Unresolved Payment Issue with Bidlane. I recently sold my 2020 Honda Civic Sport to Bidlane on September 2, 2023 at there LAX- Inglewood location and I've been facing significant issues since then. Unfortunately, as of today, September 14, 2023, payment had not been issued for the sale, and my attempts to communicate with Bidlane have been futile. There is no answer when calling and I've emailed multiple times. I received 1 text communication on 9/6/23 from Nicole from the "Bidlane car Buying Center" with a tracking number that reflects no check has been received. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. When I initially decided to sell my car through Bidlane, I expected a smooth and straightforward transaction. However, the fact that they have not issued payment for the vehicle two weeks after the sale is deeply concerning. I've made multiple attempts to contact Bidlane to inquire about the status of the payment, but I have not received any response or clarification regarding the delay. A check was supposed to be issued but that takes long and via email requested to electronic payment to Honda Finance Exchange Inc. This lack of communication and transparency has left me feeling unsupported and uncertain about the situation. I would have appreciated a more professional and proactive approach from Bidlane in resolving this matter. It's essential for businesses to uphold their commitments and maintain open lines of communication with their customers. I hope that Bidlane can address this issue promptly and provide the payment that is rightfully owed. This experience has left me with a negative impression, and after reviewing the Yelp and google negative reviews you can see the same issue continuously happens at the pay out phase. Lorena claimed I was already called yesterday (9/13/23) by "management" she didn't want to give me a name, stating they have helped me but that was not true because no one called me and claimed its only been 9 business days but the car was sold and handed off with keys on 9/2/2023 (today is 9/14/23). UPDATE: 9/14/23 11:03am Was told by "Nicole" via text the check was sent and handed off by her personally and that USPS misplaced or lost it. However, I was able to verify that they never submitted the check to USPS per the tracking number they provided. I texted back showing her screenshots of me verifying USPS never got anything but pre-shipment info on 9/7/23. UPDATE: 9/14/23 11:43am Got a text response from Nicole, re-stating the check was handed personally be her self and the check was misplaced or lost on USPS end. Claimed that she will open a claim or re-issue a new check. She said she will follow up by the end of day today 9/14/23. UPDATE: 9/14/23 12:53pm I called USPS my self. Verified that only a electronic notice was sent to USPS on 9/7/23 and nothing was dropped off. At 1:06pm I sent a text to Nicole informing her of my findings and sent a screenshot to back up my findings that USPS has never taken possession of the alleged Check that was claimed to be dropped off personally. UPDATE 9/19/23 Its Tuesday, haven't gotten a call back from "Nicole" who said she was going to contact me yesterday Monday with an update they they check was going to be re-issued. read more

Pro: They offered me more $ than I expected and they did pay eventually. Con: They take your vehicle without payment and make you sign a contract that you will be paid in about 7 days. Spoiler alert: They don't pay in 7 days. They avoid your calls and emails for weeks. They only responded after I threatened multiple times to go down to their office with a camera and make them famous. Finally "Susan" emailed me saying that my bank info was wrong and that they had tried to wire the money but it didn't work. That was a lie. My bank info was correct. After another week of threats and emails, they FINALLY wired me the money. Took about 3 weeks. Use your best judgement on this place. Look at all the positive reviews, it's about the experience selling the car, and not about actually getting the payment after selling them the car. I sold my car on 8/11/2023 with a contracted wire transfer deposit date of 8/18/2023. Received text messages on 8/21 and 8/22 wire transfer submitted. No money ever showed up. I wanted to sell my Prius and did a few online quotes along with KBB to see what I could get for it. In the process, I stumbled across Bidlane. I brought it by for a quote and they didn't lie... It really only took about 15-20 min and that was without an appointment. Patrick was super helpful and kind. He answered all my questions. The quote initially came back incredibly low. He made a few calls and was able to get it increased by $1500! I needed some time to shop around and he was very understanding of that. Guess why I'm writing this crappy review? Now, I suppose I will have to waste my and my attorney's time by filing felony criminal charges against them for CPC476a and CPC 487 and suing them in civil court for treble damages and legal fees when they could've just paid up as required or even just communicated whatever the problem causing the delay might be. Just had an excellent - smooth and easy - experience selling our car to BidLane in Inglewood. Worked with Christian and I cannot say enough. I was referred to BidLane by a car dealer who said I would get more money for my car from a buyer compared to the trade in offer at the dealership. When I went to Car Max I was offered less than the dealer trade-in offer. The dealer offer wasn't so bad, but when I spoke with our salesman about the lower offer from Car Max he told me to go to BidLane. Went to BidLane and Christian took the car info and did inspection. I didn't tell him what the dealer was offering, but told him that it would take a healthy chunk over the trade in offer to have me seriously consider selling to them. I figured that "one stop shopping" at dealer was worth a convenience cost, plus I was not worried about the business deal. I had read some reviews here about BidLane and admit I wanted to be assured I would get paid In reasonable time. The offer from Christian was WAY over the dealer offer so I had to consider it. I needed to check with my wife and would do the deal the next day if she was onboard. During that day I spoke to Wells Fargo bank over the phone about payment from BidLaneI (their bank is Wells Fargo) and then I went in person to my local Wells Fargo branch to chat with them about getting paid from BidLane. The next day I brought our car documents with me to BidLane. Since I didn't have much time to waste that day I sent copies of our registration and title ahead of time to Christian so he could do as much work on things before I got there. My wife met me there. We signed the papers and we were on our way with a check. The money was posted to our account 3 business days after I got the check; it was 5 days including the weekend.
