After carefully evaluating the merits of each, including reading Yelp and other reviews, we ended up selecting Rapid Roofing to do the work, even though they were not the cheapest. They were chosen because of the warranty they were able to provide (GAF Golden Pledge), provided a discount on the middle tier shingle due to a promotion that was in effect at the time, and because of interactions with Lee Ehlers, their Sales Consultant, who did an excellent job explaining what we should expect to happen before, during and after the installation. On installation day, the roofing crew arrived on time, and did a great job protecting the outside (i.e., landscaping, whole home generator, central AC unit, windows, etc.) from flying shingles and other debris. Onsite foreman, Josiah, did a top notch job in supervising the roofing crew resulting in the work being done within 8 hours. We found very few nails on the ground and no other debris when they left, so they did a good job of cleaning up afterward. Additionally, even though a few window screens were damaged during the tear off process, Josiah had them replaced within 48 hours. About 2 months after the installation, we noticed siding around the chimney was damaged and called Rapid Roofing to address. Dale Climer, their Service Manager, ensured our concerns were addressed, which were cosmetic (caused no leaking) and the siding was replaced in a timely manner. Everyone at Rapid Roofing was very professional to work with including the roofing crew, and our overall experience has been excellent. We highly recommend Rapid Roofing to handle your roofing needs!

My husband and I had this company come to our home last summer to repair a Queen Anne's corner on…read moreour roof. Earlier this month we noticed the shingles in that area had been pried upward. My husband outreached to them and NO response. We had a man come out to clean our gutters and looked at that area. The shingles are pried up. The wood underneath is rotted and the top of the downspout is exposed. We have had two roofing companies come out and look at it. We have gotten estimates each in the thousands to fix it. Both companies pointed out separately to us that whoever fixed it that last time (Ridge to Valley) did a "half assed job".....their words, not mine. It's incredibly disappointing that we couldn't even get so much as a response even if it's to say they're too busy. I understand the roofer cannot control wildlife such as squirrels, etc getting in there but I question if that would've happened had the repair been better.

Dominic did a complete inspection before telling us our options. He walked around on the roof and took photos. He did not try to talk us into any upgrades, but we decided since the roof was old, we'd ask for the shingles and any decking to be repaired. We decided we wanted the medium excellence option. We also asked for attic blown-in insulation, new gutters, and gutter shields. Dominic told us they'd put in some attic vents. In the end, they took it down to the rafters! As we had to be away when they started, Dominic was in touch with us on the phone or by email every step of the way, and answered every question. Roof Advance gave our little old house the boost it needed! It looks great, and, we have peace of mind knowing that we won't have to climb up to clean the gutters any more. They even gave us a senior discount, which we were not expecting. Their requested deposit wasn't a lot of money. They have an easy way to pay by e-check, or by credit card online. Genesis gave me a very fair price and I did not feel like I was being pushed into a decision like some of the other "big box" roofing companies with flashy trucks and sales bros. Chris was extremely professional and made the process very smooth and stress free. He walked me through exactly what to expect. The crew was polite and very efficient. Showing up at 7:30am and working until the job was done around 6pm. They replaced the old rotten wood and even corrected my attic ventilation. They were also very careful around my landscaping. I was nervous about the debris damaging my new shrubs I just planted. I think they even left my yard cleaner than it was originally! Very happy with the process and the new roof looks amazing.

Quickly called over to the owner who responded by having one of his head guys check the roof job. After checking the roofing, he stated there was no issue with the roofing but there was debris in gutter causing the leak (I am not sure how that would impact and leaking roof). Hubby and I drove over to the home to find not even the slightest amount of residue in the gutter, no evidence of "over flowing" debris. Owner refuses to acknowledge any ownership to the problem- a leaking roof within 3 years of installing a new roof? Insane. I will be filing a claim with the BBB to resolve the issue as the damage is not a simple paint job...... Never again.

My biggest fear was if mold was behind the tile - he was confident it wasn't. But of course I asked if it was and he did give me a price like I asked so I would be prepared. The work took 2 days due to drying time and he was able to work with my weird schedule as well. Definitely will use company in the future.
