Called and went right down. Gator put new tubes with sealant in and adjusted everything. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend for bike repair needs. Very knowledgeable.

Signed up for BICI at the Earth Day celebration on Civic Plaza, despite having 5 bikes back at home…read more(4 bikes at home plus the one I was riding, actually). $25 for annual membership seemed too good to be true, plus I loved the idea of having Bike Share here in the Duke City. It turns out that I actually use it quite a bit. Since I live Downtown, I walk a lot. Several times I've been out walking, and to save time, I've grabbed a bike to speed up my journey. Sometimes we even purposefully leave our bikes at home and get a BICI. The bikes are very comfortable, the seats fully adjustable, the basket is handy for carrying things, and the step through frame makes it easy to mount since you don't have to throw your leg over the seat. You can use either the APP if you have a smartphone, or text (smart or non-smartphone). Both are easy after you've done it once. Customer service is helpful too. This is a great amenity for ABQ! Give it a try!

Took my first official bici ride today! I joined the program by signing up online through Zagster…read moreand paid the $25 fee for an annual membership. I downloaded the Zagster app and as I was walking downtown this afternoon, I passed one of the stations and decided to give it a go! I boarded at the PNM station, but check the app for all the different options. They're throughout downtown Albuquerque and extend to the BioPark (Old Town) and to the National Hispanic Cultural Center. For the first year if the program (so through May 2016) they're doing "first 90 minutes free". So as long as you've paid your membership fee, any rides under 1.5 hours will be totally free. Pretty sweet! They also offer monthly ($15) and 1 day ($3) memberships. Check their website for the updated rates for longer rentals. The bikes themselves are cruisers and pretty cushy. They each have 8 gears, a wide seat, a basket, and a bell. So you won't be doing the Tour de France on these babies, but they'll get you around town with ease. The "check out" process is a little complicated, but after doing it once, I get it. You have to access the app and type in the bike number, which then allows you to start a ride and use a code to unlock the bike lock key. Throw the lock in your basket and away you go! During the online signup, I'm pretty you sign a waiver that basically removes Zagster from liability if you get hurt on the bike. So wear your helmet and bike defensively folks! Awesome program. I'm so glad we have a bike share in Albuquerque!

Two friends and I from San Francisco visited Albuquerque this past summer and were fortunate enough…read moreto have David and Jenny as our hosts. David took the three of us to a local bike shop to rent bikes for the day and led us on a fun adventure throughout Albuquerque. He was very knowledgeable about the town and the different bike routes that would be enjoyable. Our first stop was to a quaint and secluded breakfast spot where we sat in a nicely shaded garden and sipped our morning coffee before heading out to a local winery, Casa Rodena. The ride there was nicely paced and I got to enjoy all the views. I'm not an avid bike rider so I'm usually in the back of the pack, but I never felt rushed or left behind. We rode through a quiet part of town and I enjoyed seeing the traditional adobe style homes along the way. When we arrived at the winery, we did a few tastings and then bought a bottle of our favorite one and sat in the back patio. The winery itself is very nice and peaceful. We all had a great time just chatting and relaxing among the shaded trees. Lastly, David took us to Old Town where we had a chance to stroll the plaza and visit the merchants. My favorite site there was the Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, which has a lot of character and charm. I had a great time exploring Albuquerque on bike and would definitely do it again. David was a great guide and made our trip very enjoyable and memorable. My friends and I felt well taken care of and couldn't have asked for a better host!
