I love this Perkins location. It has such a chill, Sunday morning vibe every day of the week! We enjoy going here to grab breakfast or a quick lunch from time to time. This past Sunday, we stopped in to do just that. We were seated in the furthest corner of the restaurant (a new area for us) and Julie was our server. She was great. We would definitely request to be seated in her section again. I had the Build Your Own Sampler with chicken tenders, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. My husband ordered the French Toast Platter. Everything was good. We also ordered dessert to go. They are also a bakery, so you can't go wrong with any of their baked goods. The food is always good - our frequent haunt for breakfast. However, at this visit the syrup mini pitcher was very, very sticky. When pointed out to the server, she wiped it with the rag used to clean tables and then doubled down by offering that rag to clean our hands. Tacky & questionable cleanliness practice. Went in on a Saturday for dinner, service was really bad and slow. I had to ask for a water refill, and there were no condiments on the table. I ordered an app, and when my food finally came, the waitress asked if we wanted her to put the appetizer order in; she never started the order. I got a burger, and it was so small and dry. He got the brioche French toast, and he said it was ok. He said the eggs were horrible. Also, there was one server for the whole night. Which multiplied the poor experience. read more

Perkins is one of my favorite places to go. Always good food, good coffee, and good service. This time we were a little frustrated but still pushed through. Some time went by and we noticed others getting their food before us. Wouldn't normally be a big deal because we all know that some food takes longer to cook than other food. The only thing was that the other customers ordered simple breakfast food (fried eggs, bacon, & pancakes) like us. Our server came back and told us she accidentally lost our order ticket. She said breakfast would be on her and we won't have to pay and then asked us our order again. The food came out and we were understanding and didn't cause a fuss. But when it was time to go, she said "I'm going to give you 25% off your order". I was very disappointed because we were understanding and thanked her and then she hit us with a discount instead of what she told us she was going to do. Great attitude and service. That's what keeps bringing my wife and I back. We make the 40 minute drive to Perkins to get our periodic breakfast food fix, driving past who knows how many other breakfast places. Not only has our food always been great, but service has always matched. Every time we go our server has been a young person. Don't buy into the stereotype of younger people. The staff has always been great to us. The kitchen gets the food out pretty quick and whoever is serving us always periodically checks on us to see I'd we need anything. That really makes a difference to us. I was just at Perkins a few weeks ago and just now got around to posting something. My husband and I love going to Perkins. I always have difficulty making a choice of what I want, their menu is a delight, pictures of pies, everything looks so good! We love breakfast meals anytime day or night and generally go to one of the many locally owned breakfast diners during the morning hours. However over the past 2 weeks we stopped in the afternoon/ evening at our local Perkins, and had excellent meals and service. I travel for work and I eat out at a lot of places. I went to this Perkins one morning and I will never eat breakfast anywhere else while in the Noblesville area. The staff makes you feel welcome with their hospitality every you walk through the doors. Bathrooms are always clean....one of my big pet peeves! I've been coming here for about 10 yrs now. It was breakfast time and our charming server hustled two carafes of steaming coffee to our table. I ordered the "Traditional Benedict." Was hungry for a hardy breakfast since I'm in town for a funeral. Perkins is always a staple/go to with my family. Over the years Jim dandy has declined and Perkins has picked up the slack! This morning I opted for the California Avocado Benedict. It was good but I should have asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side. It was thick, greasy and tasted like nacho cheese - nowhere near hollandaise. Everything else was great in the meal though. The hash browns were crispy they're fresh fruit was good. The english muffin and the rest of the ingredients were flavorful. It arrived a bit lukewarm which means it probably was sitting somewhere before it was brought to me. But I was hungry enough to eat it anyway. Stress does that to you. I was never asked for a refill on my beverage, I did get one on my way out in a carryout cup. Of course it's not a trip to Perkins unless you pick up a bakery item, so a chocolate chip cookie and a pecan sticky bun went home with me. I got the southern Chicken biscuit breakfast. Everything was cold but the chicken. The pancakes did not taste good. Server was fast and attentive. But you can hear all the employees in the back complaining about coworkers that aren't there. Why do I need to hear about how a server can't do her job well and makes the rest of the staffs life hard. It's also nice to hear the servers coming out of the kitchen complaining about regular customers being too "picky" when it comes to their food orders. I went in for breakfast with a friend, and we both were very impressed with the level of customer service provided by our server, Flo. She was very attentive and friendly! The two stars are because I love the pastries and the waiters are usually friendly at the Noblesville Perkins. I'm a biscuit and gravy lover so that's what I ordered with my "over medium" eggs. I should have known better because this is not the first time this happened here, but the gravy was lukewarm AT BEST. I didn't complain the first time. Well, this visit my meal was inedible (and for someone who loves to eat like I do that's rare) but the gravy was cold and the eggs were like rocks! I hate runny whites, but it is not that difficult to cook an egg with solid whites and runny yolks. There are too many decent restaurants around to ever eat at this Perkins again. I do want to say that the manager was apologetic and took my breakfast off our bill, but I would have preferred an edible breakfast. This morning we are headed for Rosie's--always awesome! read more

