Came in for a tire patch. The screw had punctured and it was 1.5 in from the edge. They said it was irreparable and then tried to sell me 3 new tires, saying the tread was worn badly on two others. These tires were put on less than a year ago with less than 6k miles driven so I knew they were being dishonest. Then tried to sell one tire for 477 - when all 4 cost 1640, more dishonesty. Went to another more reputable shop where they patched my tire for free and checked all other tires, stating they were in good condition. These guys are dishonest. Took my car in to have a screw removed, they tried to upswell me saying they couldn't remove the screw in that location but you need a new tire. This was their policy.The car has 16,000 mile on these tires Of course i said no and went to Roberts Tire and they pulled the screw and patched it at no charge. Run! This was our first time at this location and it is our last we only came here because they work with the credit program we were eligible for! Six hours to get two tires! We asked after we were approved for the credit they told us nothing down today all of a sudden we go to leave and they hit us with all this money we owed they were not clear they told us know we owed nothing The tires are crap service at the moment we are going to have to take it to another place to get them tightened so they are safe to drive run they don't give two shits about their customers just run! read more

Went in for oil change, tried to up sell me some filters (which is there job) except they are WAY over priced. $50 for one that cost $15 Then when I got it back they broke my glove box because they don't know what they doing and I am missing to screw off my air filter box. Nice enough but not worth it, I don't recommend this place better off doing it yourself. read more

We took car in for all wheel alignment. Mechanic came out and said we needed a battery becuz car was turning over properly and said we needed choke cleaned. The car had just been serviced at Mazda the week before and we have 90% on the battery and choke has been cleaned. Big O has saved us a few times this summer! First I got a flat tire which also messed up my parking break sensor. I called the dealership & they couldn't look at my car or flat tire for TWO WEEKS! We called Big O & they could help us right away!! Amazing!! Then a month later, my car battery died. (Talk about bad luck...) this time we went directly to Big O and got a new battery same day! Such a huge relief to not have to wait days or weeks for the dealership. read more

First off, don't mistake me for a Darren or Karen. LoL However, I couldn't let today's experience slide by. I arrived at this Big O (Higley & Williamsfield) around 8am for a tire rotation and an alignment. After 30 minutes of waiting, they completed the rotation. Due to that, my day was starting off great! Then I waited about 2 hours until they started on the alignment. Standard wait which is fine. Now here's where my frustration started to build up. They pulled my SUV around with the alignment report showing red on the drivers side rear. Keep in mind, this is upon completion. They tried BS'ing me about how that's the best they could do and that's "normal". This is me hearing them tell customers doing an alignment that everything will be green in the report when they pick it up. So after hearing their BS for a few minutes, I went to my glovebox to get a past alignment report where it was all green and what the numbers were. They looked stumped after seeing that I kept the previous report and so they took my SUV back to the lift again to get those numbers in green how they should be. After waiting for them to complete 2 more alignments on other vehicles, my SUV finally got serviced for the 3rd time. Upon completing that attempt, they pulled my SUV around and said it's good to go and they were showing me everything was all green. However, the report they were showing me was my previous document I handed to them earlier. They tried telling me it was today's report until they noticed the 2021 date on top. So here we go again, they have to put it back on the lift to generate the actual report to print it out. 4 attempts to get my SUV aligned and documented. The 3rd attempt he wanted me to come back the next day as if their screw up was my fault. This is me paying the higher rate for the alignment for a year too! I should've done the regular one time alignment as they won't be touching my SUV again. Here's the kicker, at the end of it all, without an apology of the 6 hour wait time in their lobby due to multiple mistakes they made, one of the front desk reps tried telling me that the alignment was good the first time as I'm holding each report in my hand proving otherwise as if I'm an idiot. Worst experience of my life at this location and I can't vouch for any of the mechanics I encountered as each one had a BS excuse and they only see you as a dollar sign. They BS you and test your knowledge and when they see you are vulnerable, they try to soak every dime. This was based off my observation with other customers while sitting there for 6 hours. They tried getting me at first until they realized I know how to work on my own vehicle. Other than tires and alignment. So I'll be searching for a new location now. read more

These idiot are incompetent. Told the guy I wanted 2 tires put in the front of my vehicle because one had a slow leak. First red flag was they only ordered one tire. So had to wait another 24 hrs to get my car. Only to find out 24 hrs later that they replaced the rear tires. Leaving the old bad front tire with the slow leak. Don't ever trust these losers with the safety of your vehicle! I with there was an option to not give them any stars, because this location certainly doesn't deserve one. read more

I wish they were an option for negative stars on yelp. I called ahead to this place to have some new tires and wheels swapped. They did not switch out the tire pressure monitoring system from the original wheels to the new ones which caused an issue. I let them know and they apologized and asked me to come back and they would fix it. I came back and they try to charge me the same amount again for the work they didn't do right the first time. I then asked for the owners name and he told me to take my wheels elsewhere. We won't be back here for any kind of service ever again. read more

Went in to get 4 new tires and an alignment. When I come to pick up the car I'm notified that my control arm is going to break soon, never said it was broken, just it was weak and on its way out. Fine and dandy, I get in my car and turn the wheel, Clunk clunk clunk. The control arm seems to be completely broken. I go back inside to explain to the gentleman my situation and that I was genuinely confused as it was not like this before I brought it in. Instead of hearing me out and understanding, he escalated the situation and became defensive about it. Anyone, even people who have never driven a car, would immediately notice a broken control arm. I would not have been able to drive 6 miles to the shop with a broken control arm! That's ridiculous! Instead of being level headed or taking any sort of responsible, the gentleman deflects all the blame on myself and typical wear. Typical wear happens when the car is being driven, not when it's being worked on at the shop. I came into the shop with a working control arm and left with a broken one and a repair bill for it. I am happy to pay the bill, I would just like some common courtesy and an employee that takes responsibility rather than placing blame on the customer. Expect to leave with more issues than what you came in with. read more

Been here a few times, I've had ok service before, staff is nice, but they will try to upsell, which is their job so I don't blame them for. But I went in for 1 new tire, just 1. I even left my wheel there, it took 3 days to get it back. I have a weird size so it wasn't in stock, that's fine, they had it shipped from another shop, so that's day 1. Day 2 they call and say they have my tire, I ask if it's mounted. They say, oh you wanted it mounted? No I just want one random tire. They say they'll have it mounted and they'll call in about an hour. Never got that call. Day 3, I call and ask if it's done, they say it is. I go in and they have me wait 2 hours, I ended up frustrated and ask for my stuff back, they didn't even know they had the keys to my truck. I end up taking my wheel home and putting it in my truck with a bottle Jack and hand tools in under 5 minutes. You'd think with all their tools they can get a guy to put it on in 2 minutes. I ended up paying $200 for my 1 tire. read more

Went in to have tire repaired for a small nail in tread and oil change. I was told after 2 hours that the tire could not be repaired do to safety issues. I had already been upsold on all the filters on my car by the rep telling me they were dirty and out of the car. They tried to make me feel stupid by saying you don't want me to put the dirty ones back on do you? I agreed to the new filters. I did not appreciate their approach. Now they tried to sell me 4 new tires. I decided to check on the tire repair safety factor that I told about. Took car to Discount tire on Market Street. They told me safety is their main priority and they looked at my tire. Turns out it was a simple repair with no safety issue at all. They repaired it at no charge. Do not believe Big O if they tell you they can not repair the tire due to safety issues. This place scams you and trys to make you feel uncomfortable when you choose not to do the work. A tire specialist should be able to determine if there is a safety factor with your tires. read more
