ABSOLUTE SCAM!! we have alerted Airbnb to this however we don't want anyone else to fall for their listing. This place is a mess. We had 2 pillows for 2 beds (extras weren't available), but what looked like a handyman did show up with extra bedsheets that were rolled up in a bowl and held against his dirty clothes. The overhead light was broken, the floors were absolutely filthy, the windows were off track and couldn't stay open or lock. The hot tub, which was the main reason we rented this cabin, is cracked and peeling and was dirty on arrival. I bought cleaning supplies before I realised that the hot tub was completely unusable. When water hit the basin it threw little pieces of peeling of paint into the water. The kitchen was an absolute disaster. It was listed as a usable kitchen with lots of amenities. Upon arrival we found, 2 plates, 1 saucer, no bowls, 2 glasses (that didn't match) no wine glasses. We had to ask for wine glasses and when they arrived it was 1 wine glass, 1 champagne glass both very dirty. All of the cutlery was mismatched, dirty, and not a complete set. Dirty pots and pans were in a cabinet. There were no trash bags, a broken paper towel holder, no supplies to wash or dry dishes. However, there was a sign saying if you left dirty dishes behind they would charge you. There were also no kitchen towels or pot holders. In the bathroom, we found a broken toilet paper holder, broken bathroom mirror , 1/4 roll of toilet paper, no shampoo, conditioner, or soap. There were only three towels so we had to ask for extra towels. We were given towels with large holes that smelled. There was no bathmat, a torn shower curtain with no shower curtain liner. The hairdryer dryer was missing from the wall and when we asked for one an hour later one showed up brand new in the box obviously had just been purchased at the store. The grounds were filthy as well. Trash was everywhere as well as broken appliances stored behind and underneath other cabins. Someone lives at the facility and let their small child scream and yell even pass the quiet hours. We contacted the manager multiple times and when we gave a list of complaints, they didn't respond until before our checkout reminding us to be out on time so they're cleaning crew could access for the next person. We asked for a partial refund due to the fact the amenities listed were not there so we had to go out and purchase them, as well as the fact that we could not use the hot tub and that is the main reason we rented the place. This place is janky the bathroom door was busted and broken could not shut it and when my man did he got stuck in the restroom. The hot tub was decent but the drain was loose. There was homeless people wondering around the parking lot so that made us uncomfortable. I bet it was a nice place at one point in time but it needs to maintained and taken care of read more

