This big O tire told me that they could not fix a little leak on my tire, they wanted me to buy a brand new tire. I Just went and got it fixed for 20 bucks. When I left my seat was completely adjusted to fit the tech, the mirror and radio station and temperature as well. I had never had this happen before. Thursday October 5th I dropped my car off at Big-O tires for a new rear tires and an oil change. I dropped it off at approximately 11am. By 5:50pm I had not received contact regarding my car, so I reached out to them and they let me know they were about to do the oil change on my car. At 6:09 they called me and told me they were keeping my car overnight because after the oil change the car was smoking out of the exhaust. I was stuck in Gilbert overnight and had to pay for an uber 40 minutes back home. In the morning they informed me my car was not drivable and needed to be towed. I did not argue, I rented a trailer and made the trip back out there to tow my car to a bmw specific shop (Vader Solutions). After his inspection of the car he determined the wrong type of oil was used, causing the turbo to fail. For context this turbo is just over 3,000 miles old. I had it installed by Vader Solutions 6 months prior. The car was running perfectly when i arrived at Big-O and had to be picked up on a tow truck. Big-O tires is denying all responsibility, they are not releasing the video footage from that day to me. They are threatening Vader Solutions with legal action, and questioning his credibility. They have not offered to pay for the damage, or my expenses that were caused by it. I received a quote from Vader Solutions to fix the damage and it is over 5100 dollars. I have no way to afford this, Big-O has made it clear they are not going to pay. I now have no vehicle. On the paperwork they gave me (repair order) There is no mention of them doing an oil change. Adding to that the odometer reading on the paperwork is over 135,000 miles. My car arrived at Big-O with 58,500 miles. Completely unprofessional and negligent work. I have been in contact with the district manager Mike Williams and he has made his position clear. read more

I came in to do a normal oil change and they let me know that my wheels were not aligned. I explained that the jeep dealership just did it recently. They showed me what the issue was printed out a picture and told me what I needed to tell the jeep dealership. I decided to go to the dealership and have them fix my car where they then told me I had over $2000 worth of damage underneath my car and I was eventually going to have to get all new tires on my jeep. I told the guys at Big O tires what happened, and they told me to bring my car in with no charge and they would inspect it for me. They found no issues or problems with the underneath of my car or any issues with my tires. They saved me so much money and anxiety. Dale is amazing first off. And before Dale there was Tony who moved to chandler and is now in casa grand. That being said I spend allot of time and money here due to six kids and 4 cars. I hate going to these places due to men seeing women and treating them extremely differently. There is a new guy Tony in the front and wait her he hates life and or hates his job. He is always from day one RUDE! If I ever say anything about dale it's well dale handles it wrong or this isn't policy. Tonight his words backfired on him. My car was finished at 5:28 and I got the text it was ready as soon as text came in he called me. Tony said car is ready I said can you leave keys in car and I'll grab later? Mind you Tony did this for my mini van when he messed up greatly on time last time. And had to stay open til I believe 7. He said I can't do that it's against policy and i don't care what dale dose but it's not policy. Touché. So then can you pick us up we need the car tonight? He was like well I can't do it cause there's is still a bill? Duh?? I can pay over the phone but being that you didn't give me that option I'll wait for a ride? Well I do t know if we can I have 3 techs and one something else?? Well I tried and you won't meet me half way so please send us a ride. We love DALE!! Always been kind. My daughters car got it's oil change however she won't even stop foot in there because it's not Dale? Then Josh answered phone to tell me Tony is coming however before Josh hung up phone he was laughing and talking crap and I called back and said Josh maybe next time make sure phone is completely hung up. PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY: this has been an almost 3 month long issue, gone back to them 4-5 times, and spent about $2,000. My AC went out and I initially went in for one of their specials that included an ac check. They said I just needed an evac and recharge and I was good to go. About a week later I have to go back because my ac is out again. They put dye in (come to find out that'l was a lie) and said I should be good. Another week ish later I go back because my ac is out again. They say I may need a whole new ac system, and I'm freaking out since I don't have $3000 to spend. Then the guy Tony comes back and says it's just an evaporator coil that's causing the leak. After maxing out my cc my ac works for about a week and I'm back AGAIN. This time Tony says they just needed to tighten a valve and replace some cap or something. Less than 5 days later it's out again. I go to a different place and they say there's absolutely no sign of dye and there's most likely a leak. So I'm thinking they either have mechanics who have no idea what they're doing or they're taking advantage of the fact I'm a girl. Either way I'm never going there again and I highly recommend you do research and get a second opinion on any service you get done at this place if you insist on going here. read more

