This is a great place to start your beachside morning. The menu items are all pretty unique and sound delicious. During my visit I had the Fried Oyster Scramble, which was phenomenal! I love the combinations of flavors and I'm a big oyster fan too. Tried the spicy bacon as well, which you can tell it's cut in house, it was very tasty. My wife had the chicken and waffles, which was huge portions for the price. She love all of it. I can't recommend this place more for breakfast. First time at BBB, we have one in Homewood but haven't made it there. Nice place, fast seating, tasty cocktails and a damn good breakfast. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. 2eggs OM, bacon, hash browns and pancake. I couldn't find anything wrong. Tables mate received, demon chicken samich, breakfast wrap, BBB biscuit samich. Everybody cleaned plated and left full. Now, I have to go to Homewood and try that one. read more

This place is tucked away out of sight which is too bad because many people are missing out! Breakfast was really tasty, mimosas were strong, and the service was excellent. I had the cat head biscuit with a fried egg added on top and I have to say it was a food orgasim!!! The biscuits, the chicken, the sausage gravy, and the egg were all amazing and it went well together. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles and he loved it, he just said the chicken was a little salty for him. Other than that, we throughly enjoyed it and plan to return on our next trip to PCB!! This was by far the best dining experience we have had while visiting. The peppercorn biscuits and fresh gravy were amazing. The avocado toast was huge and covered with avocado and two eggs. The food was so good. The drinks were even better. A great cup of coffee and the margarita was sweet and spicy. A great way to start the day. The Dude was fantastic. If you like a White Russian this is a good take on that. There was a lot of indoor and outdoor seating but with the rain, it was pretty crowded inside. A great menu and brunch spot. Mimosas and Bloody Marys were had. We tried numerous items on the menu: biscuits and gravy, pancakes and skillets. All were perfect! The waitress was very attentive to our needs and frequently refilled waters and had extra napkins readily available (had children with us). Located right in front of the pool so there are guests just outside the restaurant enjoying their stay. Bathroom for restaurant is shared with those enjoying the pool. Keep that in mind if you're wanting a "quiet or secluded" spot to eat. We *almost* didn't stop as there was a waitlist for 30+ minutes. I went ahead and signed up for the list via YELP. Checked in with the hostess and we were seated within 15 minutes of me signing up! So be sure to check in as soon as you can if you have to join a wait list. Get the pimento cheese sandwich! I am not kidding I couldn't even take a photo I ate it so quickly. My boyfriend got huevos rancheros and basically licked the plate clean. The pool view is nice and breezy, staff were a little slow on service. I get people are low staffed and we didn't get our coffee so they gave us some on the house. Very sweet gesture. read more

I'll start by saying in the first few minutes of our visit we weren't impressed. Nobody greeted us when we came in despite four staff members walking past us. The host was grumpy. I told the host we were on the waitlist from Yelp and he didn't speak. He finally asked for my name and number and said he put us on the waitlist and I got a text saying we had been added to the list. I didn't complain because they weren't that busy and the wait was only going to be 5 minutes. When the woman showed to our table she didn't speak when I thanked her or even crack a smile. The bright spot in our visit was our server, Bess. Bess was extremely friendly, offered great menu suggestions, and was quick with coffee refills. She made sure everything was great. The biscuits are amazingly fluffy and full of flavor. I'd recommend the tomato gravy and we wouldn't have ordered it if Bess hadn't told us that we wouldn't be sorry. 10 stars for Bess! My favorite part about this restaurant was the outdoor seating overlooking the pool. It makes for a good setting. The menu is pretty big and the ingredients are fresh. BBB doesn't disappoint until too many ways. One note is a friend got the skillet for $15 and it was one of the smallest sized skillet portions I've ever seen. My best friend and I took a weekend trip to PCB and wanted something really good for brunch on Saturday morning. I looked up nearby restaurants and saw Big Bad Breakfast was pretty close, so we knew that was definitely the move! I haven't had Big Bad since I lived in Birmingham 4-5 years ago, so I was super excited to be having it again. We knew the restaurant was probably crowded so we waitlisted on Yelp, and once we arrived, we let the hostess know and waited about 10-15 minutes before we were seated. The hostess sat us on the patio which was very nice and spacious, and also socially distanced. The patio overlooked this beautiful pool of the surrounding apartments/condo. Our server came and brought water and we also ordered mimosas. For brunch, I had the chicken and waffles with sides of bacon and crispy hash cake and my bestie had the Riviera skillet with a pancake. Our food was absolutely delicious! The spicy bacon is probably my fave, but the chicken and waffle was definitely some competition. The only subpar thing was the hash cake because it was a bit rubbery, but overall everything was great. No matter the location, Big Bad just doesn't miss! read more