Very few bad things about our experience but it was more of a COVID supply issues than any other reason (no loaded potato soup). We were pleasantly surprised to discover it was free pie Monday! We ordered chicken tenders, and grilled fish. By now we were definitely at 25 minutes. I figured they must have gone to catch the fish. The Mgr approached and I asked why the table recvd their appetizer which was ordered well after we ordered. His response, "we bump other orders down when an appetizer order comes in. . I asked why would my order be bumped for someone else's appetizer. So the server was great. The Mgr way of running his kitchen is quite confusing. This Perkins is located in nearby Noblesville, so we don't have one close to home. We were in Noblesville with some time to kill recently, while our son was taking the ACT exam. There was a Perkins near my home when I was growing up, many years ago. Overall I think we were quite satisfied with the breakfast food we ordered here. The service was good, although I did notice that some people were seated fairly close to us, which I wasn't expecting in a COVID world. I'm sure they were still within legal separation limits, but they just seemed really close - maybe because the other guests were loud and obnoxious. So our first visit post Covid-19 lockdown and it was disappointing. The first thing we saw upon entering was a big sign plastered to the host stand saying be patient with us because we are extremely understaffed and the few workers we have are doing the best they can. So we cut them some slack there but this should be a wake up call to businesses across the country that they aren't paying their employees a living wage. It was obvious that not only the host but the server were both brand new. This review is not a reflection on them but that of the management and the quality of the food. We ordered sweet tea to drink and it was disgusting. Not sure if it was old tea or from a fountain but it was awful. So I switched to Coke. We ordered the pick 3 appetizer and it was decent but know this is frozen food at its finest from Sysco. Honey mustard and BBQ sauce were great the ranch was meh. Now to the entrees which were absolutely awful. We got a butterball turkey dinner and a turkey club. The turkey tasted like something that had been refrigerated and took on all the flavors from everything in the fridge. I ate half the sandwich and left the rest. It was supposed to have Mayo on it but was sent out dry. No biggie I guess, I had the server bring me some Mayo. I substituted for a baked potato loaded as my side. Again it seemed to be a refrigerated potato and an attempt to heat it up. It came out with bacon and cheese on it but no butter or sour cream. So I requested that and I ate one bite and was done with that. Had it not been for the so so appetizer I would have given one star. Certainly not something I'd go back and pay $50 for that's for sure. Perkins has gone down hill fast. And we can't blame everything on Covid-19 read more

Saturday night, after working all day, we decided to go get some nice simple comfort food. Perkins has always been our go to when neither of us wanted to cook and we just wanted something simple. Little did I know Perkins is now home to the sloth. We got there at 7:45pm, I know this because I asked my wife what time do they close, hopefully not at 8:00. We were seated pretty quickly but unfortunately that was the only thing that went quickly. About 20 minutes after being seated, the sloth finally came over and took our drink and food order, I do have to say the drinks came shortly thereafter. Fast forward 45 minutes, the waiter came by to say, your food will be out shortly. During the wait, as we were right next to the kitchen, we heard someone say, "you never even entered their order in" I now was beginning to suspect it was our order. At 9:00pm we finally had enough and left, I offered to pay for our drinks, but the manager said no charge. Now I could understand if the place was booming, or if there was no staff, but the restaurant was nearly empty and there were at least 3 waitstaff. Every time I saw our waiter walking around the restaurant he was moving at the speed-of-snail. Hopefully this was an anomaly but very disappointing for Perkins. read more

Ordinarily not a bad place to eat, however it seems owners and management has lost their way. They are stacking the waiting room shoulder to shoulder rather than sit people at any of over a dozen available tables. I spoke with Manager Jamie Elliott about possibly seating people, he advised the owner Jennifer English instructed him not to seat the people due to backup in the kitchen. I told the manager I'd have been happier waiting at a table, but he still refused to seat me. The whole time I'd waited for a table no one was seated. Clearly no respect for their customers.
