Dicks had an IPO back in 2002 and trades on the NYSE under the ticket symbol DKS. Their retail prices are standard. But also some very reasonable pricing and great discounts & sales too. I still miss Sport Chalet and Sports Authority that unfortunately filed for Bankruptcy back in 2016. I also prefer to shop local and support the Mom & Pop shops. But brick and mortar sporting goods stores have become dinosaurs...so I've grown to like Dick's. It's become one of my go-to's when I prefer to try something on or experience the product prior, opposed to online shopping. And Dick's has much better quality brands and inventory compared to Big 5. Been to this location a handful of times, and each time made a purchase. I've also ordered from their website once because the size of the item I wanted wasn't in stock. The layout here is decent but the store itself is always clean and pretty well-stocked. There's usually a fair amount of store team members wandering around either stocking or tidying the sleeves & racks. A few of the Team Members here are very helpful & kind and seem to care about customer service and experiences. Reason for knocking off a star? Some of the team members here, as well as the ones at the check-out register, appear as what I call "dialing-it-in and punching a time clock" because they act as tho they don't wanna be here...and are too cool for the room. I wonder if this stems from management here...or they haven't a clue and my reason for pointing this out. Unfortunately, one of the rolls had a weird spot on it that wasn't 100% vulcanized and was semi deteriorated. I called Mike and he offered to bring me a roll but it would be later in the day. Since I had equipment coming Tuesday, I kinda needed it fast. I asked if I needed to return the roll and Mike said nope, that's yours now. I'll replace it and give you a second roll for your trouble. I was hitting each one a bit further then my own. My wife was with me watching the process. She is a golfer too. Brad suggested she hit a few balls with her clubs. She then hit some KZG 3 woods and hydrids. Brad gave her some valuable instruction on her swing. Here is the point of this review. At no time did Brad pressure her to buy clubs. In fact he suggested she use her current 3 wood more often and then in the future if she wanted to be fitted come back to see him. All that at no charge. A few months back, it started making noise after riding it for a few minutes. It was a loud noise, and you could feel it in the pedals. I was really worried that a major bearing was going out. After getting to the point where I was worried that I was doing damage to the unit I started looking for someone to serve it and tell me what was wrong. I contacted the manufacturer and they would have sent someone local out, but the price for the service charge was outrageous. I decided to turn to Yelp to help me find someone to service the bike, and that's where I found coast fitness. I called coast fitness and was put in contact with their service manager. He gave me some ideas of what could be wrong, and they were not nearly as bad as I was thinking. He gave me the price for just the service call, and it was reasonable.So I set an appointment for the next morning. The next morning , a super nice tech named Trisha came out and I showed her the problems I was experiencing. After listening to the noise, she said she was pretty sure that the bearings and my pedals were going out. She swapped out the pedals and then continued to listen for any possible thing that could be wrong with it , but there wasn't anything. I mentioned to her that I had contacted the manufacturer about getting a tech but how expensive it was. She said the funny thing is that they probably would've contacted Coast Fitness to come out and look at the bike. With the great experience I had , I would definitely recommend Coast Fitness for any exercise equipment that you have , that may need servicing.

Like the other gentleman stated, he never responds to text messages or answers the phone. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing Business with this gentleman under any circumstances. If you do, only pay him upon arrival or delivery of the equipment. My better judgment told me not to pay anything in advance but as I stated given to prior transactions with no problem I thought it was a safe thing to do. My mistake.