FALSE ADVERTISING, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We recently stayed at Big Bear Manor Spa Cabins end of September and were beyond disappointed. I am 8 months pregnant and we wanted to have a relaxing weekend before the baby arrives. We picked these cabins because they promised a terrace with mountain views and we figured since I can't walk a lot, it'll be nice to watch the views and relax. Our confirmation email had these room details "...this room includes a terrace with a mountain view " (see attached screenshot from the email confirmation we received) When we got to our room, there were no views on sight except other cabins and trees so we asked the receptionist at the front desk. We figured it was a mistake and she will just swap the room. She first asked to see the email confirmation. Upon reading the email she said and I quote "well technically it's a mountain view room." We were so confused. We went back to the terrace and looked around and saw no mountains in any direction (see attached pictures of our view). Not only did she refuse to switch rooms, she was not at all apologetic. Also the fans and vents in the cabin were layered with dust. (see attached) We accidentally turned the fan on while looking for the light switch and saw dust go all over the room. If you have any allergies to dust, this isn't the place for you! We will definitely be back!! Spent the past 4 days up here celebrating our 5 year anniversary and this place was a dream mountain getaway. The cabin had everything we expected, both of the front office ladies were pleasant and welcoming, everything we could need was just a few minutes away! The ONLY downside to our stay is the heat didn't seem to work well or consistently in our cabin So we kept waking up freeeezing after our nightly fires died. Truly, a magnificent place to unplug and connect with your loved one!!!! My husband took me on a road trip for my birthday back in May. We live in Vegas, so I wanted a change of scenery . . . Big Bear it was. Took us approximately 4 1/2 hours with traffic. ***if this is your first time driving from Vegas to Big Bear, please note that you are literally driving up the mountain to get there. The road is crazy windy, so keep that in mind if you go when there's inclement weather. A quick google search led us to Big Bear Manor Jacuzzi Cabins. Very reasonably priced, and very close to Village Dr (it's where all the shopping and restaurants are). Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted with lots of tips on places to eat, and things to do. We were given cabin #12 (my favorite number) and it was perfection!! There is a covered car port next to the cottage. As you walk up to the door, there's a covered patio with a little table and chairs. When you walk in, there's a queen bed to your left with nightstands and lamps on top. To the right, there's a huge jacuzzi, working fire place (not gas, a "real" fireplace) and a tv mounted to the wall that swivels to the left and right. A little kitchenette with basic kitchen utensils, mini fridge, sink, microwave, and toaster oven. Bathroom with shower in the back. Very cozy living space!! We lucked out because it snowed a couple of the days we were there. A rarity to see when you live in Las Vegas. We took full advantage, and had a fire going 24/7!!! We can't wait to go back both with and without our kids. The fireplace lit up with just the two of us was such a romantic getaway. We also can't wait to share big bear with our children because they too are going to go crazy over being in the woods and skiing or swimming depending on what time of year we come back. I was trying to book a cabin for my husband's birthday weekend but every place was booked so I got a place the weekend after. We found this place and decided to book it, the price was very reasonable and we get a jacuzzi in the room! So we booked two nights. We checked in and the guy there was very nice, he gave us some fire starters when we told him we have pine wood to use for the fireplace. Our cabin was #11 and it had a carport for us to park in. The place is clean and it looks like a cabin should be. There's a kitchenette with a table and two chairs. The kitchenette had a microwave, mini fridge, dishes and flatware for you to use. The bathroom is clean and though it's a little outdated, that's what you get for staying in a cabin, it has that wooden feel to it. Our room had a twin size bed for our daughter to sleep in and a queen size bed for us, even though we have a king size bed at home, this allowed us to cuddle up closer. We fell asleep to the fire burning all night. There's a heater for us to turn on and off. The water in the shower is rather generous, we were able to run hot water in the jacuzzi and still have tons of hot water for the shower. Even though we were right next to the Alpine slide place, it was very quiet and we couldn't hear the crowds at all. Check out was simple and we had a great stay here! Right in the center of everything, very convenient for us to get anywhere we wanted. My husband forgot his iphone in the cabin and we called the guy at the front desk. He told us to call the UPS place in Big Bear and give them our credit card number so he can ship the phone to us, he helped us out and we got our phone the next day, no problem. This place is very legit and a great place to come for a short getaway. Came here for our 2 year anniversary and we loved every second of it. Very cozy cabins for couples. All are docked out with a flat screen, jacuzzi, bathroom, king size bed, mini kitchen with mini fridge, microwave, small toaster oven, sink, dining table and night stands. Also comes with a DVD player you can play your own dvds on or pick one from their selection. Ours was dog friendly so we brought our dog Lexi and she loved it. Very quiet and secluded. Other plus: The Village is right there, 10 min walk, 2 min drive with all kinds of shops and good eats. Peppercorn and Murrays were our favorites. Great food! Pet Co, Stater Bros, and Vons are a 12 min drive away. Prices are also reasonable. If you do 2 nights during the week it's $70.00 a night. Gotta do two nights tho. Definitely worth it. Got here at 1:00. Been waiting for bath towels. So we can enjoy our jacuzzi. It's now 6:30. Adrian said his staff dropped off the towels! WTF?? Like we lie about that!! Honest review. We are the only people staying at this whole place. Kinda weird. This cabin has no view. It's clean, it's bare, it's rustic. The bed is very comfortable. BUT Shouldn't have to argue over towels!! Keep you updated.... Finally got 2 bath towels last night even though we asked for 4. 2 for the shower and 2 for the jacuzzi. You would think since we are the only people staying here, we could get as many towels as we needed in a timely manner. On another note, there is only one roll of toilet paper, so there is no way we will call to get some more after the hassle it was to get bath towels. Another update, now the batteries for the TV remote don't work. It's 845 in the evening and now we can't watch the TV either. If you choose to stay here, don't forget your towels, toilet paper and batteries. read more

