Service: 2/5, Food: 3/5. We sat at the bar and the bartender/waitress wasn't attentive nor polite. It was very obvious either she didn't want to be there or didn't want us to be there. The food was decent, not bad but not something that would make me go back, especially considering the unwelcoming environment. I had a pretty simple plate, but someone else in our party ordered the chicken & waffles, and her tenders were pretty overcooked. The BBB skillet was pretty good also. The biscuits here are his favorite from all of the places we have been for breakfast. The pancake was average. He said he would order it again as a side, but not as an entree. If you like pancakes, go to Staks. I ordered the chicken and waffles along with a side of fries. The waffle was cold and a little soggy when I received the plate. The chicken was fresh and crispy, and it improved the dish significantly. I would not order the waffle without the chicken. The fries were average. I would not order this meal again here. The restaurant seems busier than it is because the tables are not turned quickly. The environment is calm and laid back with most customers dressed for a casual brunch. Additionally, it is important to note the restaurant has added a mandatory 18% gratuity for all parties. We came in for breakfast this morning. Added ourselves to the waitlist, and were told that it would be about 30 mins, which was fine. We typically will grab a bar seat if it comes open before a table does, which has never been an issue because it is supposed to be first come first serve. My husband noticed that someone was getting ready to pay, so he stood up so we could move to the bar. The lady at the front desk told him that he could not do that because we did not specify that we were going to sit at the bar. She told him that a woman who came and signed in 10 mins after we did had said she was going to sit there and we were refused being able to move to the bar. Needless to say, we left and we will NOT be back after this service. So we went to Another Broken Egg Cafe, where they actually have good service and wonderful food. read more

The restaurant smelled so good when I walked in, that I couldn't wait to order. There was a bit of a wait to get my food. The Pancake I ordered had a light sweet flavor, which I liked but my bacon was a little spicy, which was weird. The buscuit was really buttery and tasted homemade so that was a plus. I did enjoy my breakfast aside from the spicy bacon because I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I do recommend giving the spot a try. I plan to go back and try something different, because there were a few items on the menu I wanted to try but was pressed for time. All in all I had a good experience, although I do recommend going to the website and getting on the wait list so you can get in and get out. read more

We were going to eat breakfast Big Bad Breakfast - Memphis. The wait time was 2 hours and so we went on and did some other things came back at the suggested time and was told it would be another 30 minutes... ok no problem. 15 minutes later we go back in and check and was told it would be another 30 minutes. This restaurant closes at 2pm and by this time it is 1pm. I spoke with the manager because I noticed this family sitting by the door when I checked in the first time... that same family was sitting there at the 2 hour mark. The manager stated that it is an issue but corporate told him that he cannot ask people to leave after they have been there for awhile. I will give this restaurant one more chance... just not in Memphis. Bottom Line we did not get to eat at the restaurant... we ended up at a Ramen joint that was amazing! read more

Worst service ever the server with the pink shirt on named LORHESA was the worst and rudest person ever. She was late on giving us our food never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything. We had to ask other servers for things. When we finally got our checks she kept rushing us to hurry up and pay. I got suspicious of it so i looked at my check and i noticed on my check she was over charging us and was charging us for stuff we didn't order.
