Horrible establishment. Went in February and had a room for me and my fiancé. We had check in time at 3pm and then our check-in got extended till 4 PM because apparently the people had not left from the night before because their cars were snowed in. Me and my fiancé decided to get something to eat and by the time we were done getting our late lunch it was finally 4 PM. I reached out. I got no response for an hour. Finally, when I got a response, they said check-in time was now at five. I asked if there would be any accommodations and they brushed me off and I asked where I can park and I got brushed off again. By the way, there's no lobby. It's a virtual check-in. It's basically like an Airbnb. Once it was 5 PM, they did not want to answer my calls anymore or answer any of my text messages. My fiancé is a type one diabetic and his blood sugar was dropping due to being outside in the cold. I explained that over a text message and I tried to call, but nobody was picking up. Since my fiancé's blood sugar was dropping, I had to look for another hotel and luckily I was able to get the last room left at the burgundy. I had no communication with anyone until 7 PM when somebody texted me the number of my suite. It was too late once they texted me so I asked if they would be able to offer me a refund due to the situation and they said they would and they never gave me a refund when I called back a couple days later to schedule the refund, a lady answered and was helping me out and when she asked me when I booked, she hung up while I was in the middle of my conversation with her. I kept trying to call back for the next week and it seems like they blocked my number. Don't stay here unless you have a backup plan because the management is horrible. read more

Horrible place. Pictures are not true. This is not anything luxurious at all! Just stayed there 2 weeks ago worst decision and money spent! This is not a hotel it's literally a room. Coming from a neat freak, germaphobe, frequent traveller.. here's my opinion. Location is good.. you're within minutes of everything. Shops, food, skiing, tubing, you name it. You are also directly across from a fire station so you're the first to hear the blaring of it. Win some lose some. Interior is fine.. Nothing above average but not bad. Paint on the walls is chipped, bathtub is chipped, shower head is coming off the wall... however the layout is cute and decor is up to date. Cleanliness is good.. As a med student, I refuse to bathe or shower without running steaming water first to clear any bacteria .. and run the jets for one minutes to see if they were cleaned. It passed the test. I wore white socks and scraped my feet on the hardwood to see if any residue came up.. nothing. The sheets were fresh and so were towels, etc. Can't complain there. Comfortability - Bed sucks. I personally need firm and solid. This bed is squishy and springy. Gave me a backache. Small secondary couch in the room is comfy. Other positives - Jets in the tub worked fine, hot water was pretty constant ... mirror in the bathroom has vanity light which is nice.. air/heat work fine.. Mini fridge works good.. ya get your own parking spot too so that's cool. Don't know if i'd stay here again, but for a last minute anniversary trip it was fine! read more

Travelers beware: The location of this Inn is 10/10, however the way they operate is very concerning. We checked in and unfortunately there was a city wide power outage. We were told by the young lady working on 3/9/24 that given the circumstances we may check out and to receive a refund to contact booking dot com. Today on 3/12/24 I was told by a young lady that "this is how hotels work anywhere in the world, and that the way we see it the money is ours". they claim that this is a spa tub but it's broken and there's pubic hair in it and when we turn the water on flakes of skin and stuff came out of the Jets which is very gross. This place is right across the street from the fire department which you hear sirens all night long. The sidewalk is broken so it is a hazard to walk a crossed and you can get hurt very easily going upstairs. Green Tea Cabin. We stayed for a weekend. The biggest issue we had was the jacuzzi (which is the main reason we chose this cabin) was green and stinky. We contacted the property manager and she seemed to be receptive but nothing was done. My husband and I stayed here a couple years ago and it was much different then. Needless to say I won't come back. The suite we got (Suite #4) was rundown and very disappointing. The ceiling fan made a constant clicking noise, the lamp on the bedside wall fell when my husband tried turning it on, the jacuzzi area is falling apart, the toilet wasn't properly attached to the floor, and the bed is hard as a rock. I immediately texted Bryan (the host or manager or whoever) and the only response was "sorry about the jacuzzi." I had a wonderful Stay at the Lindberg Suites!! We stayed in the Sleepover Suite. The place is well managed and kept really clean! Stacy is very inviting and keeps in constant communication! she is quick to respond, hospitable and professional! the Hot tub is super nice and the jets are easy to turn on and off. My husband and I are staying in the Gold Rush Suite and LOVE it! We were going to just come up for one day but we really enjoyed our stay so much that extended our time up here and booked another night. The bed is SO comfortable. The pillows, sheets and comforter are super cozy. There is a really nice electric fire place that heats the rooms as well as heated floors, a jacuzzi tub, mini fridge, microwave, desk area for me to do my work, a HUGE Smart TV, and a really cool little Expresso maker that makes some really good coffee. The location of this place is great too. Pine Knot is about a half mile down there street and there are a couple restaurants across the street as well. The staff is really nice and helpful and the virtual check in was super easy. I have zero complaints about this place and we will most definitely come here again! read more

