This restaurant is part of, what I believe to be, a historic hotel. We parked on the Main Street side and had to walk through the hotel lobby to Get to the restaurant. We could then see that there was another door at the back with parking lot. But, we are glad we had the experience of walking thru the quaint hotel lobby. The Hotel lobby desk still had the cubby holes where I assume the room keys are kept and also if one wanted to leave a message for someone staying there. But, we were here for breakfast so on to the food review. We got there around 8 am and by 8:30 the place started to fill up. We were able to pick where we wanted to sit and were promptly given menus and our drink orders were taken. Staff are friendly and our food order arrived quickly. My husband ordered the 2x2x2 which was two eggs over easy, two sausage Pattie's and two pancakes. He said it was good but average at best. I ordered a cranberry juice drink and the breakfast burrito with taco meat and hash browns. It arrived with a side of salsa and sour cream. The hash browns were average and the burrito, which was cut in half, was tasty with the taco meat, cheese, onion and green peppers rolled inside. I took 1/2 home and had it for a late lunch and it reheats well in the microwave. If in town again I would not hesitate to stop back at this restaurant, however, we are the type to continually try new to us places unless it is so phenomenal that we can't wait to get back there. I am sure for the locals this is their go to place and it showed as the restaurant was almost filled by the time we left. read more

Great weekend break fast spot in Duluth/Superior area when you find trouble with the long wait line like at the Duluth grill where we 102 on there list to get a table. Superior Family Restaraunt also make tasty Swedish pancakes with fruit compotes or Fresh fruit too. This is a Hidden gem Family restaraunt. The banana roll up pancake with Nutella was gobbled up by our son. read more

We were in town for Grandma's Marathon. We had literally just made a 20 hour drive from NC after our flight was canceled and walked into this place for breakfast/lunch. We were told to seat ourselves so we grabbed a cozy booth in the corner. Server was great -- attentive and kept our drinks refilled. All our orders were correct. Husband and I both ordered the gyro skillet with eggs over easy. It was FABULOUS. There was lots of gyro meat with a perfect amount of feta, Tzatziki, and all the other toppings. So good! Although, once we had ordered I saw on a tv display that they had gluten free pancakes! I had no idea because it wasn't listed on the menu. I would have loved some GF pancake carb loading. Son was disappointed that they had no vinegar based dressings at all for his salad -- only thick ones. He ate it without dressing. Overall, a great experience. This was on a Sunday! This is attached to a hotel but obviously a local spot. We had a cheeseburger, eggs Benedict and corn beef hash. All the food was great. The hashbrowns came out extra crispy ans not burnt. Hollandaise was tasty. read more

Tried this restaurant for breakfast while in town over the Fourth of July holiday. What a wonderful surprise find for us! The breakfast was fantastic and the service was really great. I have the country skillet and my husband had the breakfast classic (2 eggs, ham, hashbrowns, and toast). Everything was cooked perfectly, and my only negative comment is that the portion size is so huge. I couldn't finish my yummy meal!! it is a bit tricky to find if you don't know where you're going. If you're entering on Tower Avenue, you have to go through the Androy Hotel lobby. Otherwise, if you go around back, you can go into the main entrance of three restaurant. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. We will be back next time we are in town! read more

Food was great! Service was terrible however. We waited 20 minutes to get our menus and another 20 to get our order in. Food came quickly. Had to wait another 30 to get the check. Only good things to say about this establishment. I had a pleasant dining experience earlier today with a couple of my good pals. The service was exceptional. We were taken care of with authenticity and genuine care. Jessica was our enthusiastic server who just knocked it out of the park this morning. Sadly it was her last day but damnit she left it all out there. Hope Texas Roadhouse knows what a gem they got. Can truly say one of the best breakfast experiences I've had in ages. Visiting for work from California. If this is the quality of food in Wisconsin, looks like I'll be going hungry the rest of the week I'm here. Absolutely NO FLAVOR in ANY of the food we received. Took one bite out of blan potatoes and tossed the meal. They didn't even make an effort to flavor the food. Throw some salt and pepper on it. Don't bank on your inability to make food and think it's acceptable to send out as an order. Places like this would last a weekend in California. Normally I brag about this place and I have bought gift certificates for family, but today was Horrible, my cousin was in town so I thought I would take him here for breakfast, first we walked in and there was 5 tables empty and not bussed and we had to wait to be seated, but then we gave our order and after 45 mins of them coming to the table twice and refilling his coffee, I asked about our food and they were honest, they told me they completely forgot to put our order in, not sure how you do that, but they did. So after 90 mins we finally ate and they agreed to take 50 percent off the bill, but the waitress' were running around in each other sections we dealt with two different wait staff during our meal, which is odd they were running around people were waiting to be seated and once again there were empty tables not getting bussed. They told me two people called in but that shouldn't have anything to do with forgetting our order. So my cousin was not impressed we almost walked out without our food, but we didn't want the inconvenience of having to go somewhere else and starting over. So we ate and then the food was just okay, extremely disappointing. Not sure if I want to go back after that. read more

By far my favorite diner in Superior! I go here weekly (usually for breakfast), and it never disappoints. I really like that they have a large menu with food unique to other diners in town. I've had cinnamon swirl bread, an omelet with gravy, a walleye breakfast, and potato pancakes. The quality is also excellent. Their cheese curds and country fried steak are the best I've ever had. However, the service could be a little better. One of the servers isn't particularly friendly, but the other gal is great. The only time I've had a long wait for food is when the place is packed. read more

The staff is amazing here! They are so attentive and I hate to admit that I'm in here often enough that they know my breakfast and lunch order by heart. I love that you can get breakfast during the lunch hour. They are also very quick in getting your food so if you have an hour long lunch, you can easily eat here. I haven't had a bad meal here yet.
