    My 3 piece meal

It's cheat day and I've chosen Raising Cane's! I know Cane's has a cult following so this review will be an unpopular but honest opinion. I've passed this location a lot but it's always a madhouse so I just ordered ahead online for pickup. Upon entering, it was chaos - whoever designed the layout must have been joking. It's incredibly confusing, and there are no signs or designated lines just people everywhere. Finally a cashier opened up for me to ask about pickup orders and the good news is my food was ready on time. I was not impressed with their plastic bag or styrofoam packaging and by the time I got home the chicken breading was coming off from the moisture. I did like the Cane's sauce but otherwise I thought my 3-piece meal was just ok, nothing special. I have to say, I really don't understand the hype. 2.5/5 stars rounded down.

Quick friendly service, nice atmosphere- opposite to millennium park (crown fountain side). They got a set meal options, we picked the three chicken fingers, Texas toast and crinkle fries with fountain soda. The chicken fingers were oily, crisp on the outside, lacked flavor. But they are the typical OG. I enjoyed the crinkle fries more! Their dip was good We shared this meal between two and it was a perfect portion size. Grab a bite when in the neighborhood!

I was here on Sunday with my friend for dinner, we ordered the Caniac Combo. We must have been really hungry since we finished that and ordered the Box Combo after. Everything was good, however maybe we ate too much because our stomachs were not happy after lol. Other than that, the staff were friendly & I liked the decor/ambiance of the restaurant.

Friendly staff, shockingly mediocre food for a somewhat higher price point and the special cane's sauce is NOTHING SPECIAL. This was my first time trying the chain. Doubt I'll try again.....

I've eaten Cane's a few times prior to visiting this location. This Is my first time here. It's large, lots of seating and it is very clean. It's busy but the service is very swift and sufficient. It seems as if Cane's is an acquired taste, either people like it or they don't. I like it and yes I do recommend.

This Raising Cane's is directly across from the famous Millennium Park! While it is super busy inside, the line when I quick! Friendly service and ample seating for a guests! Also free refills !

Honestly... this was my first time ever trying Cane's. Personally, it tasted exactly like Zaxby's but not as good. This location on Michigan Avenue it was extremely packed. I spent $20 on a combo meal and didn't get my bread or my coleslaw. The food is exactly what you expect.. except they were chicken fingers with unseasoned cold fries. I give it three out of five just because I do like chicken fingers but I won't be going back here again.

The place itself was a complete zoo. So busy, so loud, lots of people standing around and waiting, everything was a mess. It took awhile to get my food. 3 stars because the chicken was hot and delicious. The toast was really good too. However, the fries were barely warm. I would get raising canes food again, just at a different location.

Date of visit: July 24, 2023 Raising Cane's is hands down my husband's favorite chicken restaurant, fast food restaurant, maybe even his favorite restaurant of all time! So when we not only visit a city that has a Raising Cane's but walk right by one just a couple blocks from our hotel, there's no way we aren't going to stop in at SOME point. That some point this time was lunch on a Monday while we were exploring the city. The food was good--as always--and the restaurant was large and in great condition. While I also enjoy the chicken, their fries are normally not my jam yet this time they actually had some crunch to them and I ate more than a handful. Really the only downfall here was a lack of service at the front counter where we didn't get exactly what we ordered. But it was so good that it's hard to complain TOO loudly!

I've always heard of the long lines at the new Raising Canes in South Florida so when I was in Chicago and saw a Raising Canes with no line,l I had to go in. I ordered at the kiosk and it was very quick and easy. My order was ready and myname was called very quickly. I ordered the box combo with four chicken tenders, crinkle fries, toast, Canes sauce, and a soda. With tax it was over $14. I found the chicken tenders were lacking in flavor. The toast was good, although smaller than I had expected. I love coleslaw and this was good. The Canes sauce was good but not all that different than sauces at other places. The interior has a very cool vibe. There was an employee actively clearing and cleaning tables. I am glad I got to try Canes and happy I didn't have to wait in a long line.

Is this little fella worth $2.29 + Chicago city tax? It's hard to justify.

