A little old school (you have to sign the receipt to leave a tip), but really great bagels. You can order ahead online or just walk in and grab some--they've always had plenty when I've gone in. We love Big Apple on Olio! Although a bit smaller inside, there are several tables and a patio during nice weather, too. The menu has so many options from type of bagel, cream cheese flavors, and breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches. The different coffee flavors and teas are fun to try, too! I was so hoping this place would be good. The prices are unbeatable for a breakfast sandwich in the Fishers area. Even McDonals prices are getting high, and this was by far better than that. I ordered 2 toasted bagel sandwiches with sausage. The sausage was very bad. Didn't taste like normal sausage. And neither of my bagels got toasted. I feel like I might give them one more try, but I wasn't impressed unfortunately. read more

They were very busy in mid morning (10:30am). The positive was that the employees moved with a sense of urgency. The food wasn't that great compared to their other location in Fishers. Here, the bagels were dry. The egg and cheese bagel sandwich I got had little egg in it. I also ordered a bagel and cream cheese, but they gave it to me without the cream cheese. Unfortunately I didn't check the order when it was handed to me (I only ordered two things) and didn't discover it until I got home. Make sure to check your takeout order before you leave. read more

I was on the North side and stopped in for breakfast. I hoy an egg bagel and a coffee. The bagel was ok but had absolutely no seasoning and the coffee was ok. Would not be my first choice for breakfast but not terrible. read more

5 stars. On Mondays, we eat muffins! No, I'm not a mean girl...I'm a frugal one! $0.99 jumbo muffins are right up my alley. They are almost cake-like. Very reminiscent of pound cake and Jiffy cornbread, dense & sweet with a large crumb texture. You'll find traditional banana nut, blueberry and lemon poppy...decadent cherry cheesecake and double chocolate...versatile Cinnamon crumb and Boston Creme Pie. Plus, many more varieties that I've yet to even try! Any other day, we usually stick to the bagels. They are decent. Nothing earth-shattering, but I lived in New York for a few years - so, my bar is up there near Lady Liberty's torch. The cream cheese is made in-house, too, I'm pretty sure. The consistency is great, but you may need a little sprinkle of salt. I prefer my cheese a little more sharp. However, the Cheddar Bacon cream cheese is perfection. Every bite, literally, tastes like one of those big breakfasts your Grandma used to make when you'd visit. One bite, and you'll swear you are eating a plate of scrambled eggs with cheese, crispy bacon, and a piece of toast! It's uncanny, but so satisfying! Service is always good. I made a few special requests this last visit and was accommodated without question. I was almost out the door, but I had to turn around and dig out some cash to tip. I appreciate speedy, smiling, ACCURATE & ACCOMMODATING service. Masks and gloves were observed. And bonus points for sanitizing the pens after signing your receipt. Carryout only due to COVID. Such a shame, as this business was booming two years ago when the new owner took over. Now they are always out of things. They used to have all different kinds of flavored coffee now they're down to two regular and decaf and it is watered down. They have a sea rating for cleanliness on the door. If it wasn't for the two girls that have been there from the beginning. I don't think they would still be in business would still be in business. Quality has gone down considerably in everything. And they no longer stock all the different cream cheeses as well. read more

I've been going here for years and it's sad to see how terrible it's become. It use to be a place where friends could get together for breakfast/lunch and now the employees are so disrespectful and they're always out of everything! The last couple time I've gone they've been out of all their ingredients but this morning was by far the worst. This morning we got yelled at because we were waiting in a line outside the door and couldn't hear what the employee said she ran out of. The employee yelled at us (6, 24 year olds) and said "Did you hear me? We are out of egg. Have a nice day," pointing at the door. I've lived here for 22 years and use to go there every single morning during high school and loved meeting hometown friends when I came home from college at this establishment. Love that I can call and have a dozen or more with a couple of hours. They have Breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches on bagels. I had one and it was awesome! They have small containers with several flavored cream cheese. If you order a doz bagels you get a punch on a rewards card. I think its a free dozen after 7 order of a dozen. Big Apple Bagels is a franchise but everyone I have been to has its own personality and this one is no different. This was my first time at a big apple bagel and I didn't have a great experience. I ordered a breakfast BLT and it was served with wilted, slimy green leaf lettuce and a little light on the bacon. The everything bagel was good, but I had to reconstruct my sandwich to make it edible. On top of that, my wife's order was taken incorrectly and one of the kids muffins had slightly burnt icing. They had the same muffin so it was easy to spot. The ingredients are right, but the employees at this location need trained on freshness and quality standards. No way they would have served that to their family. read more
