My husband mentioned this place every time we drove past; so we came here for breakfast. I got on the waitlist at our Airbnb, so we had no wait. We were sat outside and it was pretty hot, not going to lie. Even with the fans.our server was Pierce. We ordered right away, but he lost the paper he took the order on, so he came back a bit later and had to retake our orders. Overall, the food was ok. The biscuit was pretty good. My friends and I dined here as our final meal before heading home during a recent beach vacation. We joined the Yelp waitlist on our way to the restaurant for a table of 5 but it seems they did not have our name, or missed it, as we ended up waiting for 15 minutes before they asked for our name again. We were seated in the back dining area. The atmosphere is very nice as it overlooks a contemporary complex and gorgeous pool. Even the restrooms are very fancy! Our server was quick, friendly, and nice even though she was juggling a ton of tables on a Sunday morning rush. She quickly had our coffees delivered to our tables, but my mug was dirty and there were coffee grinds floating around - I did not feel comfortable with the cleanliness so I only had one cup of coffee. For my breakfast, I ordered the AVOCADO TOAST - Nick's favorite and a super-healthy, happy way to start the day. Wheat toast with avocado, pico de gallo, arugula, chili flakes, two poached eggs*. Our food came out quickly. I ordered my eggs poached but they seemed as if they were microwaved - the eggs were overcooked. As I was eating, part of my yolk actually ROLLED off my plate - I don't think that's the way it's supposed to be! Da bomb! Absolutely the next breakfast spot in the area. The hash on the Jack Benny was shockingly awesome. It may be rectangular in shape like a McDonalds hash, but it did not resemble it in flavor. It was shockingly crispy on the outside snd perfectly soft in the middle. The Cat Head was equally as great. The Chicken was fried perfectly and oh boy those are some flaky buttery biscuits. Now the meal stopped and the heavens opened when we dove into the French toast. We were all in shock at how it was perfect. The server was a sweetheart. The whole experience was excellent. Food was not great. Everything tasted really greasy and off. Service was good no issues. Place felt dirty and when I went to salt my food the shakers were greasy and it kinda ruined my appetite. Biscuit was extremely buttery tasting to the point of too much for biscuits and gravy. Didn't like the gravy either. True Rating- 4.3/5 Stars Big Bad Breakfast was excellent. The food was great, the service was excellent, but the facilities was its biggest weakness. It felt small, and just odd as it was a small part of a condo building. Like I said, the food was great. I ordered the Low Country Skillet and it was delicious. It seemed like a small portion, but it was very filling. IT came with a pancake, which was also very well made. The side of Hash Cake was the true winner, though. It was such an excellent, dense hash brown like I had never had before. The place was very reasonably priced, which is rare for the area. My skillet was only 15 bucks, whereas most places could have easily charged 18 or 19 and it would have seemed fine. The service was absolutely great, and our waitress probably provided the best service of anywhere we ate on our trips. If I knew her name I would give her a shout on here. The only knock against the establishment I have is the location. It was fine, but it felt small, and kind of cramped. It very much felt like I was in a basement. If they got a new location, this place would be an easy 5 star. Overall, the best breakfast we had on our trip. I highly suggest this southern local chain to anybody! Best brunch and breakfast spot in Rosemary. It's a hidden gem and easy to miss! Updating review to leave current pictures but my son and I ate here twice on our recent visit. Wait times can be long but totally worth it. What to order? Chicken and waffles, or the breakfast burrito! Make sure to grab their Bloody Mary too, it's dang delicious & spicy. First off, the wait for this place was insane! They quoted us 45 minutes, and it was over an hour and a half. Lots of people waiting so I expected the food to be really good. We were sat outside by the pool. The pool view was nice but the tables and chairs were mid. Our waitress was extremely overwhelmed with everything going on and seemed to focus more on the larger parties than us. After waiting again for a while for our food, the food came out from a runner. We were given pancakes and chicken which was not what we ordered nor on the menu. When we finally flagged down the waitress, she let us know that they were out of waffles so they gave us pancakes and that the batter was the same so we shouldn't mind. That was annoying. