Absolute rip off!!!! My mom took her car there and mind you she is 74 years old. They replaced her brake rotors and charged her 130.00 a piece. I called there and asked what brand and he said NAPA. I called NAPA to see how much they were and the guy told me 58.00 a piece. I called the store and talked to some big assistant manager named Darren. One of the most arrogant people I have ever talked with. He kept asking me if I was a mechanic and I told him I've changed enough brakes that I know it isn't well over a thousand dollars. To which he replies, well if you could do them cheaper why didn't you just do them? I explained that I live over 600 miles away and hate to see a 74 year old woman be taken advantage of. I took a chance after reading previous reviews and my experience was a mess... (also note that when you sign to get your vehicle looked over there's a waiver type sentence that they will do their best to replace everything as it should be put back together) I called and scheduled an appointment for an alignment (because they are free), some grinding noise, and a misfire type feeling going on. I arrived explained again what I needed and decided to add a fluid check (had a coupon). Within 15 minutes, I realized he didn't ask me about the alignment. I found a guy in the office and told him that I wanted an alignment check, he said he'd notify the mechanic. 2 hours later, I was given the repair estimate. Two fluids were highly suggested and one fluid was okay but should be replaced soon and the CV Shaft (what they said was giving me the rumbling and misfire feeling). They hadn't done my alignment because it wasn't written down from my call and the guy didn't tell them, but they would add that on. 2 more hours later the CV shaft and fluids were replaced for about $525 (that's after two coupons, one for 20% off on the fluids and one for $50 off the total). I asked about the alignment and they had another vehicle on the rack but told me "I could come back another day, it'll only take 20 minutes." ... Ummmm what?? I asked for one three times and I was waiting there for FOUR hours AND made an appointment ahead of time to get my vehicle looked over! I couldn't believe it when he said that. As I walked outside my vehicle was being pulled up and it was still making a grinding noise. I went back inside and asked about it and they said that they couldn't find anything important causing the grinding sound and that it's fine. My car was also still doing the rumbling/ misfire feeling so I bit the bullet and brought it to a Chevy dealership. I paid $250 for the diagnostics on all of the issues and it was well worth it: 1. The grinding noise was from two backing plates that were rusted and a little warped. They just needed to be cleaned or replaced. 2. The rumbling/ misfire feeling was from two bad sparks plugs. 3. The other fluid Big O Tires suggested I replace soon was in good condition to Chevy. 4. I did a free alignment check at Steve's Auto World on Maple Grove Parkway. Everything is all taken care of now and I won't be returning to Big O Tires. read more

I was struggling to set the bead on my lawn tractor tires. Called around, another big box retailer said I was 25th in line and I would be looking at over a week wait time. So I swung into Big O and they were able to help me while I waited (under 5min). Very reasonable priced for saving me a huge headache! read more

I have great service sometimes then not so great service. Oil change specials are hit or miss. Apparently sometimes you need the coupon and sometimes you don't. And sometimes they will offer you the discount price and sometimes they don't. I wish their stance on specials were a bit more across the board. The store manager is very nice and talks to you about options and not very pushy to spend more of your money. read more

I have been a customer of Big O Tires for over 10nyears and have had varying experiences with their service, both good and bad. This last visit however was so disappointing, I will not return in the future. One morning my car would not start near their Champlin location so I pushed it over to their lot. After sitting in their lot a few days, they called to let me know my vehicle had runout of gas. I proceeded to fill a gas can and fill up my vehicle. A few minutes after leaving the parking lot with a full tank of gas, my car died on the side of the road. I had to pay for a tow to a shop, who then informed me I needed a new fuel pump. My frustration with this situation is that I paid for the diagnostic ($153.99) and was told the problem was different from the real cause which then led to a tow fee and the cost of the second repair. read more

Move up here from Arkansas, and been looking for a good tire shop. My left front tire was showing nothing on the tire monitor. I brought it in to BigO tires. They put a new sensor in the tire, and it worked fine. It didn't take more then a half hour. Today I brought my car in for an oil change. I also had the right rear tire not showing any tire pressure. They reclined the sensors and that tire monitor was good. They told me they didn't have to replace that sensor. I was happy. I will be back read more

I went to get my tire repaired they have really bad customer service at this store. When I first walked in I had to wait 5mins for the guy to come to the front which wasn't a problem. His name is Matt and he was very rude I told him that I would be giving a review and giving a call to the corporate office which I did. I will never go to this store again he told me it would take over an hour to fix a flat. When there were no other customers in the store. I'm pretty sure they need all the business they can get at a time like this with all this COVID-19 going on. read more

Don't bother with their "free" tire repair. They said they couldn't repair my tire (leak was in the sidewall) and quoted a new tire, $160. Decided to try another shop and they had no trouble repairing my tire that had a nail in it. read more

Called to schedule an LOF appointment. Asked if there were any specials. Was told no. Came in and paid $34.12. The sign out front said Oil Change $17.99. Advertisement received in the mail last week said Oil Change $18.99. Hope they are happy. read more

Great Big O Tires location! We had issues with the location closer to our house, and because of that received a voucher for money off of our synthetic oil change. The Champlin location had good reviews, so I decided to give them a try. They changed my oil, and rotated my tires, and completely covered the cost. Very friendly service, I'll definitely be back for service and tires in the future. read more

I went shopping for tires for Black Friday and thought I found a deal at Big O Tires. They had a buy 3 get one free. I placed an order on-line and received a call the tires would not be in until Tuesday. When I dropped off the car the tires were not in and the price was over $110 higher. They said the price did not include installation and when I received the quote I made sure to click on installation Unfornuately the quote that was emailed to me was vague and says "Due to technical difficulties, in rare instances, the website pricing may not properly reflect pricing at the store. Please contact the store to verify" I should of contacted the store to verify but I did buy tires previously at this location when it was NTB and they had a great deal that no one could touch. Now I can not get any of the deals for Black Friday that I passed up on and I contacted Big O Tires and still waiting for a call back. I will never go back to this company that uses bait and switch All other quotes I receive on-line are very clear about installation - The store said that was not their issue as it was an on-line order -- Waste of time and money read more

Needed brakes repaired immediately, they were able to work me into the schedule without issue, received better brake pads than I paid for, was done quickly and no problem with brakes now. Great customer service! Will consider them for future repairs. read more
