Exceptional! To start, the website was user friendly and making an appointment was very easy. The beeline bike van showed up at our house on time and we were warmly greeted by Mark the bicycle mechanic. Mark was friendly, very knowledgeable, and brought with him a wealth of experience. Mark was so helpful and showed us how we got into trouble with my brothers bike in the first place. This was important, as we can avoid this type of brake repair in the future. Prices were very reasonable and not having to take the bike back and forth to a store front was wonderful! Mark was also knowledgeable on the best places to ride in our area and took the time to discuss with us where would be best for beginner trails etc. We will be using Mark's services from here on out for all of our bicycle repair needs. I would not let anyone other than Mark work on my bike. That is the short review. Here is the longer one. I moved to New Mexico almost five years ago. I came here with a custom bike with a frame built by Seven Cycles. I had an amazing mechanic in Vermont who built it for me after hip replacement surgery made it difficult for me to ride my old bike. I have had three mechanics in New Mexico work on my bike since, and every year that I have been here, the quality of that bike has been worse. I was so discouraged that I even considered sending it back to my original mechanic to rehabilitate it. Then I found Mark. He is amazing. He quickly diagnosed a horrible screeching sound I had on downhill coast. The bike now rides perfectly. It is like I have gone from a Ford Pinto to a Maserati. The bike is perfect. And do not think that Mark is only good for high end, custom bikes. Mike is not a bike snob. He is a good person with a lovely puppy named Leeloo. Hire him for whatever you need bike-wise. read more

Mark was prompt to contact me, despite going through a business/name change. I could have gotten "lost in the system" with Beeline, but he made sure we connected. He came to my place and spent well over 3 hours cleaning, adjusting, and repairing our two neglected bikes top to bottom. His technical background shows in the minor adjustments he made that most repair shops would have overlooked. His prices were very reasonable considering the cost of new bikes. And being new to the area, Mark filled us in on the best Albuquerque has to offer. Our oldies but goodies now look and operate like new, thanks to Mark's knowledge and care. read more

I can't recommend Bici-Fixx enough. I love cycling but it has been so hard to get a new bike due to inventory shortages. I was able to order a bike over the internet - but the wait time to get it assembled at a shop was pretty lengthy. I found Bici-Fixx and the service was amazing. Mark came out to our home, assembled the bike very quickly - and I've been ecstatic with the way it rides. I agree with the other reviews - scheduling on the website is super easy - and it is so nice not to have to drive your bike to the nearest shop. Just fantastic service. read more

One word: WOW! A friend had a flat, we called Mark, he came in about 20 minutes, he fixed the flat in about ten minutes, he charged a fair price - perhaps too cheap even - and he was kind, funny, and professional. Bee Line bikes is a great concept.....the bike shop comes to you! We found this great little gem of a service on line when my wife's bike needed some basic service Mark came out the very next day on a Sunday. Turned out the bike tires were not flat so no charge-we were amazed. Mark is a fun guy with lots of great local biking info and since we both spent time in the Bay Area had a great time talking and just enjoying the camaraderie. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Bici-Fixx. I have two bikes that have sat in the shed for four years. I made two appointments back to back for "major tune-ups". The appointment process was easy and I received reminders about the time in the days leading up. Mark showed up on time and was knowledgeable and honest about the work that needed to be done for my bikes to be operational again. He set up shop in front of my house and, within a few hours, both of my bicycles were road worthy again. The best part was, I paid a lot less than I was expecting because the work was prorated for the time he was actually working at my house. Mark is the man! My friend blew out a tire on the great divide mountain bike trail and he was limping into Grants, NM where there was no bike shop. We found Beeline on Yelp and Mark drove the hour the next morning from Albuquerque to Grants to work on the bike in his well-equipped truck. He is a colorful guy with a lot of great stories. We rode out of there in the afternoon with a trued-rear wheel with a brand new tire. Lifesaver!! read more

Getting my kiddoes' bikes repaired and tuned up has always been a little bit of an intimidating experience for me, I don't speak "bike." However with Mark at Beeline Bike I didn't feel like I needed to speak "bike". He fixed my son's flat tire, adjusted his brakes and oiled the chain. (I bet "oiled" it not the correct word.) He brought his amazing mobile shop to the house and fixed my son's bike lickety-split. Next time I need a repair I will be calling Mark at Beeline Bike. read more

We used Beeline Bikes today getting tune up and tube replacements. Mark was awesome! Was here on time and left our bikes like new. This is such a great service. History

Established in 2016.

