Came in on a busy night waited 15 minutes wasn't great to walk past so many times went to the Waitress and she said don't give me a tough time all I asked her to do was take my order and then they threw me out. I wasn't rude. I didn't scream the worst experience I've ever had. Are you coming to the establishment for six years sometimes my chicken wings come out cold I don't complain. Very disappointing experience. We placed a to-go order for 12 people and even asked if everything was included before leaving. The order was poorly packed, and the employee seemed annoyed when we asked for one extra plastic bag. Once home, we realized 4 orders were missing. We called and received no apology. Best smoked chicken wings I've ever had - and I normally don't even like smoked wings! Ordered the 1/2 dozen with original bbq and they were so perfectly coated with sauce and juicy with each bite! If I knew they were so good I would have just eaten a dozen for dinner. I also had the burger which hit the spot and ribs. Ribs were good but a little on the sweet side for me. Mac n cheese was banging and the beans were solid. Honestly better than majority of the over priced restaurants in the neighboring Jackson Hole area. So glad to have tried this place. Staff was super nice and it had a very relaxing chill vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating was also great in good weather days. Dessert was also good. This is a cool little spot! I was working in Jackson, Wy for a couple of weeks and noticed this place while driving around over the weekend on my way to Idaho falls.I actually pulled over to look it up on yelp and decided on my way back id try it.After talking to a waitress about the place and if there were other location she said this is the original, Although there are two other locations I believe, one for sure in Jackson Hole, but it was closed for the season. This location is mostly local customers from the small town or near by. Beer is ice cold including the glass, the place isn't too big so it does get noisy. The ribs are cooked perfectly, tender but still have a little chew to them. i hate over cooked mushy ribs btw. Their chicken wings with dry rub are absolutely fire beans were tasty! this is just a solid bbq place. reminded me of some of my dads home cooked bbq from when i was a kid. I liked it so much that i went back a few days later. I had the chicken and ribs combo, the waiter wouldn't let me sub a small portion of burnt ends instead of the ribs and I didn't want a full 1lb of burnt ends. ribs were great again, chicken perfect and the side Caesar salad was a pretty big portion. if i find my self in Jackson or nearby in the future this is my chosen BBQ Spot! read more

We stopped by here for dinner, and it was delicious! I was very happy to see Fried Okra on the menu, my favorite and it hit the spot. Our waiter was nice he seemed to be handling phone orders, bar service and table service which seemed excessive, we were not in any rush so we took our time being on vacation we had nowhere to be just enjoying the time. It was a cool little place. My family enjoyed the fried okra, chips and dip, tacos chicken, bbq ribs, and brisket sandwich. All of which were melt in the mouth bbq delicious. Everything was perfect at Big Hole! I always look forward to eating at Big Hole anytime I come to Idaho! We started with fried okra and then for main course got the burnt ends, ribs and brisket sandwich. Everything was so dang good! My favorite is always the burnt ends but this was my first time having the ribs and they were perfectly tender and Smokey! The okra might have been the best I've ever had. The food was all so good that we decided to try the desserts. We got the bread pudding (recommended by our server), the chocolate cake and the lemon Italian cream cake. The two cakes were devoured ! Both so good! The bread pudding was good but may have been a little old or overcooked but it was pretty hard and chewy. Our server was great and helped a lot even with a full house during the rush. Tuesday evening in Victor, ID has limited options for dining out, especially with outdoor seating options. We're so glad we read the Yelp! reviews and headed to Big Hole BBQ for dinner! Sat ourselves at one of 7 tables along the side of the restaurant (there are also 2 in front of the restaurant and, it looks like, during busier times seating on a third-floor deck) and were treated to prompt, friendly service. Started with the fried pickles, which were terrific, and wound up sharing the B-Melt sandwich (chopped beef brisket topped with melted pepper jack cheese on a soft hoagie* roll) served with slaw (added some pickled jalapeños), the Big Hole Burger (1/3 pound hamburger patty topped with chopped brisket, crispy fried onions, Big Hole's original BBQ sauce, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and pepper jack cheese on a toasted brioche bun) served with fries, and a side of onion rings. The sandwiches were both terrific, the fries were solid--thin and crispy, and the onion rings were on the larger, thinner side and generally well-seasoned and crisp. We came in based on the great reviews. I had called ahead and asked some questions about the menu. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. This is not a big place. There are eight tables for four. The center area has had tables removed and the tables there are well spread apart. The center area is where they have a long table set up for take out orders. They seemed to do a very brisk take out business. People could just come in and pick up their paid for orders and have it be totally contactless. It seemed to be very fast and efficient. There were four of us. Our daughter ordered the tacos and loved them. The rest of us ordered the bbq combo plates. I had the pork and brisket. The portion size was large. I thought the brisket was very moist and tender. I got the fries and paid the extra to get a side salad. The fries are the very thin and crunchy kind. And the salad was amazing. Great greens in it and super fresh. My husband had the ribs and said they were really good. We would definitely return here. Great food and great service. read more

The service was good. The inside is just a small little cafe type place so nothing fun or impressive. But the food was quite good (especially the pretzel...best I've ever had). The burnt ends had a good flavor but were more than half actual fat so I wouldn't recommend them for the price. The prices overall were pretty steep but kind-of what you expect in the area. The B Melt, y'all, the B Melt. I've been a lot of places, and seen a lot of things. The B Melt is one of the tastiest sandwiches ever. I questioned putting cheese on that bad boy prior to trying it, but I have to admit I was wrong. Way wrong. One hundred and eighty degrees wrong. Get the B Melt. My regret is that the wife got the B Melt, and I got the combo. The combo with brisket and ribs was good. The brisket bested the ribs by a decent margin. I'd go with something other than the ribs next time. The mac n cheese side is an excellent option, while the fries were just ok. Just get the B Melt. My son went with the mini sliders. I didn't get to try them but he said they were good, only they were drowning in cole slaw. It did seem as if they were a tad overzealous with the slaw. Get the B Melt. If I made the B Melt, it would be the only thing I'd sell. That's probably why I'm not a business owner. But, if I ever get back to Victor, Idaho, I'm going with the B Melt. While I've written B Melt an unreasonable amount of times, I would be remiss if I didn't mention how great the service was here. Top notch. Great waitress.