Brought my car in to have a tire I had bought from them recently looked at. Guy came out, said it's a bubble and the tire would need to be replaced. They didn't have one in stock so he ordered it and said to come back tomorrow and it would be replaced for free as a defect. So far so good until the next day... I go in, they take my car back and replace the tire. Then after the tire was replaced a manager called me up and proceeded to me it wouldn't be covered because I must have hit a curb.. which I didn't! He then said the person who sold me my tires didn't include the warranty in the price and that he wasn't going to pay for it... basically stating it was my fault. I felt scammed they did the work then told me it all of a sudden isn't covered. I should have probably called bs and forced the issue thst they lied to me but I didn't think it would help. No customer service. Don't trust this location, beware! Was going to have them do a oil change and other work since I have a Big O card but won't be returning and cutting up the card. I caught a nail or screw in a tire on our '20 Toyota Highlander. I went to the nearby Toyota dealer thinking it'd be an easy fix considering the tires only had 6,500 miles on them. The dealer said I'd have to buy one new tire. The damage was nowhere near the sidewall so this was a complete sales job by the dealer. I decided to drive to the neighborhood Big-O for an opinion/repair. Not only did they take my vehicle on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment, they had the tire service completed before the store closed for the day. They didn't even charge me for the service which was completely unexpected! They just earned themselves a new customer and I definitely recommend them for this above and beyond service. read more

***WARNING : THEY ONLY DO OIL CHANGES AFTER 5pm Even though they are open until 7pm I called the day before to inquire about an alignment. I ask when they close. He said 7 but for an alignment I need to be there no later than 5 pm. The next day I arrive at 4:50pm. I ask for an alignment and guess what he said !!! THEY ONLY DO OIL CHANGES AFTER 5 pm !! . I mentioned the conversation I had the day prior and with no accountability he said I can leave my car there to be worked on tomorrow. Basically leave it or leave. I had a flat tire on Monday and thought I had bought my tires from Big O so that's where I headed. I came an hour and a half before they closed and I believe I was helped by the manager. He was obviously annoyed I had come and as he helped me, he sighed a lot and was short with his answers. He looked up my number and we discovered I had bought tires for a previous car from them but not my current tires. I left and remembered I had purchased them from Pep Boys, so that's where I headed. Pep Boys was across town so by the time I got there, it was about an hour an a half before they closed. The experience was night and day from the one I had at Big O. I was greeted upon entry and the gentleman was very nice, told me the wait time and said they would get it taken care of. I waited in the waiting room and when they finished, he brought me the paperwork and said I was all set. The flat was covered and I didn't owe anything (I think I have hazard insurance or something)! If I could give a negative star I would. Stopped in to get a tire rotation, Gilbert, Warner and Lindsey store. We purchased tires and as part of the purchase tire rotation would be included. I was asked if I had made an appointment. I hadn't made an appointment and needed to be somewhere in two hours so I could wait and was told car would be done in an one hour. 2 hours later the car hadn't moved from the parking lot. I had to leave and made an appointment for the next Saturday. I arrived for my APPOINTMENT. They took keys, drove the car in an out of a couple of bays and left it sit on the alignment rack. I waited 2.5 hours before I told them I needed to leave and they asked if I had an appointment because they are very busy????????? Yes I had and it was 2.5 hours ago I needed to leave. OH they said they did an alignment. I wasn't there for an alignment so big deal. These guys are truly out to lunch and not coming back soon.They gave the car back without any paperwork. We have no idea what in the heck they did if anything other than drive it in and out of a couple of bays. I looked at the lug nuts and they do not appear to have been touched as the dust and dirt are not disturbed on any of the tires! I STILL NEED A ROTATION !!!! Don't waste your time with this store on Warner. They are very disrespectful of the customers time. No one moves faster than a tortoise in a snow storm unless heading for the doughnut box. read more

Brought it here to be patched, the guy took one look and said he couldn't fix it cause it "went in at an angle" then he tried to charge me $280 for a new tire and installation. I brought it to the big o closer to my house for a second opinion. They patched it for free within 30 minutes. I pulled up and the service representative Mike walked out and greeted me at my vehicle. I was amazed- he said " you're here for something related to your vehicle so it's best to begin at your vehicle " Amazing- They fixed my flat tire , checked air pressure in all other tires and handed me a bill for 0, that's right ZERO $. I would have gladly paid for the incredible service but he said keep us in mind when you need other services for your vehicle, we don't charge to repair a tire, we're just happy that we could help you out" I plan on being a customer for life! I usually do not like to leave poor reviews but in this case it is well earned. I purchased a set of tires from this shop. Dropped my truck off for a 1:00 appointment and wasn't done until 8:30PM after telling us 5:30-6:00PM. They treated my wife poorly in her opinion compared to how they treated men. Not a great way to do things!! Lastly they mixed up the tire pressure monitors in the tires so I had to take off 3 tires and move them to the proper wheels. I could have taken it back but at this stage they had lost any credibility and I did it myself. Will never buy tires from this company again... read more