In February of 2016 Mark (an Albuquerque native) returned to New Mexico after 20 years of living in San Francisco. Originally he had moved to SF to work as a Silicon Valley engineer but then retired from that industry in 2003 to continue with his true passion for riding and working on bicycles. With his many years of experience as a competitive cyclist, team manager, and team mechanic he began to pursue his dream of owning a bicycle shop in San Francisco. That had Mark serving as a bike tech, service manager, store manager, volume buyer, bike shop build-out principal and small business owner. The San Francisco real estate market eventually made it very difficult to continue living and working there in the Bay Area. So Mark decided to return to New Mexico, continue working with bicycles and launch his mobile bike shop, Beeline Bikes-Albuquerque.

Meet the Business Owner: Mark A.

My passion for working on Bicycles began 35+ years ago while I was preparing for a bicycle tour down the West Coast from Seattle to San Francisco. At that time, I learned to perform minor maintenance on bicycles. Shortly thereafter I became a competitive cyclist. While staying active racing my bike through the years, I later served domestically and internationally as a mentor, coach, and mechanic. Along the way I have remained up to date on the current component technologies and still possess the same passion for cycling as I did on day one. I still enjoy all types of riding, especially Road, Mountain, Commuting, and Track cycling.

Outstanding service. Mark is timely, professional, and enthusiastic about his mobile bicycle repair business. He literally brings his shop to you in a fully upfitted high roof van. He pays attention to the details in every aspect of his business from the ease of use website to smooth telephone conversations to updates on his travel to your place. Mark arrived here right on time and finished the repair on a tadpole trike that would have been a pain to get to a bike shop. He took time to explain what went wrong with my trike and how he went about repairing it. This guy instills confidence that you aren't likely to be stranded miles from home. Ok, nobody is guaranteeing you don't run into the dreaded goat head but Mark even filled the tire with sealant "just in case." Mark isn't just about repairing your bike, he is about ensuring you have an enjoyable cycling experience. Even if you can load your bike in the back of the SUV and go to the LBS, I would urge you to give Mark at Bici-Fixx a call. I think you'll be pleased that you did. I certainly am. read more

Mark the owner came out to fix a 29 inch bike I had purchased. He came out 2 times because of the excellent service the first time. Then mark told m we straight up that I have a cheap bike with cheap parts. He then said he was going to bring me a real bike. We'll He did! So I payed it forward and gave someone my 29 inch bike. Mark delivered to me free of charge a 26 inch trek bike . I have put 1 zillion miles on this bike all around slbuquerque. Mark your kind heart and good nature has helped my family and I tremendously . Words can't even describe how much your gift to me meant. Cant say enough good things about Mark and his mobile bike shop. Im in midst of cross-country solo bike trip colon cancer coalition and he saved the day. After assessing the condition of my touring bike, I believe he said something about "running on fumes." The front derailleur was a mess; brake pads were out of alignment; one pedal crank arm was insufficiently secured; and the rear wheel resembled a square. Mark patiently explained what he was adjusting and why. He worked through each item completely. I am much more confident about my trip's outlook. I highly recommend the value of Bici-Fixx read more

Last week I saw the Beeline Mobile bike shop parked at someones house in my neighborhood. Rather than having to load, transport and wait to get my bicycle back from a shop, I had the pleasant experience of having it tuned up and a pet basket installed - right in my driveway. Mark thought to ask me if I had sealant in my tires, which I didn't and now I do. I suspect this will save me a service call in the future given how Goat's heads have caused my tires problems in the past. I would highly recommend this as an alternative, whether you need a spring tune up or any type of repair. read more

Mark has decades of experience as a pro bike mechanic, and he is a pro-rated racer himself, so assembling the two bikes I had shipped to Albuquerque was a simple job for him. It was fantastic to have someone of his experience tune-up our bikes, which rode beautifully on our first ride. Mark made time for us on a holiday weekend, on short notice, and best of all, he came to us with his fully-equipped mobile bike shop. The price charged was very fair, and the service was fantastic. My mountain bike was having trouble shifting and I made an appointment for Bici-Fixx to come to see what was wrong. Mark was at my house early, took my bike while I was on a conference call. When I finish my call, Mark had repaired my bike. I don't know what kind of Bici-Fixx magic happened in the repair van but, my bike doesn't fight me anymore and I can use all my gears! I had not ridden my old well-worn and barely rideable mountain bike for many years. To get back into riding I decided to have Mark recondition the bike rather than buying something newer. The results were amazing. It now rides as easily and smoothly as it did when new. I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend Mark. Mark fixed our 30 years old/10 years unused bicycles. Due to Covid 19, our gym is closed, and we need to get some exercise besides walking. Mark removed all the oily gunk from all the moving parts, including but not limited to gear cables, chain, gears. He also renewed the tubes and tires, which last time we used them were leaky.