Amazing place to stay in. I don't even know where to start, the lady at the office was extremely friendly. I made my reservations through booking.com and she called me afterwards to confirm, she asked me if I needed directions, etc., When we got there, she made it a smooth process, our cabin was ready and she gave us brochures and let us know about the events going on. The cabin was so cozy and cute. We had a flat screen tv with a DVD. The only thing that bummed me was that there was no kitchen, not sure if they're all like that or just a couple but we didn't go there to cook so it wasn't a big deal. The place was quiet, surrounded by trees and it's close to everything so it was perfect. My husband loved it too, and what we were the most amazed at was the side of the whirlpool, he's tall do he cant even take baths but the whirlpool was huge! Very happy with our peaceful, relaxing stay at Big Bear Manor. Our cabin #1 was just to our liking and here are some highlights: -Very big comfy bed and pillows -Big, clean indoor jacuzzi tub -Shower amenities i.e. bath bubbles, soap bars, shampoo, lotion and shower cap. -Deck of cards -Fresh robes and a blow dryer -Working wifi and TV Loved having a fireplace, really made our cabin feel extra cozy. They sell firewood at the check-in office too. Room was also equipped with microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, ice cube trays, and silverware (come in handy for takeout and leftovers). Lots of drawers and closet space to hang up clothes. These cabins are very close to the slopes to go tubing or have some snow play but about a 15 min walk into "town" i.e. resturaunts and shops off Big Bear Blvd. If you don't mind a short walk (some of it on the road as there is no sidewalk) then book your cabin here! read more

Cabin 10 was nice studio type cabin, came with king size bed, jacuzzi, fireplace, bathroom, small kitchenette (small fridge, sink, toaster, coffee maker). U get your own car port, front porch.... Cabin smelled nice and it was clean. They have firewood for sale $5/one pack in the office. One firewood lasted 4-5 hours. The staff is friendly, you can also get hot apple cider from the office. It was perfect for the cold weather and so delicious. I made sure to stop by every night and before I left. Also, i wasn't expecting housekeeping service but i noticed trash was taken out, towels/robes were replaced when we were gone. Love this place! My husband and I came this weekend for a short trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We actually found them in a Big Bear Magazine for activities. The owner was super nice! (And his dog!) ; ) We bought some wood for our fireplace! Very romantic with a Spa too! Unsure why people are saying they didn't have a restroom. Ours did! Little pricey if you certain time of year the year but after see all the reviews for the other cabin places I think it is worth it! No surprised for the room or what you expect from the cabin. I stayed at Cabin number 7! It has more space than other cabins there with jacuzzi tub for 2 people can fit in easily, fire place that I used both nights, and full kitchen. Bed was comfortable but if you use the heater in the room it is very noisy and room gets very dry! I highly recommend to use fire place the whole time. You can get free DVD's at the front desk w popcorn. That was a nice treat. Also they sell wood for the fire place if you need right away. It is a walking distance to the Village (10 min. First off, the lady who helped us was superb. She was friendly, and offered us great suggestions. Best part about the place was the jacuzzi! We go free popcorn with our movie rental, free lotion (I was not ready for the harsh mountain air). Only complaint, pillows were not good. Other than that we were in love! It's a cabin, not a 5 star resort, so we went in expecting it to be a little dingy and not up to our standards, I can say this place VASTLY EXCEEDED our expectations! I tried to make a reservation online for 30 minutes but the website was not allowing me. I was calling the number provided during that 30 minutes, with no answer or the person on the other line would answer and hang up. Wanting to spend a nice weekend with my husband I kept calling to try to book our room. A gentleman finally answered and told he he couldn't book anything because he wasn't in the office, told me I had to do everything online after I explained to him it wasn't working. Eventually he told me there wasn't anything he could do and I would have to wait until tomorrow but the rooms would probably be gone by then. The cabin was very nice and was located at the rear of the property. I give the cabin 7 of 10 as the floors needed to be cleaned as my feet were black from walking inside barefoot. My husband and I are former Marines so we don't require much when it comes to a place to stay for winter vacationing. If you are expecting a five-star hotel this is definitely not the place for you. It's more of a rugged cabin that's meant specifically for bathing, drinking, sleeping, and snowboarding. If you like to watch TV all day or like room service you will not like this place. The staff was incredibly kind and overly accommodating in the sense that they allowed us to have our boxer stay with us in one of their cabins. He is technically bigger than the breeds they allow but they kindly made an exception for us and we greatly appreciate it. They provide firewood and basic amenities but if you are a picky person I suggest bringing your own home comforts. Again such a fantastic place for a winter getaway!!! read more

