I LOVE BAB! Whenever I come up north, this is my go-to spot no matter if im in Duluth or Superior. The bagels are great and the cream cheese is even better! We both enjoyed their Lox, which had a lot of salmon and cream cheese (which I loved). The bagels were also toasted well and werent too heavy. The iced coffee is great, the syrups can be a bit sweet, but still great for on the go. I appreciate the staff for always being kind, even walking our food and drinks to our table. It can fluxuate on whether or not it's busy, but a great place to eat your meal or work on a computer. Love you Big Apple Bagels! (I wish there was one of you in the twin cities) read more

Love Big Apple Bagels! I have been to other locations before so I knew what to expect. I got a bacon egg and cheese on asiago and a cinnamon sugar bagel with brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese. Both were great! The only disappointment here was that they ran out of regular pop and only had diet in the machine available. Otherwise is a great stop for a quick and cheap breakfast or lunch. read more

The bagels are good. I'm from the NY/NJ Metro area and I'm finicky about my bagels. I'd been here once before. Was happy to see the limited time special was bagel w/ lox, cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and capers. Obviously we put that on a toasted Everything bagel. Not Jersey bagel but darn close for where I am. Ambiance is uh, it just is. It's fine. The staff are kids, not very engaging. They do not add anything to the ambiance but they are not worthy of harsh negative either. They're just doing what they're trained to do. It's about time. I deliver for a local food service (FD's). My husband and I moved to Billngs Park a couple years ago & I use to be a regular at Micky D's in Duluth 21st east. I got tired of the "hit or miss" on my breakfast sandwich either burnt or hard as a rock. They did put sugar and cream in my coffee, so theres that, i guess. I have driven by this place many times headed back to the cities, but never gave it a shot. I got a club sandwich style bagel with chips and an order of 6 bagels with a tub of cream cheese, to-go of course. There is no indoor seating currently. Everything was really tasty, well made sandwich with fresh produce and meats, the veggie cream cheese was really flavorful. The staff was super friendly. I am not sure if these are really comparable to NY style bagels.... but I guess that is to be expected. read more

I love bagels so much that if I could, I would probably eat like 10 during the day along with entire tub (the big size) of cream cheese. This place probably has the best bagels in the north land. I would even go as far as to say the state, but Bruegger's definitely puts up a good fight for that spot! I love coming here, it is a small, yet super busy little breakfast/bagel shop located right in Superior. I love that it is not a chain store too, so they actually give you quality and great service. If you order a breakfast sand which (a bagel with egg and cheese) they actually whip up the eggs fresh for you, and you get a light, fluffy, huge mound of eggs. Oh god, yum! They also have some of the best muffins in the world too! The French Toast muffin is to die for! as well as their cream cheese muffins, and streussal muffins. I don't ever want to find out how many calories come in these little things, I think it would depress me, but I will keep eating them whenever I am in town! read more

Great bagels! Parking can be a challenge, but honestly worth it. I get a dozen and freeze them. Very fresh when you warm them up!

Have tried their bagels several times, hoping they'll be better. They're just doughy and cream cheese was kind of watery. On my veggie sandwich the tomato was hard and more white in color than red. But the reason I'll never coming back, as if crummy food in a messy restaurant isn't enough, is FOX news playing on the TV. Who wants to watch that garbage? Peace out. read more

I honestly wouldn't expect a place like this to work in Superior. It feels like it belongs in Duluth. But it's a great little breakfast spot. I wasn't so sure about the "Kidz Bop" music and the Disney TV. I didn't see any kids in there, and I wouldn't really classify it as child friendly. The food was top notch, and the prices were good. If you're a fan of bagels, muffins, etc. you really need to try this place. read more

Service has improved a little but still not great. You could probably make tastier items at home with some effort. Southern Tradition sandwich had a processed egg patty that seems like it was microwaved. Not exactly a southern tradition. Muffins are standard, no flare. Prices are affordable but I would pay more to get more. read more

I worked here for a year, and got constantly sexually harassed by the staff and there customers. my identity was invalided as was my race, a topic bought up very often as the manager was openly and outwardly racist and xenophobic. my coworkers often received wage raises while working there for a handful of months, generally a dollar raise. I was not only denied the manager position after acting as manager minus the title, as the newly promoted staff weren't fully comfortable in that position, but I had to beg (I don't use that term lightly) for a mere ten cent wage increase after working there for a year. I was polite with the customers and staff but got nothing but berated in return by my superiors. The only highlight of this job was my coworkers, whom I very much enjoyed working with, and were the only reason I decided to stay as long as I had. Much of the working conditions I'm sure violated many codes several times over, and the cleanliness of the kitchen wasn't up to code. My managers ultimately fired me over a decision made by my manager at the time (whom I was very good friends with so no hard feelings there). A decision they berated me for not questioning. While synonymously demanding I respect every decision made by my manager. Frankly I was glad to be fired from a transphobic, sexist, racist and otherwise unwelcoming environment. I wouldn't waste my time with this place if I were you, as they promote nothing but hatred toward those with differing viewpoints. read more

Went in for a simple bagel with cream cheese. There was a line of 4-5 people when I arrived and what appeared to be three people working. Service was quicker then I expected, I was probably in the building for 10 minutes, pretty standard. I was busy and on the go, so I was prepared to eat my bagel while driving in the car. Took a bite out of my bagel (garlic bagel with cheddar jalapeño cream cheese), and there just wasn't enough flavor. I opened up my bagel and realized they barely put any cream cheese on the bagel: definitely less than one ounce: I could still see my bagel even with the cream cheese smeared on it. That's the whole point of a bagel with cream cheese: you want a flavor explosion in your mouth that comes from the combo. This wasn't the case. Extremely disappointed for paying $2.52 for something that is clearly worth less: not worth going back there again to explore the other flavors of their cream cheese. I won't be able to taste the flavors, so why go? read more

It's a little pricey for a place so close to a college. But that is okay because the food is so good and the service is exceptional. The environment is great for studding and just relaxing for an hour. And it's not all college kids I encourage everyone to stop here for a sandwich. My one complaint is they close very early. Absolute AWFUL customer service. It took me 20 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese not toasted, & the place wasn't even busy! The employees were chatting it up and taking selfies right in front of us! Apparently taking a selfie is more important than ensuring good customer service. I ordered the Fresh Start sandwich, which is suppose to come with cheese, egg whites, tomatoes and turkey sausage. I received a lukewarm sandwich with egg whites and tomatoes only. The bagels and selection are good, but overpriced in my opinion, and the wait is always long even if there are few people in the store. read more