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular and nothing I'll miss. I would never wait again that long for this food or ambiance. Parking was nice though. We stumbled across this gem today on Yelp. So glad we did. BBB is tucked back off the main path, but definitely worth your time. We joined waitlist on Yelp and were seated immediately when we walked in. We enjoyed the atmosphere and while we did not have any pets with us, it's worth noting that there is a sign at the front door that welcomes pets. Our waitress, Bess, was the best! She made sure we got our drinks and food right away and our drink cups were never empty. Her personality was very enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats with her. Our food was hot and fresh and there was plenty on each plate...very generous servings. We also enjoyed the homemade jams and the local honey. The place itself is small and hot (at that time, it was like 90 F), and I'm not sure if their AC broke or it was just not high enough. The skillet cooked egg dishes were served on a plate, not a skillet. While the fact we rarely (almost never) eat fried food early, is not BBB's fault, the egg dishes just didn't hit the right note- I couldn't taste the potatoes in mine- maybe the pieces were cut too small, and they could have been (not saying they are, but they were very homogenous) Egg beaters/egg mix. The patio is nice- looks onto The Pointe hotel pool and courtyard. With noise from the fans (loud) which are essential in summer, and rust run-off stains on the white paint of many of the Pointe's balcony drip edges, sitting out here has the vibe of being in Central America. We tried this place for brunch. They have indoor and nice outdoor seating. Even though it's hot outside, we sat outside because the seating there was better by the pool with fans and all. They have freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice. I tried their orange juice, which was very good. Then we ordered their Yard Work skillet, which comes with bell peppers, spinach, cheese, eggs, avocado, and some potatoes. It was pretty good and one of the best skillets I've had in a long time. I ordered mine without the cheese along with a biscuit. Their biscuits are huge and freshly made. They tasted really delicious. Rest you can see from the photos below! Give this place a try and I'm only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because initially we had to wait 10 minutes for our server to arrive and take our order. My food here got out out very quick and was very good. I got the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, toast, and grits (hear me out). These grits are some of the best you will ever have, they are cheesy and warm and is a staple for when I go there. The bacon was very crispy and eggs were cooked well. Delicious! I loved everything about our visit! From the online waitlist to the AMAZING house made hot sauce, I was so so glad we came here for breakfast. I loved being able to set a reminder for myself on Yelp to get on their waitlist for a set time on a busy Saturday morning. There was over an hour wait but we were able to show up at our waitlist time and immediately get seated when it was our party's turn. The server was also super bubbly and welcoming. I could tell she was busy but kept an eye out on us and got us everything we needed. The menu is EXTENSIVE. From avocado toast to hearty skillets, I think everyone should be able to find something they like here. As an eggs Benedict lover, I went with the Redneck Benny's which had not one, but TWO poached eggs and a hearty slice of ham. I opted for sausage gravy and slathered it with the housemade hot sauce. The biscuit underneath was also super buttery and light. Absolutely delicious and would order again and again. I took a few bites of my fiancé's chicken and waffles and YUM! So good. Our group of 7 had a large portion of the menu items and everyone loved their choices. The service is very good and knowledgeable about the menu items. Highly recommend using yelp to reserve a spot in the waitlist online before you get there. The seating is a little cramped, but if you're just there for a quick breakfast, it's not that big of a deal. Being at the beach of course there are lots of big groups, so people tend to sit around, and that makes wait times for other tables a little bit longer. Our server was attentive, but clearly a little overwhelmed, because even though it was the off-season, there had been a special event that morning, and all of the breakfast places were pretty packed. Once we ordered, our food came out pretty quickly and in the pictures I posted you can see how I felt about each dish. I would go back again for sure, but I would try to go later in the morning to beat the big breakfast rush or early in the afternoon for brunch. read more
