I'm from out of town so the whole order taking process was kind of confusing, I guess you can order from Frankie's, big bowl & big city chicken at one cash register. I got the 5 piece tenders meal, once I bit into a tender it was cold & dry, so dry that I couldn't even finish the tender and had to spit it out. I then ordered the cheese fries to see if that would any better but the cheese tasted like it was from a Kraft Mac & cheese box. If you're looking for a place to eat at the navy pier you're better off going to the McDonalds in here if you don't want to be waited on. read more

The original sandwich was handed to me right after I paid, so I was skeptical that it wasn't fresh. It was way smaller than the bun, Luke warm, zero breading on one side of it, and the sauce tasted awful. It was so strong and tangy it monopolized the sandwich. What's with the 3% charge added? Really not worth trying at all. Like go anywhere else kinda place. First off this place is located inside of which is so crowded that finding a seating and waiting long lines can fluctuate from waiting 20 min to a hr. Second if that isn't problem the chicken they have there is horrible. The spicy is a dry rub type that barely gives it flavor and the skin isn't crispy at all along with the fact that the chicken is only lukewarm. For such a expensive piece of chicken you would think the chicken would at-least be hot or more flavoring would be on it. While my girlfriend was eating we found out the the chicken wasn't even fully cooked for shame. Third if all the things i listed above doesn't bother you the service are just as bad. maybe they are understaffed, maybe the workers were just having a busy day. But that doesn't mean you take your attitude out on others when you are working. No professional attitude toward their work at all. The Asian girl was rude. My sisters ordered their food, and all I ordered was a drink. We get our food sit down and realize she gave my sister ranch instead of honey mustard like she asked for. I go back to get the ranch n extra hot sauce. When I get to the register she said 50 cents for each. When I came back w the change she told me give her a min, while she takes the ppl in line order. This place is terrible. They were nice when collecting money for their food, then they popped the slice of pizza in the heater for about 30 seconds and served it to me and my family. The waffle fries were hard as a disk and look over cooked. They had no flexibility. We had to get the pizza rewarmed, but, they gave us a freshly cooked slice and they cooked us more waffle fries, which came out much better looking and were moist. It was late when we walked to the Navy Pier ad was hungry. We wanted something fast and easy to eat so we can watch the fireworks. The order line was mediocre at the time but when we placed our order they were out of chicken. The chicken came out after the fireworks show, but we were amazed of the taste. It was fresh out of the fryer so definitely earned some big points there. The chicken seasoned and flavored were excellent. The chicken skin was crisp and crunchy. The chicken breast was juicy. It almost tasted like Popeyes Chicken, skin and spicy flavors. We love the spiciness of the chicken and the fries had a hint of spicy too. Absolutely one of the best fast food restaurants we had while we were in Chicago. Will have to go there again the next time we go to the Navy Pier. read more

Bruhhhh the fried chicken was DELICIOUS!!! It was so crispy and juicy. Like i pulled a piece of chicken out the breast and it dripped juice. Skin was CRIPSY and well seasoned. I love chicken! I come from Sydney (AUS) and have travelled the world and enjoyed chicken from Down Under, Korea and Japan. Whilst this chicken wasn't the worst worst i have had, the service definitely was. Ok, i should just wait over here again and see if i can beg for food or friendship while i wait for my 20 minute fast food chicken. 30 min mark and I' m done, i ask "lady" about order again, again i get "I dun cookit". I ask, "Can i see the manager please"? Chicken lady, "She down there somewhere"! WOW, sorry I didn't want to inconvenience you after you have taken my order, money and more than 30 minutes of my time and copping your attitude. The customer service is horrible, I ordered chicken and it was delicious so I decided to take a TOGO order. When I picked up the food, it was in an open plate and had incorrect pieces. I mentioned that these are not the pieces that I ordered and I also need a take away box. Sub par chicken sandwich. I went with their spicy options, which is just a thin fried chicken patty slathered in buffalo sauce. Would have been nice know in advance seeing that I also ordered (and was charged extra for) a side of buffalo sauce. I found it strange the order taker works the register for 3 different restaurants not sure if it was just a slow day. Anyway the order taker was not rude but she also was not overly friendly either. Overall the food was not bad and it did not take extremely long actually not even 10minutes and was fresh and hot, (not re-cooked). I visit Navy Pier often and whenever I walk by this place I think "wow that chicken looks good!" Well think again! I ordered the 2 piece for $6 and cashier said I could choose my pieces. I go here almost every time I'm at Navy Pier because I have two kids who absolutely love fried chicken and fries. But from an adult perspective, I feel their fried chicken strips are bland without dipping sauce of any kind. The price for chicken strips and fries is fairly decent considering they are pretty generous on portion size. Their chicken sandwiches are pretty amazing and well-seasoned, as long as you're not on a diet of some sort. It's definitely a great quick eats spot if you're visiting Navy Pier. read more

What a pleasant surprise in the midst of the tourist traps. We were at Navy Pier for Star Wars and decided to try them out. Awful!!!! my friend and I just wanted fries. Firstly it took me ages to order because one of the employee's friends arrived and felt the need to cut in front of everyone in line and order first. If it were possible to give this place a negative star I would. Waited over 20 minutes for a soda. Was over charged. Cashier tried to argue why she over charged. Was so rude. FINALLY refunded. (Keeping in mind we had been waiting near 20 minutes at this point) we stepped aside.
