I am writing this review on behalf of my 84 year old father who just returned from a tune up for his Toyota FJ Cruiser. My father asked the manager if all the work was completed according to the advertisement's work guarantee specifically a full tire rotation. The manager says: Yes, and noted in the invoice that it was completed. My father proceeded to ask: do you think your employees are honest enough to tell you that they rotated the tires? Manager says: Yes. Then my father told him that " then you must not uphold your "Honesty Guaranteed" commitment because prior to you working on my car, I took pictures of my front and back tires and marked them to verify if it has been done. When services were done, I checked and noticed that my tires weren't rotated at all as the same tires had those marks after I got my car back." The manager seemed stunned and went back to verify with his team if it was completed. Manager returned and apologized to my father and stated that it wasn't rotated after all and he would like to take the car back to rotate the tires while he waits. Keep in mind he had already waited for this work to be done. In other words, they are reporting work that is not done on the vehicle that they quoted my father initially. I consider this fraud and negligent in this location's part and I believe the intent was to discount the fact that my father is an elderly person and was taken advantage of. I can only imagine this happening to others like him. I advised my father to never return to this location and will be reporting this incident to your corporate headquarters. Whether the cost is $67 or $500, as a consumer, this is disappointing to experience. I strongly advise you to conduct proper training for your staff and more importantly review your company values as they are not being fostered, at least not at this location. This is a safety and integrity issue for me as a consumer and needs to be addressed with your team. This is unacceptable. The location is Big O #4251 3273 Williams Field Rd in Gilbert, AZ Mgr: Michael Housekneccht

Here's my receipt of me paying eighty six dollars just to change my front light bulb

Do not come to this place unless you want to pay way over what anybody else would charge. I was working with this man named Steve and they charged me eighty six dollars to change my front. After Waiting for about an 2 hours and letting Steve know I really had to get home to attend to my pup. Finally I see, my car get moved from the parking lot to the service shop. Literally 3 minutes later the guy walks in with my keys and the light was switched out. I expected to be charged at least forty-five dollars maybe fifty at the most. They charged me $86. The light bulb was only twenty dollars and the labor for less than two minutes was fifty dollars. Steve tried to say well labor one point something minutes. So pretty much this place charges fifty dollars 2 minutes Of labor. I find that very hard to believe I'm not done with this place.I'm definitely getting hold of the better business bureau. I think it's awful to be taking advantage of I don't mind paying for your labor but fifty dollars for 2 minutes of labor and you made me wait two hours

First off I had a blow out and barely made it in here. They charged me $1400 for four new tires because they said I have all wheel drive. My sensor never once has turned on in the past. Once I left my light wasn't reset so I had to drive 45 miles back the next day. The guy JASON- ASSISTANT MANAGER tells me I had a broken sensor he was already aware but never mentioned it. Lack of transparency and communication. I will say employees are nice but wasted my time 1 times at two hours each visit and still had to go to dealership. All they did was reset my damn tires sensor. Big O said I needed new sensors. Urg! Again 4 minutes at Infinity problem solved cost $0

How I found the radiator hose when I opened the hood
    Luke D.

Took my car here to get an oil change, they didn't replace the crush washer so it leaked oil till I changed it myself and they didn't screw the skid place on correctly so it fell off on the highway I took my car here to get the transmission fluid replaced, I triple checked to make sure they could do it in one day. They took the old fluid out, but didn't have the right wrench to put the new fluid in so I had to wait an extra day I had them flush my radiator so my heater would work better, heater did not work better till I did it myself They replace the coolant hose at the same time. While I was driving up the mountain my car had low coolant; when I checked the engine the hose had slipped of the radiator causing my car to overheat. They didn't even tighten the hose clamp. Later coolant started leaking from the other end I had them flush the power steering fluid, nothing wrong with this one yet. They didn't give me a refund for any of this

We spoke to William, and he was the inital point of contact and continual contact during the duration of our car being there. He was rude from the start. He called and spoke to my husband after the car being there for over 2 hours to give an update. He said whoever change the thermostat that they spilled coolant where it shouldn't be. We obviously told him from the start it was changed by us and he proceeded to say whoever changed it, it wasn't cool that there was coolant everywhere. Again I reiterated that it was us and we knew. The coolant reservoir was full when we initially dropped it off we checked it and knew that it was! My husband expressed that he wasn't listening to him and that he was kind of rude on the phone yet again! So I called our normal Big O we go to (only came here for convenience of it being closer since we moved). Explained my situation to the gentleman, he called over here and then William called my husband and was rude again and I spoke to him regarding the issue. He stated I wasn't listening and I was the one being rude after he was being disrespectful and misogynistic toward me as I was asking questions. He proceeded to tell me the coolant was "empty" nothing in the tank. Please explain how it was empty when my husband, dad and myself saw it was full 2 hours ago with NO LEAKS and according to them doing a pressure test and they refilled it for the test "because it was empty" and had no leaks. I called BULL!! I then told William I was disappointed with the service and treatment we were receiving and he got aggressive and rude and was very disrespectful!! I said I'd speak to his manager tomorrow since he wasn't on and I was met with "Don't worry I'll be here when you come in to speak with him tomorrow"... That is a threat!!! I was never disrespectful until he decided to tell me I wasn't listening and speaking to me as if I was stupid. I called our original Big O we used prior, they called the location my vehicle is at for more information as well to help me and he was treated the same by William and he proceeded to say that we were disrespectful and we needed to come confront him and that he won't allow them to cover the diagnosis payment that it's OUR responsibility and hung up on him! Basically he's looking for confrontation at this point because he is mad I defended myself. Rude, VERY RUDE!!! I have never been treated this way by anyone at Big O. We then got a call back from the other Big O we are transferring our vehicle to and said Williams called and there is no charge for today as we were arriving to the location for my keys. I was fully prepared for a confrontation with this man as I brought my husband and dad with me in case he tried to be rude again. All I wanted was to have my vehicle fixed and be treated respectfully and not like I'm stupid or talked down to! I'm disappointed! I'll be reaching out to management, and corporate because if this is how you all allow your employees to treat people you need a serious wake up call! Women should be able to come in and feel welcome and helped with kindness. I never once raised my voice until he spoke rudely to me over the phone then I defended myself and both my husband and dad heard how I was spoken to! We won't be back, we won't recommend this location and something needs to be done!! DO BETTER!

My family and friends have been going to HFAC for years and I can honestly say that I've saved thousands and thousands of dollars in the past few years. The owner, Jake, is very knowledgeable and most of all.... HONEST! He takes the time to analyze the issue, explain what needs to be done and why. Then, he makes sure it is done RIGHT! I have been to many other shops ranging from small to big dealerships and not a single one of them can come close to the integrity and quality of work that Higley Family Auto Care provides. My daughter's car had an issue that a "big shop" said would cost thousands to fix but when I took it to HFAC, all it needed was a transmission fluid flush! That saved me thousands right there. There's no other shop I would trust to take care of my family's vehicles now. We recommend HFAC to family and friends all the time because we know JJ and his crew will take good care of them like their own family. If you are looking for a mechanic with great price, excellent service, proven skills, and most of all integrity, go to Higley Family Auto Care!! You will not be disappointed!!
