Drinks and food were great! Our waitress was super accommodating of a party of 8 and took us to a back section and put tables together for us. She also memorized who ordered what drink and came out with funny dad jokes! The place itself is attached to a hotel, and the ambiance is upscale and modern.

Excellent restaurant within the kimpton hotel in Nashville. Service is excellent and all of the food options looked delicious. I ordered the chicken that was served with the gnocchi and it came out super fast, and more than delicious. Highly recommend if staying in the hotel or even if just in the area

Great dinner in Nashville! Stayed at the hotel and brought our pup down for dinner and restaurant was so sweet to our boy, the service was great and the food was delicious! Such a fun night on the patio. The burger was great (fries were amazing!) along with the fried goat cheese salad, fried green tomato dip and chorizo Mac and cheese! We ordered chicken for our pup and he loved it too!

we ordered food from here since we stayed at the hotel. we only ordered breakfast and had a few drinks one night. the breakfast was pretty good. i got the henley scramble and it came with scrambled eggs in veggies, sausage gravy, and grits. it was a good plate but needed salt on the grits. we got the side of tater tots in cheese and i thought those were pretty standard. nothing too special but still good. the dinner menu items were i think too much for me? the main item on the dishes sounded good but it was the items paired with it that didn't sound good. that's just my opinion but im giving my review based on what i actually ate. overall it's a beautiful restaurant with good food but maybe the dinner menu items just aren't for my liking.

Service was excellent Duck pasta was interesting Lamb meatballs had pork so I was sad but hubby said it was good. The sauce and veggies were yummy. The fish was whipped so that was interesting. Over all a good experience but not quite my taste.

Delicious all around!! Very classy place either way great good. Select options to choose from, conveniently located in hotel, but no parking so you need to use garage or walk from wherever you were. Great atmosphere and staff. There are booths and a bar to choose from. Note: can be pricey.

Happy hour from 2-6pm; it's not super cheap but still fun to enjoy. The chicken 615 was quite good. Small little bites of very well fried crispy chicken with this yogurt-y spicy mayo-ish sauce. The Caesar salad was pretty standard; crunchy pieces of lettuce with a good amount of dressing and these fried cheese blocks. I ordered the reginetti for my entree and it was great! Pasta was really well cooked and the sauce was very creamy and just the right amount of sweetness balanced with savoriness.

First time in Nashville and we stumbled upon Henley for brunch. We stayed at Loews near Vanderbilt and it was a 6-7 minute walk to Henley. The host and waitress were friendly and welcoming. The food was really good too. We had the Not So Average Biscuits and Gravy and Southern Scramble. Both dishes were reasonably priced for brunch; about $15 each. The biscuits and gravy is a good option for a vegetarian diet - very flavorful without meat. The ambience is beautiful and there was an amazing singer, Heidi Burson, to complement. Visit this place when you're in town and you won't be disappointed.

This review is specifically for Rabbit Hole at Henley, a one per night only four-person tasting menu experience. I give it 4 stars for food, but I wish I could give it an extra half a star for the excitement of the environment and service. You walk in and are seated at the bar first, before following your personal waitress for the night (who by the way, is super friendly and sweet) to what seems like a normal wall. Shockingly, she then pushes the wall open to reveal the kitchen and a small, beautifully decorated table: The Rabbit Hole. All night, you are seated by yourself where you can watch the kitchen at work, and the executive chef is concentrated only on you and your food for 2+ hours. We were first given a bit of fortified wine before being briefed on the 13 courses to come. **BE AWARE: if you go down the Rabbit Hole only as 2 people, you WILL likely be seated with 2 strangers. Just be prepared for that. And enjoy meeting new people. :) We went as a group of 4 friends and that was super awesome and personal too.** I won't walk you through every single course, simply because they change every week so that wouldn't be helpful. However, I'll give you a general overview and some standouts. The dishes were unique, but because of the recent changing of executive chefs, I believe the emphasis has shifted from wild, gastronomic antics to just really well executed dishes. However, we still found a good bit of creativity. Some standouts were a 3 piece starter of various crisped up ingredients with umami flavors, a carrot soup with a pico de gallo and tempura crisp, one of the most well cooked trouts I've ever had, mexican fudge cake with passionfruit meringue, and basil ice cream. I'll say again, what really stood out to me was how well executed everything was, not necessarily any mindblowing pairings or presentations. One of the dishes that remains almost always on the menu is an iberico pork with a sort of corn sauce and whole green peppercorns. As a pepper lover, this was insane, since I've never had non-dehydrated peppercorns. A party in the mouth! Some of the dishes I liked less were a melon and avocado salad (boring), a sort of fried squash (again, less interesting), and the little treats at the end. But overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I LOVED how intimate it was and how kind and silly the staff were. **Also, I reccommend just being in the moment for the initial "opening of the rabbit hole," and then, if you want to take a video for your instagram or friends, just ask the waitress to go back through after.

