I can eat Friday night fish fry
    Lea G.

Friday night fish fry. All you can eat cod & french fries. I've been coming here for years for their fried chicken because it was so delicious. Bone and roasted you can't beat it. Today I had a hankering for fish and chips. wow, their battery is super light and crunchy. The fish is tender, flaky and well cooked. I added a coleslaw, which was yummy. You have to have that with the fish :-) service was really attentive and friendly. Now I have two reasons to come here besides the neighborhood atmosphere and the bar with great beers on top, fish, fry, and chicken! Check it out you won't be sorry you have a great happy hour as well

The history of this place speaks for itself the walls are lined with Bigfoot pictures and lots of elaborate neon bar signs that I love to see, the bar food is exceptional and by that I mean fried onion rings gizzards yes gizzards they are absolutely perfect not chewy not rubbery just like my mom used to make and delicious, they have the best taco salad in the entire area. Big burgers great tacos and fish fridays are great. staff is nice too love this place

I have been wanting to check this place out for months now. I've heard such great things about the burgers and fish and chip Fridays! Finally made it in this last Friday and was surprised at how busy it was. The bar is pretty small, but they had pool tables and they also started setting up for karaoke by the time we were leaving. Staff was friendly, 3 different workers checked on us throughout our meal. We had burger and tots, large jojos and the fish and chips. Everything was good. The burger came with a really small amount of tots compared to other places. The fish and chips were good, pretty meaty. Will definitely come back again to try other things. Saw they had gizzards on the menu and I definitely wanna try that and the fried chicken next time!

The name will draw you in, the local hospitality will get you to stay. A no frills watering hole with bar and table seating, great menu options, plenty of screens and billiards to keep you entertained. There was a group celebrating a birthday while I was there with several tables pulled together. The weather was perfect off the water with a cool breeze blowing through the doors that were propped open on either side. The area has a breathtaking view of the water from above, and while making a stop in town a local made the suggestion to stop here if I had time to kill. I popped in to check it out and grab a bite before getting on the road. The gentleman on the barstool next to me ordered a junior mushroom and Swiss burger, because "He wasn't that hungry." It sounded pretty good, but I decided on the halibut 'burger' with fries. Their non-alcoholic choices were a Porter or O'Douls. I chose the Porter, which turned out to be a Deschutes Black Butte brewed in Bend, and was pleasantly surprised. My new friend chatted me up while I devoured my loaded fish sandwich and went through multiple napkins, and nodded occasionally. We spoke of the insanity of AI and technology advancing so fast as the bar quickly filled up. I motioned for my check while the mister said he enjoyed talking and asked if I came in often. "Just passing through, it was a pleasure to meet you!" I said as I generously tipped and thanked them for the hospitality on my way out the door. Until next time!

    Tacos and smoked weenies!

Normally when you find these little local bars and walk in, everybody stares at you and makes you feel uncomfortable..not here! It was packed on a football Sunday, super friendly people and staff! We had the 2 for 1 tacos, a basket of tots and side of smoked weenies and 3 beers with a soda for $29!! All the food looks delish like good small town food! It's definitely a small local dive bar with scattered tables but we loved it and highly recommend!

Stopped in the Big Foot Inn today for burgers a few drinks and to watch the game in a crowd setting. Classic neighborhood bar setting, in a good way, great friendly service, good Americana food and a nostalgic setting. Great spot to grab a bite too if you are visiting the Pendleton Company store right across the street. Glad we stopped in.

    Sunday morning breakfast.

The very best Sunday morning breakfast and Saturday burger baskets as well as fish & chips Friday.

Halloween outside the bigfoot mural. Best bar burgers! Great atmosphere and wonderful people.

The burger was really tasty that I got there. It's definitely a hometown dive bar. The patrons and waitstaff were very friendly.

Fish fried perfectly and an optional salad was a blessing in disguise. Lemon pesto vinaigrette is something I'm stealing for sure, rocked both the fish and the salad leaves. What a great flavor. Service was friendly, efficient and delightful. What more could you want from a place with double bars and an outdoor patio with the World Cup on big screen and on my way home. Yeah fives all around.

Portions were huge, too, and we each ended up taking half our breakfast home. We had the Morning Tots and the Chicken Fried Steak - both hearty & delicious. Their breakfast gravy is unique in that it's made with elk sausage, and there was quite a bit of meat in the gravy we had with our meals. They have a lunch & dinner menu that bigger & looks great, too, so I'd like to come back to try that as well. Service was friendly and quick. You either order at the bar or use your phone & QR code at your table to order online. It's a HUGE bar, with lots of seating inside & outside on a big patio with a fire pit. I love how they have old photos of the area & people on the walls, even in the restrooms. They are a country bar, so expect country music to be playing, if that matters to you. They also have live music on certain days, so check out their Instagram for details. There are several big flatscreen TVs with various sports on as well.

I received…read morea half portion of halibut on each taco and it was not juicy a little stale for the fried breading and not hot. The color looked good on the tacos, but I received a 1/2 sized portion of halibut on each taco. Not a single large one like on the other pictures shown, it was a half portion of halibut for each taco. Roughly about 3 inches in length 2 inches in width for the fried halibut, which was stale and warm. The meat wasn't juicy in the taco either. After I finished my tacos, I saw the table across from us, had ordered a three-piece fish and chips, which was generously loaded with fries and full sized pieces of halibut on the plate, which looked amazing. It was my first time there, so I didn't know what the portion sizes for halibut tacos were supposed to be and it was my first time having halibut so I didn't know what to expect, went there at my friends recommendation. Normally, I check reviews before I go this time I didn't. So I checked on reviews today and saw the halibut fish tacos were supposed to be one large fillet for each taco, so I feel I missed out. I paid $25 for the equivalent of a two piece halibut meal, but only ended up with one piece of halibut on two tacos, which ended up being about $13 a taco, they weren't even that great. If you go, it would be a good idea to confirm with the weight staff if each taco is supposed to get one whole fillet or a half fillet. If it's a half fillet, maybe the Puffin café should adjust their prices accordingly for the tacos. Not a great experience. The place looked really nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Food value and quality not so much.