We chose to stay here because of the good reviews but I was a little disappointed. It looks as if at one point it was nice but it look a little run down now. It wasn't very clean. There was a lot of dust everywhere. When I pulled down the sheets I saw hair in the bed. The hostess assured me the sheets were changed and nice enough to bring clean sheets but even the clean sheets has hair on them. She said it was because they did the laundry at the laundromat. The jacuzzi tub was very nice but it was leaking at the handles so we had to put a towel over it to prevent it from spraying all over the place. For some reason, someone was using AirPlay but it was showing on our TV. We can see their iPhone, apps, and screen saver on our phone. It was annoying because we were trying to watch a movie on Netflix and it would boot us out because they were trying to play music. read more

Wonderful Experience in the Green Tea Cabin with my husband ! I was a little nervous because there were some bad reviews but I reached out to Staci and she was able to address all of my concerns and make sure I had nothing to worry about. Staci Went out of her way to communicate with me through the booking process and with the many questions I had regarding the unit. Since talking over the phone is sometimes a challenge while I'm in the office She was still able to communicate with me via text message which I very much appreciated. My husband and I spent a weekend in the Green Tea cabin which is a cute private cottage style home down the road from the hotel. Everything was perfect! The beds were all Memory Foam & super comfortable! Both the living room and bedrooms Have smart TVs linked up to Apple TV with Netflix, Amazon prime TV , Hulu And a bunch of other options. The bathroom has a deep spa jacuzzi bathtub with jets. The kids room has bunkbeds and cool lighting underneath the beds that I know any kid would love! The fireplace is a pellet set up so no logs needed. Our favorite part was the Jacuzzi in the backyard all to ourselves!! We enjoyed the stars every night while sipping wine in the Jacuzzi. This place is so close to everything in town But far enough away to feel like you're in the woods. I didn't find anything the negative reviews said to be true. Honestly if your concerned about anything just reach out to them , I'm so thankful I did. This is a family owned business not a huge franchise chain so I can see how sometimes things aren't perfect but as for my experience I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again. Here are some tips I recommend 1. Fireplace - To turn it on you need to turn on the thermostat on the wall right above the sofa & Turn on the switch is on the side of the pellet fireplace as well. The fireplace turns off every 15 minutes but all you need to do to turn it back on is hit the switches on the side of the fireplace again. 2.BBQ- You need to bring your own propane tank. The city doesn't allow them to provide one. 3.LOCKING FRONT & BACK DOOR- Getting the doors to lock is a little tricky, after turning the key as far as you can to lock the door, lift the handle all the way up then turn the key again a little more in the same direction . 4.Bring Bikes for when The weather permits. You could hypothetically walk to most everything but I think riding your bike is more realistic because it's like a couple blocks and to turn down the main road. 5. COFFEE- The green tea cabin provides a regular filter style coffee maker. Don't forget your coffee and filters. 6. This place has a full kitchen-OVEN, MICROWAVE and Fridge. 7. SHOWER - To get hot water turn it all the way to the left as far as it will go , give it a minute to warm up. read more