My husband and I booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary. We stayed 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in Cabin 10 with our dog and our cabin was lovely! Very clean, jacuzzi, fireplace, comfortable bed, and a kitchenette area. It was actually a lot more spacious than I expected it to be. If you love the cabin atmosphere this is definitely the right place to go! Being originally from the south, we miss our family's cabin back in Georgia. We were thrilled with our relaxing "spa" vacation at Big Bear Manor Spa Cabins. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The bed was nice and big and quite comfortable as well. The star of the show was the whirlpool tub - HUGE!!! Easily fit two not-so-small people with plenty of room to spare. The woman in reception was so lovely and helpful. Very welcoming and friendly, giving us the run-down of how things worked in the rooms, local areas of interest, and great places to visit during our stay. For our trip, we stayed in cabin #1. Initially I was nervous having our cabin so close to the street and entrance, but even during "rush hour" when the street was packed with people heading to the slopes, our cabin was quiet and relaxing. We have already booked our next trip up there and can't wait to spend another nice long and relaxing weekend in our favorite Spa Cabins. read more

My Fiancee and I have been coming to Big Bear for over 5 years and this is by far the best place to stay! The cabins are immaculate, the owners are so sweet and helpful with tips on things to do and places to try. The told us about Octoberfest (which is a ball in Big Bear) Saucy Mama's and the Bowling Barn. Each cabin has its own fireplace and jacuzzi tub . Such a romantic spot and its within walking distance of the Village which means no having to find a parking place. It's so obvious that they care about having a quality place for people to stay and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a romantic weekend with their significant other!!! read more

First off the owner is the sweetest thing in the world we left today and she asked if our Uber was coming and we told her no that it might take a while she told us to go back to our room and stay warm untill our ride came. The room was nice my bf is 6"2 so we where worried that jacuzzi was going to be small but no he fit just right the bed was pretty big too. The only bummer was that the cabin we where staying in has spotty WiFi but I'm pretty sure it was because of the weather. The quality of the stay got so much worse under new management! in 2019 we had a wonderful experience, while this last time, we had several issues with Wifi, fireplace, and cleanliness, which during Covid should be top priority. If you are looking for a romantic place to escape, this is the place to go! They are all individual cabins. There are about 14 of them total. Within walking distance to the downtown. The little cabin we were in had its own car port, a porch with a bistro set, in the room was a jacuzzie tub for two next to a wood burning fire place. The TV is on a swivel mount so you can turn the tv from the bed to the jacuzzi. There is a VCR and DVD player. It had a little breakfast table, stove top, and a fridge/freezer. There is a regular bathroom as well with a tub/shower. One important tip... make sure you put your "fridge items" far from the freezer part because it is a two in one. My boyfriend put the champagne by the coldest part... and we had one expensive bottle of frozen champagne!!!! read more

Big Bear Manor is awesome! My boyfriend and I wanted a quick weekend getaway and I found this place online. It seemed pretty nice so I booked a weekend stay there. I am so happy I did! It was so much better than I ever imagined. The room was clean, quiet, and bigger than expected. The spa and wood burning fireplace made it even better. The location was also great since it was in walking distance to the village but still off of the main street to maintain a little seclusion. Brandon was extremely accommodating and made us feel more than welcome. We used the free DVD and popcorn amenity which was a great way to relax in front of the fireplace after a long day exploring Big Bear. We used the kitchenette which was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, toaster, etc. The hot homemade apple cider in the office was inviting upon our arrival at night when it was a little chillier than expected. There r really bad. I had pay 2day say for here. So after one day they say we smoke at non smoking room. We didn't we smoke more then 20 feet from the door. Only ash tray foot with trash at the cavin. Reason is we don't want throw sigarlett butt on road. They don't listen. just they say they belive we smoke at the room. So get out right now or they call police... We didn't want make bad this cristmas. That y we just leave there and get other room. Omg.. who do business like this? Do u understand this situation?
