Shout out to our waiter. We started with the collard green dip topped with crawfish. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about the texture, but after a few bites I was hooked. The collard greens held up beautifully, and the crawfish on top was seasoned perfectly. Next, we had the lamb egg roll, and wow. It was filled with tender, juicy stewed lamb, and the sauce served alongside it took it to another level. Every bite was packed with flavor. My sister ordered the coconut curry salmon with coconut rice and couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I had the jerk chicken with Haitian rice and collard greens, and honestly, it was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The only downside for us was the drinks. This is where they lost points. We tried one of their signature drinks that resembled a piña colada and didn't care for it. Later, we ordered a lemon drop upstairs and didn't enjoy that either. If I went back, I'd probably just stick with water and focus on the food. After dinner, we headed upstairs to the gallery/lounge area, and that's where the night really took off. The music was amazing, the crowd was fun and welcoming, and we danced all night. The artwork throughout the space is beautiful and adds so much character to the experience. Great food, great atmosphere, great music, and an unforgettable night. Rock Steady gave me my first 10/10 dining experience, and I can't wait to come back.

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

You can tell they pour a lotta love into their food and drinks. I didn't understand the concept of the reserved bar space because it stayed empty all night. The decor is beautiful and the music is nice. I will come back for the happy hour because the location is so convenient.

absolutely love APT 4B…read more The decor alone is worth the visit--it has this beautiful, nostalgic feel with the Jet Magazine-inspired aesthetic that's both cultural and elevated. It feels curated, warm, and intentional without trying too hard. As for the food, my favorites are the oxtail hummus and the seafood curry bowl. Both are full of flavor and always hit. You can tell there's real creativity behind the menu, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. The overall vibe, from the design to the food, makes it a place I genuinely enjoy returning to. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.

My only observation was that, like many places using fresh garnishes for cocktails, gloves weren't worn during drink prep but hey, maybe the alcohol handled the sanitation duties *shrugs* Overall, it was a really good experience and I'd definitely go back.