Ordering online is the way to go. Otherwise the place can feel overwhelming esp with it being on Michigan Ave.

They ditched the delicious recipe, they ditched the actually pieces of chicken, with the slice of toast, and instead give you some basic wings with sauces that do absolutely nothing for your taste buds. The Nashville hot dry rub is terrible, zero flavor. The biscuit has no actual flavor. The service is worse than a McDonald's. You'll hear an ongoing beeping alarm as you try to dine in, that they say is from a bad drink machine? And not sure how they wash their hands with no soap in the washroom. Price used to properly reflect what you were getting here, but no longer the case. Sad to see.

It's a smoky heat, and they are in a dry rub. The chicken is well cooked, although there were a few tendons I had to eat around. I also got the fries and a chicken Caesar salad wrap. The wrap was dry, lacked Caesar dressing, but had all the right components. You can add a side of sauce and you should. It may be better if not delivered. I also got the kids chicken tender meal, it comes with three small chicken tenders, fries, and a biscuit. They looked crispy, and good. I would probably eat there if I were to revisit.

The restaurant had a great atmosphere. It was busy enough to feel lively but not so crowded that we felt rushed or overwhelmed. From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Our server, Bronagh, truly made the experience even better. She was so kind, attentive, and personable throughout the entire evening. She checked on us often, made great recommendations, and always had a smile on her face. She provided some of the best service we've had in a long time. We started with the Pink Pony Club and the Moonlit Cocktail Flight, and both were fantastic. The cocktails were creative, refreshing, and beautifully presented. For dinner, we ordered the Brussels and kale salad, mashed potatoes, chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, buffalo wings, and the Centennial Sampler to share. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, the buffalo wings had the perfect amount of spice, the chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious, and the Centennial Sampler was a great way to try several of the restaurant's specialties. Even the mashed potatoes and salad stood out because they were so well prepared. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly, which made the entire evening feel even more special. I would absolutely recommend Chef Art Smith's Reunion for a girls night, family dinner, or any special occasion. We can't wait to come back. Five stars all around!

I was solo, but made a reservation to sit at the bar just in case. I showed up 10 minutes early and was just told to "sit wherever" in a pretty empty place. I found a seat at the bar and was ignored for about 10 minutes by the Irish Bartenders that were too busy chatting with each other than helping guests. It was a little surprising to see so many bartenders from Ireland with super heavy brogues at a Chicago tourism restaurant styled to the American South. When one of them gave me a menu, I knew pretty much what I wanted from the beginning. He seemed uncomfortable with the menu and didn't know it. I am also very surprised that biscuits don't come with the chicken like they do at Homecommin in Disney Springs. I ordered the fried chicken plate which came in less than 5 minutes. That seems....fast. Too fast. Anyway, the chicken was good enough, but I had to flag a bartender down once again for utensils to eat the mashed potatoes. The biscuits came out and were good, but it took longer to make the biscuits than the fried chicken and mashed potatoes? I ended with a Disney Springs favorite, the Hummingbird cake. It is $3 more expensive at Reunion and half the size. Not a great way to end the meal. I was excited to come to this place because its called Reunion because after Art Smith opened Homecommin in Florida, he decided to come back to Chicago due to the politics (and I don't think his kids liked the move). I was expecting this to be better than Homecommin and it was much worse. The bar is pretty low at Navy Pier so I guess its probably the best food, but its still very disappointing.

We saunter up to our chosen restaurant only to find a sign on the door that says, "closed for private event." Did I mention I was hangry? My husband suggests Jake Melnick's. It was within walking distance ... did I mention it was raining that night? And I was hangry? I was game for anything at that point. We arrived and waited probably four minutes for a table. A couple of the adults ordered a beer, the others ordered a Coke. We ordered a large pretzel and our mains. The pretzel was so good. All the meals were outstanding (a sliced brisket sandwich, some wings, chicken tenders, onion rings and a burger). Service was great. It was a little loud when we first arrived as there was an intense Illinois State basketball game on but as soon as the game ended, it was much quieter. We really enjoyed our meal at Jake's!