Their manager charged me $100 for what was supposed to be a hold when I never even stayed there because when I arrived the rooms were disgusting! One of the dirtiest rooms I have ever seen. The bathtub had stuff floating in it, the Jett's were all broken, there were hairs in the tub. I complained and asked for another room, the other room was just as disgusting so I asked for a refund for the next next and didn't want to stay there more then one night, the manager showed up and told me I had to leave and he would refund me. All day I dealt with booking.Com to try to get my refund. It was a nightmare. I finally got refunded for the room and I have texts from the manager saying I would get the $100 deposit refunded back on my card but the charge went through and was never refunded. Now I'm dealing with my bank to try and get my money back 2 months later! I'm still dealing with this! $100 is a lot of money that they literally stole from my account and I'm still dealing with this headache! Do not book here! It's a disgusting scam of a hotel. Wish I could give it zero stars. I looked through so many hotels with a modern look and a Jacuzzi for my husband's 30th bday and found this place and booked in advance. Our check in was at 3 pm and we were having lunch near the hotel around 12 when I receive a TEXT (not a call) to let us know that they will not be able to accommodate our stay. 3 hours before our check in time!!!? The woman texting handled the situation poorly and really didn't offer us anything to make up for the inconvenience (except a $25 credit for future use ) . The place was filthy! Coffee creamer was so old it solidified. The mattress pad was old and torn and did not cover the mattress. When we went to fix it, there was a dead fly under the sheets! I stayed here while in town visiting family for two nights last weekend. There is no office to check in at, you have to call and someone will meet you at the room to let you in. We were met by Dave who was very friendly and got there within only a couple minutes of our call. He answered all of our questions and even recommended restaurants nearby. A+ for customer service! The room itself was very clean and modern. The room was large and included a jacuzzi, large wall mounted TV, electric fireplace, a small table and 2 bar stools, a separate bathroom with a shower/tub combo, a mini-fridge (that actually gets very cold which was a great thing) a hot plate (this was the first time I've ever seen one), toaster, some dishes (plates, silverware, glasses) and a separate vanity area that included some hair products. Overall the room was well worth the money I paid. The room only had a couple drawbacks, no AC and no screens on the windows. We had no options when it came to trying to cool down the room. We went to KMart up the street and bought an oscillating fan which helped, but not quite enough. It was a warm weekend and because of the Lake Fire you could smell the smoke so we wanted to keep it closed up. Because there were no screens on the windows there was no choice other than to keep it closed up because we didn't want to be hot, smell like smoke and have bugs in our room. I've never had a room without AC so I didn't think to ask, next time I will. This may be common in Big Bear, I really don't know. I've done a lot of travelling and this was a first for me. The coolest the room went down to was 78 degrees. If the fire wasn't an issue and there were screens on the windows the lack of AC may not have been such an issue for me. I'm sure this would be a great room to rent in the winter and we may be back. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest renting the upstairs rooms because you hear a lot of foot traffic below. Lindberg suites was a perfect stay for my boyfriend and I we stayed at the gold rush suite, and it was perfect very spacious warm room they had an electronic fire place, an Apple TV, very nice bathtub and a cozy bed. You check in and check out by calling them never seen the host but his name was Leo and he was very informative. It's 4 min away from snow summit 3 min away from the village it was a perfect place. Just got back from a stay 9/5-9/6 and I would've given Lindberg Suites a 4 or 5 star review if it weren't for the lack of communication between the owner and management. Once I booked my stay I emailed them (one full week before our arrival) to request one of the rooms on the second floor so that my boyfriend and I could enjoy the balcony and a view of the lake. This request WAS NOT HONORED. We arrived and Dave led us to the Gold Rush suite which is on the first floor. I showed him my email interaction with Mike (the owner) and he expressed his frustrations with Mike because he supposedly always takes these requests and doesn't communicate them to Dave who is actually the one on the property who checks in guests at their arrival. We definitely enjoyed our room once we were stuck with it since there were already guests checked into both second floor suites and he couldn't move us. It had nothing to do with decor choice, just waned a balcony with a view. I wrote to Mike again to tell him what happened and was not given a response. Other than that snag in the beginning, we loved being so close to Pine Knot Ave and actually just walked over there any time we wanted to do some shopping or get food/drinks since it was so close. The jacuzzi worked great as did the TV and wifi however THERE IS NO A/C. Luckily we were there when the high was only in the mid-70's and we actually brought a small fan with us since my boyfriend always sleeps with one on. I can't imagine what it would be like in the summer when it's really hot. With the lack of a/c and bad communication with owners/employees I'd honestly be slightly nervous to recommend this place to family and friends but I can't deny that the price is right and the location is ideal. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place for a spontaneous getaway- perfect location for everything we had planned to see/do at a pretty great price thru booking.com. The check in and check our situation was strange due to the fact there is not a front office. We had to call and a young guy came down from one of the top rooms to give us the key (that's literally it) and then had us leave the key in the room checking out. Not so much an inconvenience as just a little strange to not be informed of prior to arrival. The room was actually quite perfect- hot tub was a plus. Although I do wish some things like bath robes and maybe water was available to guests. If you're going to thoroughly inspect the room maybe don't stay here but if you just need somewhere comfortable and convenient this place is perfect, maybe even better than expectation for what it is. My only real complaint would be the fact that I was kept awake by footsteps and the sound of a toilet flushing from upstairs as it was so loud from below. Overall, this place made our vacation even better and was a perfect comfortable room to end our day! Pricewise, the place was good but it's not the cleanest. We found hairs on our bed and it looked like the sheets were not changed. We had to go to Kmart to buy new ones. The decor looks modern and great in pictures, but up close it was kinda cheesy. It could use a facelift and new paint. The brown carpet around the jacuzzi needs to go. It looks old and dirty. The chair by the desk is missing a wheel. That is a liability if someone falls off and gets hurt. Across the street is the fire station. We heard it twice during the day, but not once at night. It had a hit tub and was decorated in an interesting style. The fireplace was a little difficult to figure out but beyond that I really liked it. I am still waiting for my refund .... If i were the owner of this establishment I will have a sit down with Stacey and hopefully she can be properly trained to handle proper customer service.
