The mac & cheese with brisket

Server was very friendly. Food was amazing and came out fast. Inside was very clean good music. 10/10 I will stop by here every time I pass through this town.

This is a cool little spot! I was working in Jackson, Wy for a couple of weeks and noticed this place while driving around over the weekend on my way to Idaho falls.I actually pulled over to look it up on yelp and decided on my way back id try it.After talking to a waitress about the place and if there were other location she said this is the original, Although there are two other locations I believe, one for sure in Jackson Hole, but it was closed for the season. This location is mostly local customers from the small town or near by. Beer is ice cold including the glass, the place isn't too big so it does get noisy. The ribs are cooked perfectly, tender but still have a little chew to them. i hate over cooked mushy ribs btw. Their chicken wings with dry rub are absolutely fire beans were tasty! this is just a solid bbq place. reminded me of some of my dads home cooked bbq from when i was a kid. I liked it so much that i went back a few days later. I had the chicken and ribs combo, the waiter wouldn't let me sub a small portion of burnt ends instead of the ribs and I didn't want a full 1lb of burnt ends. ribs were great again, chicken perfect and the side Caesar salad was a pretty big portion. if i find my self in Jackson or nearby in the future this is my chosen BBQ Spot!

Bread pudding - great and not too sweet!

Best smoked chicken wings I've ever had - and I normally don't even like smoked wings! Ordered the 1/2 dozen with original bbq and they were so perfectly coated with sauce and juicy with each bite! If I knew they were so good I would have just eaten a dozen for dinner. I also had the burger which hit the spot and ribs. Ribs were good but a little on the sweet side for me. Mac n cheese was banging and the beans were solid. Honestly better than majority of the over priced restaurants in the neighboring Jackson Hole area. So glad to have tried this place. Staff was super nice and it had a very relaxing chill vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating was also great in good weather days. Dessert was also good. Had the in house bread pudding which was great and the moose chocolate cake was also good. Highly recommend!

We stopped by here for dinner, and it was delicious! I was very happy to see Fried Okra on the menu, my favorite and it hit the spot. Our waiter was nice he seemed to be handling phone orders, bar service and table service which seemed excessive, we were not in any rush so we took our time being on vacation we had nowhere to be just enjoying the time. It was a cool little place. My family enjoyed the fried okra, chips and dip, tacos chicken, bbq ribs, and brisket sandwich. All of which were melt in the mouth bbq delicious. Wish we didn't live across the US so we could visit again, but if we are out in Idaho again we will be sure to stop in.

This place is FANTASTIC. It's an adorable BBQ place. You must get the burnt ends, I recommend the dry rub! They are 10/10! The pork ribs were great too, soft & cooked to perfection. 9.5/10 For side I got the Mac&cheese / onion rings. The onion rings were amazing, the mac&cheese was okay. Overall great place, I highly recommend.

I don't eat a lot of meat but I make an exception for Big Hole BBQ. I always get their two-dollar tacos so I eat cheap, but really well too!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences…read moreI've ever had. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely full, but it's a very small dining room with only about 10 tables. We only waited about 10 minutes to be seated, and after seeing the great Yelp reviews, we were excited to eat there. There was only one larger party of eight; the rest of the tables were small groups, so nothing suggested the kitchen was overwhelmed. We were seated at 6:10 p.m., ordered drinks, and placed our dinner order shortly afterward. Then...nothing. We waited so long that we ordered a second round of drinks, assuming our food would be arriving any minute. After finishing those drinks, we finally asked about our order around 7:30 p.m.--more than an hour after ordering. The response from the other server was disappointing. Without any real apology or concern, we were simply told it would be another 10-15 minutes because they "had lots of to-go orders." If the kitchen was prioritizing takeout over guests who had been sitting in the dining room for well over an hour, that should have been communicated from the beginning. Then 10 minutes later, to make matters worse, the other server to whom we inquired --not even ours--brought peppermints to the table to "help with our hunger." Whether it was intended as humor or not, it came across as incredibly insensitive given we'd been waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes. At that point, we asked for our bill for the drinks and decided to leave. Unsurprisingly, our food appeared almost immediately after we asked for the check. By then, the experience had completely ruined our appetite. Our actual server did apologize, and I appreciated that, but it was simply too late to salvage the evening. I've eaten at countless restaurants over the years, and I have never experienced anything quite like this. Long waits can happen, but a restaurant should communicate honestly, apologize sincerely, and make guests feel valued. Unfortunately, none of that happened here. We left disappointed and I feel the need to warn others. I felt bad for our actual server (who we tipped normally) because she couldn't help the delay in the kitchen or her coworker's behavior.

I got the 12 count dry rub chicken wings, with Mac and cheese and fries as my side. My boyfriend got the half pound brisket with potato salad and fries as his. The dry rub chicken had a good amount of flavor, but it was the tiniest bit overcooked. The sides were honestly the stars of the plate. The Texas toast was buttery and so good. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the Mac and cheese were so creamy and full of flavor. The brisket was tender and not super greasy. However, the outer layer is extremely salty so I would double down on the sauce. The potato salad was good, but nothing crazy. I think the portion sizes are absolutely massive and you'll definitely leave with a full belly. The ambiance is pretty neat, but service wasn't the fastest, but food came out in less than 15 minutes. It seemed like maybe they were short staffed this day. Our waiter was nice, but he had a lot of tables to wait on, so he wouldn't come over unless we flagged him down.

My wife preferred the sour. The food was great! We started with the buffalo wings, I got the burger and my wife got the Nashville chicken sandwich. All were delicious! The truffle fries were worth the up charge with the sandwiches as they were full of flavor and still crisp when they arrived at the table. The environment was pleasant!
