda of Valley Stream. My father and I purchased a brand new 2020 Mazda3 Hatchback from this dealership approximately 1 year ago. It was a fairly painless, transparent, and good-faith buying process. I recall the sales manager being extremely helpful, and the dealership also keep's an excellent selection of vehicles. I say this because my father and I were in the market for a new stick-shift Mazda3 (which is very rare to find) and this dealership had three manual Mazda3's in stock! Our Mazda is also the perfect specification, and we have since been very happy with our purchase. I made the mistake of taking my Mazda3 to Koeppel Mazda for windshield damage. Koeppel was not transparent about their process with fixing my car, basically lying to me that it would be their technicians fixing the windshield (when it is really an aftermarket company). On top of this, a customer backed up into my vehicle at Koeppel, and Koeppel's service manager was rude, secretive, and downright disrespectful to us as customers. They are an extremely negligent department. I say this because Mazda of Valley Stream was 10x better of an experience. We called ahead, scheduled a date for our first complementary service. Our service advisor was prompt in meeting us inside the dealership, gave us a correct estimate for the service costs and time to complete the service, and even complemented the rarity of our automobile. The service, which included an oil change, inspection, and computer module reset took less than 2hrs and was the most convenient and prompt experience yet. Our service manager even provided us with a voucher for a free car wash. If you live in the NYC area, Mazda of Valley Stream is worth the drive to get your car taken care of.

THIS IS STRICTLY FOR SERVICE! I arrived at 8:10 am for my appointment last week Wednesday morning. I have a scrap on my wheels. And I was in disbelief to encounter a service individual to be this rude on such an early morning. I brushed it off and gave the key, and confirmed the car. I came across him upon pulling up to the dealership lot the next day over the 24 hours gap period I was given to pick up the vehicle; 1:50 pm to be exact. And Brian's display of rudeness slowly and slowly started to escalate. We went back and forth about why I was there since he didn't call me first, but then I was only there because he said to come 24 hours later, two past noon for extra time. After miles of frustrated back and forth conversation, I had decided to take the vehicle with me, so I didn't have to deal with him anymore. My question to Mazda is, I have tires and wheels insurance package, and that's not the problem, so why are you allowing this guy to be the problem? My brand new vehicle is only three weeks old! I'm not sure what happened between him and his buddies at the mechanic. They returned the vehicle to me with scratches and chips, which, if I were to sell them the vehicle, it would have cost me thousands in decreasing value. The oil grease fingerprints from the steering wheel and surround was easier to remove. Hopefully next time they can return my vehicle back to me the same way I gave it to them.

A mis hermanos latinos: no sean víctimas de estos estafadores…read more I am a Veteran who made the mistake of stopping at Advantage Toyota of Valley Stream while traveling from out of state. I expected professional service; instead, I was subjected to a predatory "stewing" tactic that lasted from 2:00 PM until after dark. To those who say 'you could have just walked out': When a dealership takes your keys for an appraisal and refuses to return them after three explicit requests, you are no longer a customer--you are being detained by the withholding of your only means of transportation. As an out-of-state visitor with no other way to leave, I was effectively trapped. I didn't sign a $915/month lease because I wanted a deal; I signed because it was the only way to get my property back and finally go home. 1. The Insurance Sabotage: To hide the true cost of this $915 note, the staff committed a blatant act of financial sabotage. Without my knowledge or consent, they fudged my insurance policy to liability-only just to show a "cheap" quote. This left me legally exposed, in breach of my lease, and facing a $500/month insurance correction ($1,400 total monthly) once I restored the required full coverage. 2. The Math: After $2,000 down, I am paying over $54,000 for a truck valued at $40k-$45k. This was not a "favor"; it was a calculated exploitation of a service member. They're buying fake reviews so that they don't have 1 star on here. This dealership are the definition of bait and switch and false advertising. They deserve to be fully shutdown so that they can no longer swindle customers as they are so clearly doing every single day. Here was our experience... I reached out about a 2025 Jeep Compass Limited. I was quickly connected with "Marvin" via text and over the phone. We proceeded to connect 4 more times before our appointment 5 days later, confirming types of payment that would be accepted and the terms, etc. A day before our appointment the link to the car that Marvin had sent us showed that the car had been sold. I called him to confirm and he said it was a glitch and the team was working to correct it. A bit later I clicked the link and then it showed the price of the car had almost doubled. Once again I called Marvin to see what was going on and he confirmed it was also a glitch being fixed. I then asked him to confirm the car was physically on the lot, to which he said yes. Then he said "see you at 12!". We did not in fact see him at 12, or ever. Because he didn't exist. When we walked into the dealership, they were blasting music at full volume and had to shout over it to ask us who/what we were there for. We told them and they directed us to some guy that was not Marvin. When I addressed this, the guy said "oh yeah, he doesn't work here, it's a 3rd party answering service" - red flag number 1. Then he immediately tried to tell me about another Jeep Compass Limited with less miles. I told him no, we are only interested in the car we came here for and he seemed inconvenienced. So he called someone and said "ok, it's at our other lot. I'll have them drive it over here". To which I said no, because I would like to test the engine with a cold start (most engine problems can be masked if you only start the car with an already warm engine). He said ok and that we could go over there. Then he said, actually, the car isn't here at all, it's still in transit and won't be here until Tuesday. So at this point I'm starting to lose track of the different lies. I get up and go ask the front desk to speak with a manager. The manager was Sammy. I laid everything out to him and he turned red as if he had been caught in these lies. He admitted to the third party answering service telling lies, he admitted the whole situation was messed up. Then, he offered to physically drive the car to our house in Brooklyn (an hour away) on Tuesday for a test drive when it arrived. I told him no because of the cold start. He then said, ok well please let me make it up to you in price. I said ok, call me on Tuesday. He said, I will take you off our call list and call you myself and hopefully we can make it a sale. Fast forward to Tuesday, not only did he not call. But I attempted to reach Sammy, Hassan, Angel, and the front desk more than 10 times to no avail. They were either screening my calls or knew they were caught in a lie and didn't want to deal with it anymore. Their business license should be revoked. Please be aware of all of this before spending your hard earned money and time here. 0 stars if possible.

I have a plug in hybrid on my current car and about 2 months ago it stopped charging, could not charge the car. Took to South shore service and for 2 days i was without a car and they never called me with any updates. i had to call them, would be told that they would call me back, never did. So i went and got the car because i need it for work , had no update at all from them on what might be the issue , was told when I got car that the "foreman" needs to look at it, but he was off. So 2 weeks later, after escalating to a service manage, i arranged to drop off car again and get a loner. 3 days after it being there i was told that they were able to charge it. I said great, what did you do? They said they were able to charge it, no details on how. I asked if it could be my cord, they said repeatedly they did not understand my questions. When i went to pick up the car i brought my cord and plugged it in out South Shore and it would not charge, they told me they were "bad outlets". I once again asked them how they charged my car, maybe we could use the good outlet so i can check if it is my cord and I was told they did not understand my question. This went on for quite some time. it was as id they were all pleading the5th. Hate to say it, but bottom line they just did not care at all. So now i need to continue to put gas in my plug in car while gas prices are extremely high. Its a shame but i am not dealing with it anymore, when my lease is over i will drop car off and never deal with them or probably Hyundai ever again. Life is too short. Stay away from SS Hyundai!