Shady shady shady Do not trust! My daughter purchase new tires got a wheel alignment, Fuel service 3 part fuel cleaning, Coolant flush , air filter and cabin air filter Roughly 3000 Miles ago! She just purchased a new car so we were selling her old one That all of this work was Allegedly performed on! 1st person that comes out and looks at it checks the air filter Like anyone that is buying a used car does. The problem is Big O rip off tire never put an air filter back in the vehicle! So we thought I bet the cabin air filter wasn't replaced either! We immediately took the vehicle back to big O ripoff tire! They put a new air filter in. We watched them pull apart the Dashboard to do the cabin air filter. come to find out the original OEM air filter was still in the vehicle. So work And parts We paid for was never Done! No explanation given no apology Received! Unless you're watching them don't trust their work This is theft plain and simple. By the way the same day my daughter got this work Done originally. I also purchased a set of tires and an alignment for my wife's vehicle. My brother recommended this place after he purchased a new set of tires for his wife's vehicle , Both of his son's vehicle And for his own Dodge dually! Would give this place a 0 without a doubt. 108 day in AZ, had a flat tire and this place was the nearest tire shop to me. When I got there I asked if they could patch my tire. They said it was patchable, and it would be $20 to patch it. Gave them the okay, when they took off the tire, they said the tire was not patchable because I drove on it. I could not afford a new tire at that time, so I told them to put back my tire or my spare. The rude associate said he was still going to charge me $20 for "dismounting the tire." Are you kidding me? $20 to dismount the tire? Oh but signs all over the store say "free air check" and "two free tires when you buy two." Oh, but to dismount your tire, not patch it, or do a damn thing but "dismount" it, that will be $20. What a rip off store! read more

They said I didn't have an appointment and that they don't have me in their system at all, even though the person I spoke to on the phone confirmed my appointment for Saturday. Went to Big O primarily because the quote ($2,000.00) for my Toyo tires. Past experience told be that although they sell over sized tires, they simply do not possess the equipment to properly balance them. No surprise when my truck road like crap but not to worry I had a work around, or so I thought! Took my vehicle to dealership since my truck was ordered as it sits directly from them and they do have ability to properly balance oversized tires. Unfortunately I no sooner left when I received a phone call starting that it needed to go back to whom ever installed tires because lug nuts were over tighten. After contacting Big O I was informed that "I should have given them the opportunity to correct balance issue". No worries I informed them, it's coming your way now! I was assured they were not over tightened and that they would get them off. Fast forward 36 hours..... "Yeah your lug nuts are defective" (REALLY) long story short, they couldn't get them and actually made the issue worse. Prior to taking vehicle back to dealership to have 2 of the wheels literally cut off I call Jack from Napa Auto care on McQueen rd. He assured me that he would get the off which he did in fact do. I asked what caused this and he informed me that the lug nuts were simply over tightened. He also informed me that it appeared that they were put on directly with an impact gun because there was some cross threaded studs as well. Thanks again Big O, the $400.00 bucks you saved me cost me an additional $600.00 not to mention that my center caps look like they were dragged across your shop floor! Do yourself a favor folks and find another local tire shop. Just curious, anyone else experience an issue of this magnitude? read more

My experience here was bad enough to make me leave my first EVER negative review. I went in to replace a tire, which I had a warranty on from another store. They said this store didn't carry it and looked at me as if the responsibility of finding a solution was mine. I had to leave after an hour and then it took two weeks, and multiple calls to the store for them to a get a tire in for me. Then it took two hours to finally replace the tire, which in no way matched my other three, and they horribly scratched my rim in the process of replacing the tire. All the while only one of 5 staff members I had to interact with to get this done was friendly. Horrible experience overall. read more

They had my car all day until close, I had to call them to see if it was done, they said yes and when I came down to get my car, they only put on the tires and said oh we forgot to do the oil change. The lack of professionalism here is astounding. I've used Big O several times, never really much to complain about, never a WOW! factor, never very friendly, but whatever... it's a tire shop. This location though, my god.. I walk in tell the guy at the counter (who I think was the Manager?) that I was sent from another location to have a warranty tire replacement done since the other location did not have the correct tire in stock. The other location told me that I had in fact purchased the protection plan, which turned out not to be true.. No big deal. The first thing out of the guys mouth, to me, is "Why the hell are they send us THEIR damn warranty jobs! Those guys are IDIOTS!".. Obviously, this made me uncomfortable; I was pretty annoyed as well. Then, he pulls out his cell phone, sends a text that took darn near 5 minutes to send, then says "give me your keys, it will be 45 minutes". Ok, thanks?? Next I ask, "Do you have Wifi?" And he states, "yeah, password is the store's phone number" and walks away. Thanks again Captain Customer Service, I'll figure it out. The visit got not better from that point on, I was charged for the tire (no big deal) because "It's not my fault the other guy screwed up" as the moron manager stated. What a Joke. read more

Nate was awesome , he told me he would fit me in & help me with my flat tire ( the other big o told me they were too busy and couldn't stay late to help; mind you this was at 3pm & they close at 7pm). As soon as I got there I was met with many smiling faces. The guy helped me out and kept me informed with everything going on. While I was waiting Nate came up introduced himself and apologized for the treatment from the other big O. My tire was put on by milo ( who was also awesome!) in a timely manner & everything was great, I will totally drive out of my way to come here again. read more

I used to love coming here. Because they took great care of me. They're service has gotten terrible. I went for a $16.95 oil change that cost $30 and asked them to repair a tire leak. He told me the leak was due to a giant nail that was on the side of the tire and unrepairable. He recommended replacing the tire and might be ok with not replacing all the tires. My tires are Michelin and 4 months old. I felt his assessment suspect and went down the road. They repaired my tire with no issues and no charge. It was a small screw, by the way.