We had a great time at Henely! The food was amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. We were helped by Sydnee who explained all the dishes well and ensured to always check in on us. Marissa also took us to see the Rabbit hole experience which will be a must book in the future. Highly recommend this spot! Ea

Located right under a hotel, this little spot is a spot for a romantic dinners and dinner with friends on special occasions. My girlfriend and I came on New Years Eve to try their pre-fix menu for $150 a person. The pre-fix was decent. It was made for the New Years Eve dinner event. Order: 2 pre-fix, a cosmo, and a partridge in a pear tree Comment: The food was good but lacked that punch that would otherwise have made this a great meal. The crab bisque was definitely one of my favorites and it has changed my perspective on any future bisques I try. The beef tartare lacked punch whether it was in the sourness of the lemon or the lack of spiciness from the pepper. The king crab pasta was decent but was definitely dryer than I was expecting. The iberico was uneven with a couple pieces being way bigger than others. Finally, the homemade ice cream has pieces of crunch which was a good idea in concept but was poorly done in execution. Some pieces were WAY too big and my tooth hurt from biting into it. Would not recommend that as a dessert. Overall: the experience was nice but not worth the total of $350. They had clearly marked up the price astronomically for New Years and did spend nearly enough time to execute the courses. I would not recommend this pre-fix menu if you have other options. I could see myself coming for drinks at their bar as it was a nice spot near the center of their restaurant.

I stayed at the Kimpton for my brother's wedding & had Sunday brunch at Henley the following morning. The decor is very pleasing on the eyes & the back dining space even more so. I started off with a Kevin Bacon Old Fashioned & boy was it tasty. It was sweet enough to be a dessert but at the same time you could taste the bacon with every sip. Aromatic & strong as it should be. I had the server help me choose my food as everything sounded too good. She suggested the French toast Monte cristo & since I've only had a Monte cristo sandwich maybe twice in my life I went with the recommendation. It was phenomenal. Full of flavor in each bite with pillow soft French toast bread. I almost forgot to take a photo I was so busy enjoying it. Luckily I captured half of it before it disappeared. Service was great as there was a party of 9 of us & I'd love to come back & have lunch or dinner here.

HEADS-UP the happy hour menu is bar-top only, so plan accordingly if you're going specifically for those deals. Limited seating available. Happy Hour & Spice Level I had the happy hour cocktail it was bourbon, lemon and honey. The food was flavorful overall, but I do wish the menu clearly noted which items are spicy. Most of the happy hour dishes seemed to have some kind of chili oil or heat element. That may be great for people who enjoy spice, but it would be helpful to know ahead of time, especially if you're sensitive to heat. For dessert, we always come back for the chocolate panna cotta with graham cracker crumble and burnt marshmallow, which was a nice sweet finish. This one is a must! To put this into next level I recommend adding the pretzel bites instead of graham cracker and a few salted flakes. We also tried the almond butter cornbread with blackberry, but I would avoid it. It was pretty dry and didn't have enough balance. The manager? Said it was a new item they were trying. I think it would be much better with ice cream or a salted caramel sauce to add moisture and richness. It was dry even when I mentioned it they didn't comp it we only had a bite and immediately decided it wasn't worth it. Final Thoughts Overall, Answer is a nice spot with a great happy hour, but clearer spice notes on the menu and a few tweaks to the dessert options would make the experience better. If you are seating by the bar it gets loud I wish the bartender doesn't just throw the drinks/plates so aggressively that it clanks. Also this place gets loud definitely not a lot for sound to absorb.

The hostess greeted us with "if you don't have a reservation, you can have a table for 45 minutes." No where did I see that reservations are required. Luckily 3 spots opened at the bar so we sat there because we were told "you can sit there with no time limit." The bartender serving us made no effort to look anything but annoyed with our presence. We had never been there and had questions but she would just point at the menu. I ordered a Diet Coke, which came in a can, one person with me ordered an old fashioned which was more glass than drink and the other people picked a beer from the list the bartender silently pointed at. This would have been a cool place if at least 1 person working here didn't look like they hated being there. Because of how we had been treated from the start we only ordered 2 appetizers, the dip and the flatbread. The dip was fine but the flatbread was like cat food on burnt toast. Oh and don't bother ordering a tea, I saw them serving bottles of gold peak tea, can't even brew tea. I do not recommend this spot unless you are okay with feeling like a burden and eating subpar food.
